We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Niles in Istanbul, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well cared for by the hotel staff. The manager and the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

We initially had a bit of a room arrangement hiccup for the last night of our stay. We had booked a different room for that final night due to availability, but the manager wonderfully managed to keep us in the same room the entire time. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more comfortable.

The staff were kind and friendly. Upon arrival, we were greeted with delicious apple tea, which set the tone for a warm and welcoming stay. The atmosphere of the hotel was cozy and had a distinct Turkish charm. We stayed in a VIP section that was both calm and beautifully decorated, really giving us a sense of being immersed in Turkish culture.

One of the highlights of our stay was having a Turkish hammam right in our room. It was such a special and unique experience that added an extra layer of relaxation and authenticity to our trip.

The location of Hotel Niles is also excellent. It’s just a couple of minutes away from the train station, and the surrounding neighborhood is full of charming little shops and high-quality restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the kebab place just a minute’s walk from the hotel on our last night.

Overall, Hotel Niles provided us with a wonderful stay, and we would absolutely love to return. Highly recommended!

A perfect stay that felt like home!

Everything about Hotel Niles Istanbul exceeded my expectations. The service was exceptional, every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They always greeted us by name, and we truly felt like guests at their home rather than customers.

After a small issue with room noise, the manager personally arranged a room change and even left a thoughtful note with treats, a perfect example of how much they value guest comfort.

The Turkish coffee they offered (twice!) was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the breakfast was both delicious and beautifully presented, fresh cheeses, olives, pastries, and homemade cakes served with a view of the Marmara Sea from their stunning rooftop terrace, which is open 24 hours.

Everything from the decor to the hospitality made our stay memorable. If you want a truly personal, authentic Istanbul experience, this is the place to stay.

Thank you, Hotel Niles, for your kindness and professionalism. We’ll definitely be back!

It was a wonderful hotel experience for us in Istanbul. We checked Trip Advisor and Google reviews. We also got recommendations from chatgpt.😅It's one of the most beautiful, cleanest, and most attentive hotels you can stay in Istanbul. If you come across this hotel, don't hesitate to book it! ❤️

Not sure how this is only 3 star. It was a fantastic family run inn. Did a longer review on social media because it was so good and the service was fantastic.

Google reviews say breakfast isn’t enough but believe me it is fine you’ll love the food.

The staff give directions very well and help with everything we needed. The hotel is very clean and taken care of well.

Location is beside Beyazit tram station which is a great place because it’s not in the city which is too noisy but just outside which is great.

I stayed at this hotel with my family during peak summertime - first week of July 2025, having booked around six weeks in advance—and I’m so glad we did. The ambience was absolutely gorgeous, with beautifully styled interiors that gave the place a warm yet modern feel.

The rooms were appropriately spacious, very clean, and well-kept. I really appreciated the hotel’s environmental initiatives, like the option to only replace towels if left on the floor, and the water dispensers available on each floor, which saved us from using single-use plastic bottles. It’s little touches like that that make a difference.

The housekeeping staff were lovely—so friendly and respectful. I asked if they could come by a little later since we were catching up on sleep, and they were really understanding. I also liked the door hangers to let them know whether or not you wanted to be disturbed.

The front desk team were fantastic too. Super welcoming, fluent in English, and made check-in a breeze. The manager was equally lovely—really attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

The only downside was the bathroom design—there was no lock on the door and ventilation could definitely be improved. I’ve already passed this feedback on directly to the hotel, but it’s worth noting for future guests. Another small improvement I’d love to see is the placement of the air conditioning unit. It’s positioned directly above the pillows, a bit too close to where your head would normally rest, so we didn’t feel much airflow while sleeping. We actually ended up sleeping the opposite way round just to get a bit more breeze!

Food-wise, we were happy. There was a basic variety—nothing overly fancy, but it covered all the basics well. The location is a real win too—just a five-minute walk to the tram and four minutes to the train station, which made getting around Istanbul super easy.

We booked three rooms for our family of six, and the setup worked perfectly. The AC itself worked well (and was very much needed with the heat!), and all the facilities—from the lifts to the lobby—were in great working order. I also appreciated the complimentary sewing kit in the room—a thoughtful and practical little touch you don’t see often!

One thing to flag: some of the additional services can be a bit pricey. For example, mobile SIM card is $60, which you could get elsewhere for less. I had an e-sim anyways but was shocked by the price. I hope no one pays that much! I also wish they included a few more complimentary extras like iced drinks or even omelettes at breakfast, which came at an extra cost.

Overall though, I’d absolutely recommend this hotel—especially for families. I’d 100% stay again on my next trip to Istanbul. It was a beautiful stay in every way that mattered.

A very kind and friendly uncle with a beard at the hotel was always helping me with my things, opening doors for me, and making tea for us whenever we were on the sofa. The tea was also excellent, and the morning tea was quite good. For those looking to save money, I recommend booking directly at the hotel and paying cash; it's cheaper than online. The hotel is slightly more expensive than surrounding hotels, but worth it. The only downside to Turkish hotels is that I suggest buying electrical outlets beforehand for added convenience.

This small hotel offers fantastic value for money. The friendly staff, clean rooms, and perfect location make it an ideal choice. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was delightful, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk from the Grand Bazaar.
