The breakfast selection is fantastic – you can have Chinese-style dishes or eat your fill of bread. Taxis are easy to catch, and the beach is just a few dozen meters away. You can walk all the way to the pier from there

Check-in was fast, no issues at all. The room was a bit small but honestly cozy, clean, and comfy enough. Then early in the morning a random cat 🐈 popped by our window 🪟 like “hi,” and it instantly made my morning

We stayed here for 2 nights and honestly, loved the vibe. We checked in late because of some stuff that came up, but the staff were super chill they even gave us welcome drinks 🍷 which I totally didn’t expect

Great value for money! It's surrounded by all the famous attractions, and you can walk to them in about 20 minutes. If you're coming, definitely stay for a few days. We're here for three weeks this time

Stayed at this hotel on my first day in Istanbul, and after exploring the city, I booked it again! The location, ambiance, service, and breakfast are all incredibly good value for money

Everything was clean and high quality. We absolutely loved the view from the balcony which is located across the street from the Black Sea

The hotel was surprisingly good. It's a 20-25 minute drive from the airport, with a paid shuttle bus costing €70 per vehicle round trip. The more people, the more cost-effective it is

Great stay by the Black Sea Super friendly staff. They arranged our transfers and we didn’t have to move a finger. The food in the restaurant is tasty and fresh. We got a room with ocean view with a balcony

I booked this hotel because it is on the Black Sea, when we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly person at the front desk. The food was fabulous, the breakfast was really good.

Breakfast is not included, but there is a 24-hour kitchen where you can enjoy seafood while admiring the sea view and listening to the sea breeze

The hotel is close to Galataport, Karakoy markets and restaurants, and offers easy access to tourist areas (near the tram and Karakoy station).

It’s compact room. This was booked thru Turkish Airline Stopover. Great customer service. Helpful and Kind gentlemen’s. Close to all the hot spot and some are walking distance.Thank you for a great hospitality.

Very convenient for those taking cruiseship or disembarking from Istanbul

This hotel is situated on a very busy road across the road from the ferry terminal, so it is noisy if you are on that side, bonus of being on that side though is that you get a view if you are high enough up so ask for a high room

Then when I returned after my tour both my friend and I were put in totally different rooms which had no smell, were fresh and much bigger - friend even had a balcony with a view of the ferry terminal

My first 3 nights the rooms smelt with an old stale smell, like the carpets needed cleaning and the rooms were very small, not enough room to lay flat my hard shell suitcase on the floor

We stayed here abut 20 days in december - january 2023-2024. It's not delightful, but a decent, good hotel. There were no bugs in winter, there was only one day when we heard the noise from our neightbours

The room was renovated long time ago, but everything was clean, the mattress was new, soft and comfortable, the pillows were also good. There was cold outside during our stay, but the heating worked well

The staff were very nice guys and helpful. The only problem for me was the smell from the street, presumably because of the wood heating in many houses of the district

There was no cleaning everyday, but they gave paper and shampoo on request. The breakfast was ok, i usually eat a lot, i was full every day

Nex time if i will go to Istanbul for several weeks, it is very probable that i will stay there, if i would not find anything cheaper

The internet was mostly ok, with rare interruptions. Our room was big enough for 3 persons

I stayed in this hotel for more than two weeks and the hotel was very nice, clean and quiet all the stuff were very professional especially Tareq in the restaurant and Eylul in the reception

Highly recommended hotel in Istanbul

The hotel is fine for a short stay, but don't expect too much from it. The location is very good, close to restaurants and public transport. Unfortunately, our room smelled of cigarettes, which was a shame

The hotel is located on the Asian side of Istanbul. To reach the historical center (for example, the Blue Mosque or Topkapi), you need to walk about 5-7 minutes to the metro and then ride for around 30 minutes

The rooms are a bit old, and the cleanliness could definitely be improved. In the bathroom, there was visible mold and stains on the furniture and surfaces, which was disappointing

Breakfast, however, was good, a wide variety of options, the possibility to order an omelette, and a nice selection of Turkish cheeses, appetizers, fresh fruits, and vegetables

This hotel is in such a convenient area and made our trip to Istanbul unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back and see Hatice again

He explained very clearly how to get to the city center, what to see, and which tours are available. The overall experience was ok, but there are several things to be aware of

I find this unacceptable for a large hotel chain of this level and I would put 2 stars for that but overall the staff were polite and courteous

I understand other reviews, some of the rooms on ground level face the inside foyer which means you may have people sitting right in front of your room

Frankly disappointed by the outdated state of the rooms; for 160 euros a night, it's very average.

Overall, the hotel is located near the streets that lead to the Galata Tower, and from there you can walk to Istiklal Street. Overall, I think the hotel is very well located, and for the price, the quality is excellent

The only thing I wouldn't recommend is breakfast, but that's subjective. The selection is very limited: boiled eggs, omelettes, cheeses, and tea. The coffee is disgusting, and the sausages were always on the plates

We could have asked for some, which we did, but they didn't bring it in bottles, but in small yogurt-like jars. Of course, that wasn't enough for us, so we had to buy it at the store

There was a kettle, tea bags, and coffee—everything was included. Toiletries included shower gel, soap, shampoo, disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and shower caps. There were even shoe polishes and sewing kits

Wonderful hotel! I truly recommend. The rooms are huge, the breakfast has many options, the location is just great, but the most impressive thing is the bathroom! What a great shower is that!

The hotel is beautiful and upscale it looks like it's shut its doors recently Maybe for the amendments because he is a very successful and special, but it is cool

Rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the location is perfect, putting you within walking distance of Taksim Square, İstiklal Caddesi, Gezi Parkı, and the Taksim Metro and Funicular station

Modern hotel, great breakfast buffet, great service. Some of the bathroom fittings were not in place, heating in room not working.

There is a wonderful rooftop terrace with a stunning view of the Blue Mosque and the sea. We had read some reviews mentioning mold in the rooms, but we did not experience this issue at all

On the contrary, the cleaning service was always excellent. One of us had a birthday during our stay, and the owner kindly surprised us with a small birthday cake

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Istanbul I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during my visit to Istanbul, and I couldn't have been more satisfied with my experience

This hotel is located right by the shores of Bosphorus in Istanbul, Turkey. Really convenient for morning walks alongside beautiful Bosphorus before diving into the tastefully prepared open buffet breakfast

However it did not have air conditioning as advertised, and when my partner inquired about this at the front desk, they took the safety off of our window so that it could be opened all the way

If you choose to stay here and temperature is important to you, I recommend getting a room with an exterior window because guests who had an interior window said they weren't able to get their hotel room below 47 C

The location was really good — just one minute from the Karaköy seaside, ten minutes to Galataport, and also about ten minutes to Galata Tower. But it was a bit far from the metro station

They had 24/7 concierge so we felt super safe the whole time, Onur the concierge always gave us a warm welcome as we came and went The hotel was clean, aircon worked, room was spacious enough and the price was pretty good especially for being in such a prime location!! Especially loved the community feeling...

Many breakfast spot and restaurants around, area feels very safe even late at night and if you’re a solo female traveller, the reception is 24/7 WiFi was working perfectly, they cleaned the room and provided fresh towels everyday I loved it! Only downside our room was pretty small but it’s okay

Great, friendly service and BY FAR, the best location in Karakoy, you can walk easily all over, including a brief walk across the bridge. The hotel is beautiful and a very good value

Hotel room was very clean and bed was VERY comfortable. Rooms are small but you visit Karakoy to walk around town, not to stay in your room

If you know where you're going. It's Laleli, so it's noisy in the mornings with people packing their cargo. Don't expect anything fancy for breakfast either

I was on vacation with my sister in October 2021, the hotel was very small but not bad, we stayed for 6 nights, it wasn’t a lot of money, for that kind of money it’s a normal hotel, we didn’t go for long for 6 days on business, we checked in right away, the breakfast was normal , there were a lot of people coming for goods, in principle it’s not bad for the money, it’s a budget hotel, if you go on...

The staff are so polite and welcoming. The rooms are clean. The only issue to mention is the small size of the room, which I asked them to change the room and they did.

It's very convenient for transportation, making it a great choice for sightseeing. The interior is clean and well-maintained after being remodeled. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Istanbul

Its is very nice place and nice view, so close to Hagia Sophia and very strategic location to visit all the tourist place. The terrace is also nice and calming. If you decide to come here please do so

The location was good and it was easy to get around. The hair dryer wasn't working properly so they replaced it. The service was very good for the price, so I would like to use it again.

In front of the hotel is a small plaza-like area, conveniently located just a short walk from the boat. There are also many dining options nearby, including a restaurant on the top floor, offering breathtaking sea views

Facilities: The room faces the sea, and the soundproofing is adequate. The noise from pedestrians and boats in the morning barely disturbs our rest, and the air conditioning isn't too loud

The hotel has a great sea view, located on the Galata Marina, but you can't see the mosque, as it's blocked by the hotel to the left

The room was generally clean, tidy, and comfortable, which is a plus given its new status. However, the maintenance seemed average. The switches in the bathroom were loose, and the shower gel tub kept falling out

Then walked about 20 - 25 mins uphill to grand bazaar for the restaurant reservation and still made it in time for it. Breakfast was really good and ample to choose from

Made dinner reservation for Nusret when we landed, reached Istanbul using Havaist 11 and was about 10 mins walk to the hotel

Only there for a short time, but everything went as expected. Top quality, great location, attentive staff. Security top-notch when I came back at night they made sure I was a resident and that’s what you want to see.

The location is perfect, with tram, metro, and boat connections right by the hotel. The breakfast room is on the terrace, with a beautiful view of the Galata Tower on one side and the Bosboerus on the other

The hotel has a fantastic location, right at the Galata Bridgehead, offering some sea views. The breakfast is of high quality, and the room facilities are excellent.

The hotel is literally steps away from the Galata bridge (for walking across to the Sultanahmet area), the ferry terminal to Kadikoy and other places, the Tunel (funicular) to Istiklal street, and the T1 tram to Kabatas (Dolmabahce Palace) and Sultanahmet

A very satisfying stay! The hotel's location is super convenient, very close to all the attractions. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, the room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable

Waterfront restaurant has some decent Turkish breakfast and great for wine and dine at sunset. Special pier for quick access to European side made our two days stay very effective despite the Bosphorus Bridge traffic

The Sumahan is a wonderful spot right at the Bosporus. Wonderful rooms and super friendly staff. I can recommend this space 100% and I will definitely come back again. Also the neighborhood is nice to walk around

We even had the honor and fortune of meeting the owners, who fully represent the hotel's kindness and hospitality and who took the time to explain to us how they managed to convert a house under monumental protection into this architectural piece of art

And, of course, the hotel also offers excellent food, catering to both a continental and a traditional Turkish taste. Furthermore, the hotel offers a gym with all the necessary equipment and a spa

Because the Sumahan is a boutique hotel, interactions with the staff were much more intimate and personable than a large hotel complex could offer
