Saint Star Hotel left rather average and in many ways disappointing impressions. If you are looking for a place to enjoy diverse and high-quality food, this hotel will most likely not meet your expectations. The food selection is very limited, the menu repeats constantly, and the quality is poor – more disappointing than tasty. After just a few days, the meals become monotonous and feel more like a necessity than something to enjoy.

The atmosphere was also not particularly pleasant. The hotel is packed with Russian tourists, and in the evenings there is only loud Russian music, played at a volume that suggests no one cares about the comfort of other guests. If you prefer a calmer environment or simply don’t want to listen to blasting music every night, make sure to bring earplugs – without them, your holiday may easily turn sleepless.

Service was another weak point. The general attitude felt indifferent and unhelpful, with little effort to provide assistance or create a welcoming atmosphere. When asking for help or information, answers were often unuseful, or staff only reacted after repeated requests. Instead of feeling like a valued guest, it often felt like being an inconvenience.

That said, there are some positives worth mentioning. The airport is located nearby, which makes travel more convenient, especially after a long flight. Shops are also within easy reach, which is practical if you need to buy something quickly or stock up on drinks and snacks. The room itself was more or less okay – nothing special, but acceptable if you keep your expectations modest.

In conclusion, Saint Star Hotel might suit those who mainly care about a lower price and convenient location. However, if you value good service, quality food, and a pleasant evening atmosphere, you may want to consider another option. This place can work if you are ready to spend your nights with earplugs and don’t set the bar too high.

We just checked into the hotel today, but we had a bad experience. As soon as we entered the room, we saw that our sheets were dirty. When they came to change them, the staff preferred to drag the new sheets on the floor. We arrived at the end of lunch, so I can't say anything about the food. However, when we went to eat hamburgers afterwards, we also experienced hygiene problems there because there were no serving tools to pick up the hamburger fillings (tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles), everyone was picking them up with their hands. This seemed absurd to us, and the pickles were unpleasant. The rooms were not as pictured. The hotel brochure at the reception mentioned billiards, table tennis, etc., but when we asked, they said they didn't have them. We couldn't understand why they would list something that didn't exist. As always, the majority of the staff were tourists, and most of the staff were foreigners. Unfortunately, we experienced this in just one and a half hours on our first day.

When I checked into this hotel, I was put in the basement (essentially the cellar), where I slept under four blankets for two nights because it was freezing cold, even with the air conditioning on (30 degrees Celsius). Bonus: when I turned on the light in the bathroom, the fan was incredibly noisy. The most interesting thing is that there's a storage room next door, similar in size. See what I mean? Essentially, they put me in a top-notch economy room, even though I had a standard room with a balcony. I was moved after two days, and I had tons of complaints through the tour operator. No one apologized for the wasted time and money. No one. The receptionist said they give priority to couples in normal rooms, and if I don't like something, and I quote, "let your travel agent come here and check you in." Pretty cool, huh? So if you're single, you also risk getting that room. No one could give a clear explanation for why this happened either—it's high season, that's the whole point, there are no rooms. I was shocked. Now about everything else. The beach is far away, the minibus runs infrequently and is packed, 4-5 times a day there and back, if you missed it, you'd have to walk 40 minutes. The entertainment was sometimes mediocre, sometimes okay. The music was the same; good music was rarely played. The hotel owner would constantly hover over you—on the hotel grounds, and especially in the evening at the bar—it felt like you were relaxing with a boss watching you—not a very cool feeling, unpleasant and tense. The food was pretty monotonous. The porridge was the same every morning, and the rest of the dishes for lunch and dinner were the same. As for fruit: apples, oranges, watermelon—that's all. Bananas, peaches, apricots, and pears were absent. My favorite drink was mojito, so my favorite answer at the bar in the evening was "None." And for dessert: the host company, Coral Travel, specifically Odeon Tour, offered me, as compensation, to sign a receipt waiving all claims (I lived in a basement for two days) in exchange for a yacht trip. Of course, I told them quite bluntly and clearly that I wasn't going to sign anything, and he would be.

The biggest disappointment was the food. Every day it was the same bland, repetitive, and poorly prepared dishes. Nothing tasted fresh, and for the price of this hotel, the dining felt more like a cheap cafeteria than a proper resort. The atmosphere was equally bad — the entertainment was boring, the music terrible, and nothing like the glamorous image they promote on Instagram. But the worst part was the owner himself. He constantly watches the guests, counts the glasses on the tables, threatens people with eviction, and even makes inappropriate advances toward women. Instead of feeling relaxed, you feel controlled and uncomfortable. Overall, this hotel is absolutely not worth the money. No good food, no proper entertainment, and no respect for the guests. Definitely not recommended.
