AKKA Hotels Claros in Kemer

Overall, we liked the hotel. We stayed there for about 1,5 weeks in July 2025. The hotel is good, the staff is very polite and helpful with all questions, such as how to get to different places.

The hotel has an excellent beach. There were small jellyfish in the deep water for two or three days during our stay, but they didn't bother us much. There was some trash floating around, but it was rare and not much, but I think that's the case everywhere.
There are beautiful fish near the pier.
They give out watermelon on the beach around 10-11 a.m. It took us about 5-7 minutes to walk to the beach.

The food was varied, with different types of fish, chicken, turkey, burgers, and lots of delicious side dishes. The watermelons were very tasty. Everything was fine with the food and after eating, and we had no stomach problems.
The only thing that bothered us and other guests were the flies. Once in two weeks, they were in the salad. But there were no wasps.
The bar makes delicious cold coffee with syrup, and in the afternoon they serve very tasty ice cream.

The room was mostly cleaned well. They always provided water.

The entertainment program is very good, with talented acrobats and mostly excellent dancers. Pleasant live music with guitar and vocals.

The hammam is good, as is the massage. Every additional service that you will be offered during the process is not free, as it may seem at first. (!)

The area around the pool gets dirty in the evening, but the pool itself is cleaned and chlorinated regularly.

The music in the hotel lobby and dining room is very monotonous, repetitive, and often too loud. Since we didn't have a place to sit in our room, we often spent time in the lobby after lunch in the heat, and the loud music was distracting and simply annoying. We would have liked a more varied and unobtrusive playlist.

The hotel guide, P.E., tried to sell us excursions at the meeting before discussing the return transfer and hotel details. This is not our first time in Turkey, and we do not need excursions. When we politely informed him of this and asked him to give us information, he got angry, took offense, and behaved strangely, to say the least, and, as we later found out, dishonestly. We had to arrange our departure through him, which was impossible. Our departure from the hotel was scheduled too late, and we barely found out about it in time. And that's just one example. We reported the details to the hotel manager and tour operator and hope that conclusions will be drawn.

We took a taxi to nearby Mount Tahtali, bought tickets ourselves on the spot, and it was cheaper. We also went to the neighboring town of Phaselis on our own. I highly recommend it.

I advise you to book a taxi through the U app, then ask the driver to turn on the meter. After the trip, be sure to check the amount the driver enters into the app. It should be the same as on the taximeter. Payment is made by card through the app.

There are many shops selling churchkhela and other Turkish sweets near the hotel. In one of them, they put sweets that we did not order in a closed box, so we paid about $15-20 extra. The store had a red carpet, and that's what they call themselves, because they all look alike. But I think it's the same in other stores, so I advise you to always check what they weigh for you.
Cheap souvenirs, sweets, and soap should be bought at an official supermarket in Kemer. They are much cheaper there.

Overall, we liked the hotel and the location, and we had a great vacation.

If you’re not too picky, this is truly a lovely hotel for a relaxing holiday. A big thank you to the hotel team for all their hard work and for being so patient with us easy-going tourists. We visited this hotel with our family in August 2024, so I am sharing my experience while it was still fresh. Overall, we liked the hotel, it is a four-star hotel. As everywhere, there are pros and cons. I will start with the pros. 1. Free Wi-Fi. And of good quality, unexpectedly for a four-star hotel. Of course, it does not work on the beach, but it is excellent in the hotel. 2. Free beach towels (no deposit) 3. Reasonable prices in the SPA. I went to the wonderful girl Nana for a magical Thai massage twice. Initially, I planned to go once for fun, but after the session I realized that I would come again)) 4. Compact but cozy hotel grounds. There is one swimming pool (not counting the children's paddling pool), only 2 slides, but this is enough for children, there are not so many people in the pool, it is not crowded. You can always find sun loungers near the pool, no need to take them in the morning. The water in the pool does not smell of chlorine, we asked - they said that they chlorinate at night, so there is no obvious smell. 5. The food is quite tasty and varied, but there are bad batches - overdried or oversalted, for example. Beef, by the way, was always tasty, even though I do not like it, but I liked it. Of the fruits, there were always watermelons, melons, plums, apples and oranges. Vegetables, greens, various sauces, side dishes - rice, French fries, sometimes buckwheat. Of the meat - chicken, turkey, beef, lamb. Fish was every day - mostly grilled or in batter, but sometimes they served stewed fish. For breakfast, the standard - eggs, pancakes, omelets. Naturally, this is not the whole list. There were some other dishes that were unusual for my perception, some tasty, some specific. But we never remained hungry. The pastries are also quite tasty. Compared to our previous five-star hotel, which had a huge variety of food, but in fact there was nothing to eat, because the food was simply spoiled by inexperienced cooks, this hotel pleasantly surprised us with its food. 6. From 2 to 4 pm they serve very tasty ice cream! Perhaps it cannot be compared with our ice cream with cream, but it is also very decent! Again, compared to the previous 5-star hotel, where the ice cream was the consistency of snot, we were pleasantly surprised that this hotel has ice cream, and even edible. 7. The hotel itself is not new, you can see that the interior is already tired, but nevertheless clean and cozy, the furniture in the rooms is old, but all working. Cleaning and change of towels in the rooms every day. 8. There is a good children's room, in the evenings a mini-disco for children. Upon check-out, each child is given a gift in the mini-club - a coloring book, a bookmark and photo clips. 9. The hotel staff are friendly, they smile at you, some speak Russian, some do not, but you can explain yourself in English or, at worst, with your fingers. Of course, there are also things to complain about. -1. The first and main thing is that there are not enough seats in the dining room. We have a large group of 7 people and at the beginning of our stay there were no problems taking a large table for everyone. But then, apparently, the hotel was fully occupied and in order to have lunch or dinner, you had to wait 30-60 minutes until at least a small table became free, and we did not

Excellent hotel. Excellent food, attentive staff, evening entertainment for children and adults, live music, performances. The beach sunbeds are occupied in the morning, at 10:00 everything is occupied, but closer to 11:00 people start to leave and sunbeds appear. During the day there are generally few people on the beach. I recommend!

It was great experience. Rooms are standard, food is various and delicious. Waiters and staff are friendly and always ready to help. We managed to check in early after a long journey. They have live music, shows, entertainment during the day.

I won't lower the hotel's rating, but after reading a bunch of recent laudatory reviews, I can't resist adding a few flies in the ointment. 1. The biggest minus is room cleaning. They didn't change the towels unless you asked. In defiance of previous reviews, I'll say that after cleaning, neatly folded towels on the shelf are not new. Tips didn't help the situation, so by the end of the vacation they spat on it and hung up a "do not disturb" sign. 2. Thank God, we are relaxed about alcohol, but I've never seen cocktails poured into soft plastic cups anywhere. And they taste so good that I personally immediately poured them into the sink. It turns out that they don't have rum or tequila, even locally produced ones. They even pour vodka into mojitos. 3. By the way, about vodka. No one has ever noted in their reviews that this hotel is purely for Russians. I have never seen 99% of vacationers being Russian speakers (at least in July 2024). Maybe someone will find this important. Otherwise, everything was tolerable and even nice in places. After the five-star hotels, the hotel is, of course, a bit simple. But Turkey is getting more expensive - and we knew what we were getting into. P.S. Special respect to the chefs. They always made very acceptable dishes from rather modest products. And we ate enough fish for a year ahead)

The hotel is very good) really 4* We arrived at 9:30, they sent us straight to breakfast and then checked us in at about 10:30... although check-in is usually at 14:00. ROOM. The room was good, yes, not with new furniture, but still great. Everything worked (shower, light, air conditioning, refrigerator) CLEANING. Was every day, they changed towels, put shower accessories, washed the floor... as for whether they changed the bed linen every day, I doubt it... well, no need (at home, we don't change it every day😅). FOOD. The choice is large, you can find something for yourself... there were days when it was very tasty, there were days when it was average... there is always fish, meat, delicious local pastries. from fruits (apples, plums, watermelon and melon). TERRITORY. Very nice, clean with a swimming pool. STAFF. Very nice guys work, always help, clean, with a smile on their face. BEACH. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach with free sun loungers. There's a bar there, you can get drinks (fruits, snacks, but at a certain time). ANIMATION. Different every day (karaoke, tricks, dancing, live singing, etc.) starts at 21:30. There were also MINUSES for me personally, but not so serious 1) very good audibility 2) there could be dirty plates 3) persistent massage therapist Ali Baba (he constantly calls for a massage and says that I will earn money if you think about coming or not), but people sign up for him and are even happy. Keep in mind that this is a village, there is nowhere to walk, only along the market along the street. That is, the rest will be as calm as possible.

We stay Akka Claros Hotel with my friend. Good food and conversation with animation team; especially thanks to Melike and Yiğit. We have a good time. Thanks for everything.
