Reviews
We stayed in a larger room, which was very spacious with a balcony.
Location is good for central Wimbledon. Bus stop outside the hotel. Breakfast was very expensive but was of a good quality.

If your love is Italian food you would rarely find better.
OK it's expensive but worth it
I like meat so I want to eat good food
What they offer meets my requirements, wash down with a good Italian wine in a simi rustic decor of old world charm you have the perfect blend. Kids menu on offer
Greeted pleasantly . Greeter(manager ?) was very helpful and friendly.
Service was prompt. Food was ok except my wife ordered chicken Kiev and when it arrived , not alone was the chicken not even pink ..... it was raw in the centre. Obviously not thawed out properly. Waiter apologised and replaced it. No amendment made to bill. Without her glasses on, she could have eaten some of it before realising that it was uncooked. Result could have been very nasty. Surprised that no attempt was made to make amends.
Firstly vegetarian food like for example tofu and vegetable curry anywhere else it wouldn't cost more then 7.50-8£ however we did order it few times and so forth but today I called them asking for a side of tofu teriyaki no rice no salad, just tofu...over the phone they said it would have been the same price but with the usual box full of tofu teriyaki...I go there to collect and the owner says it was a mistake for 8.90£ same amount of tofu in a half empty box and he couldn't put any extra bits in it since it was my fault to don't want the tie or salad with it but tofu stays the same few bits for £9!!!!
Really really disappointed and upset that after 2 years of eating there we had to make the decision that it is not worth it anymore not for the food, not for the price and not for the customer service!
I had the house noodle thing with mixedeat and seafood. The beef tasted borderline, a bit strong smelling. The whole dish just didn't seem hot enough, so I had attention on the prawns especially, a high risk food. It didn't seem like they'd been cooked on a high heat. My son had the katsu chicken which was nice, but again the curry sauce was not hot enough. Some freshly squeezed juices would be a nice touch. Young guy waiter and an older girl, I didn't get a sense they knew a lot about the menu, they had to check when I asked if I could have duck on noodles. If they were really busy I'm not sure they could cope and the food would probably suffer as a consequence. Very nice bunch, I just think they could raise their game a bit and it would make a big difference.
Recommend sweet potato croquettes and tofu udon. Their sushi is also delicious. I loved the spicy tuna!
