Had an enjoyable one night's stay when in London for a couple of days. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and even gave us free cookies! Would stay again!
Good hotel. Very clean and good location. Close proximity to the passport office and the train line.
Hotel lifts were out of order constantly, paid for two singles got a double bed, went down to the front desk they said they would send house keeping up, waited an hour went down again to complain they moved us up from the 6th to the 7th floor same issues again house keeping came eventually after half hour to sort the beds out, rooms were small the bathroom was claustrophobic, the shower was full of...
Great hotel. Great location. Very near to the London Excel exhibition hall. I can imagine this hotel gets very busy when there are exhibitions on. When we were there there weren’t any exhibitions on, so all very pleasant. Close to DLR and Elizabeth tube line stations, so simple to get to London Padington.
Staff very helpful
There's a slight issue with Ctrip's search function. We wanted to book a hotel near Victoria Station, but this one is located near Royal Victoria Station, which requires two subway changes to get to. That's £3.10 * 2 every day just for commuting!!!!!!
if they have slippers provided that would be nice

It's a bit far from the subway. It's conveniently located right in front of a bus stop, but if you primarily use the subway, it might be a bit inconvenient. Waterloo and Lambeth subway stations are about a 10-minute walk away, but it was a bit scary at night because there were so few people there. Other than the location, it was great.
Pleasant stay, everything was clean and as described. But there wasn’t any complimentary water or hygiene products such as a tooth brush etc. in the room.
Location close to London attractions. Easy walking distance to them. Safe environment even when walking at night. I see families with children in the hotel. Something that creates a bit of insecurity is that there are no card readers in the elevators, so anyone can use them. Breakfast a little below average. I would go elsewhere for breakfast in the future. The omelette/eggs were inedible. They were...
The gym and the sauna is located at the basement. The sauna is very nice.
The room is clean and spaceous. Okay for 3 adults.
Not ideal location for family vacation. No restaurants or convenience stall nearby
Renovation on the same staying floor should not have been allowed.
The room was a bit small. Everything else was good, the price/performance ratio was OK, and you can see the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben in just 5 minutes.

Our booking was queen size bed and a sofa bed but we only got double bed only instead. Just a night staying for an event so not too bother as the location was great! Less than 5minutes walk to Borough Market.
The hotel was nice. The location is really convenient. The hotel rooms are not really modern.
We booked a room with two double beds and stayed for three days. However, the room felt quite small for four people (two adults and two children). It was basically just large enough to fit the two beds, with very limited space to move around. There isn’t much to see or do around the hotel on the South Bank, apart from Borough Market. On a positive note, the staff were very nice and friendly.
Was there for a week, enjoyed the stay there with my family l. Overall happy with my stay

Altogether not a bad stay apart from bathroom being so small that I couldn't sit straight and had to sit sideways. The sink was so small you couldn't wash in it. It was a cloakroom sink. Photo's are very deceiving and I certainly wouldn't give it an 8.2 / 10. You need to review that.
Very nice hotel - comfortable beds - I had a very good 1 night stay here away from the city
What lovely staff here, I am dairy free and the kitchen staff were amazing to accommodate me and offer different things for me. Also offered to cooked me separate food. Our room was also not ready when we arrived so we were given a complimentary drink for the wait. We had a wonderful stay
Service very good / helpful, problem with the temperature was quickly resolved. I was given the option of moving rooms. Bar badly stocked, no gin ! The woman at the bar said they could not restock for a week, previous guests had drunk it all 😏. I was “ room only” as I knew there were a good range of bakeries / restaurants very nearby.
Theoretically we were upgraded from a Deluxe room to a Club room. The strange thing is that the room was very small and located in the LG (Basement). Breakfast was very good and the location is excellent.

There is a bar inside the hotel and they serve great Martini with great vibe!
I had a wonderful stay at The Bloomsbury Hotel during my recent visit to London. The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located, and very well maintained. The rooms are clean, stylish, and the beds are extremely comfortable.
The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and high quality. What truly stood out was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff — from the reception team to the porters...
Great location, lovely bars and the jazz down stairs was an added extra. Really good cocktail
Nice hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. Very central location inLondon, easy access to underground station and British museum.
But the alley next to the hotel can be kind of sketchy during the night time. I understand that is nothing the hotel can do, it is more like a London public safety thing. but I do want to remind people who want to stay at this hotel to be careful especially at the night...
We’ve stayed here twice and enjoyed the stay both times. The common areas—the lounge, the Corral Room, and the speakeasy—are all great. The service is very friendly and fantastic. The hotel is centrally located for doing a lot in London & you can walk to many destinations. The rooms both times were small. Our only really complaint is that the bathrooms were too small and there was very limited...
We were in London just for a few days to catch a couple of shows and enjoy a little break away. Booked the Bloomsbury as it looked nice. Importantly it was well located within walking distance of many sights and close to an underground station for wider exploration.

There was dust in the cupboard and a broken drawer with no front. And one of the two towels was dirty. Tv was quite a small one in the room this time. Other sane room types have bigger ones. Could be more consistent.
Other than that it was fine.
Great place to stay and great service
Lateish checkin but greeted with smiles and excellent service. Buffet breakfast is excellent. Rooms are really quiet. Definitely worth staying at this hotel especially if you are working or visiting this side of London. Very easy access to Liverpool Street station etc.
Was a perfect location, a 5 minute walk from Liverpool Street station.
Was easy to check in and a got a good night sleep.
Been here a few times my go to hotel in London .
Absolutely perfect room. Perfect for solo or couple travellers. Got everything you need in a modern minimal room layout. Loved everything about my stay. Definitely recommend and will choose it again if ever needed.

We stayed for 3 days in a family room, which cost approximately 1440 RMB per night. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay. The room wasn't very large, but thankfully they provided water, biscuits, and coffee. The cleanliness was about 80 out of 100, but it was very quiet. We could see the Shard's spire from the window.

The hotel location, cleanliness and rooms were all good. We had three problems, I had stayed at this chain of hotel before and new you had to book to use the swimming pool. Amazing stay with great service, room was large and comfy, bathroom had heated drying rack and mirror. Free ginger and honey tea, and cookies in the lobby, would love to come back for another stay. Walking distance to lots of theatres and shopping area.
pretty good spot to be in london especially this area
londons still new to me
Hotel was clean.
Small things are big things - such as having refreshing ginger drink and a hand towel at the elevator waiting area.
The lowest category room is VERY SMALL. And the “city view” is not a city view but instead it is an inner “courtyard” view which basically means facing a wall. The rooms facing the park are lovely, but the other rooms are really awful
Great location, 15 - 20 min walk to shopping areas. Close by are restaurants of which a couple are open from 6am, so helpful when one is jet lagged and want to grab a bite at the wee hours in the morning. Train station is a 20 min stroll across the park which is pleasant. Of particular mention is the service; after a tiring day it was nice to come back to bright smiles all around. There might be a reason why I tend to return to this hotel?
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Kensington Hotel and truly could not recommend it more.

The Kensington Hotel is a lovely place to stay. The room is on the smaller side, but it’s comfortable and well kept, and the location is excellent. What really makes the stay special is the staff , everyone is kind, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely looked after. I felt safe, welcome, and well cared for throughout my stay. On top of that, the restaurant is top-notch, with excellent food and a...
The two of us came for afternoon tea at The Kensington on 12 December for a 3pm booking. We chose it as, at certain times, they have a very talented artist who paints your experience, which really appealed to us.

The room felt recently renovated. It's about a 10-minute walk to Waterloo train station (underground), which is a little inconvenient for those with luggage as there are several intersections to cross. My stay at The Cavendish was excellent. The location, room, cleanliness, and overall service were truly outstanding. However, the lighting in the room at night was extremely poor. Great location, nice spacious rooms.
It's a little pricey, but not unrealistic for this part of London.
Staff were excellent across all aspects.
Reception, concierge, car valet, room service.

Very classic British hotel in Blackheath. Lovely location surrounded by greenery but easy to jump on transport to anywhere in London. The downside of the hotel is the rooms were hot. It was spring so not even summer. No aircon but we had a fan which didn’t do much.
I just live this traditional hotels, although some may say it is need to modernising, I feel its beautiful, along with the creaking floorboards.
Traditional standards throughout, with really lovely staff.
Had a lovely stay at the Clarendon. We're not particularly that keen on London but, if we do have to go, we like to visit Blackheath and the location of The Clarendon is perfect. Staff are nice, breakfast is good and plentiful too and ye rooms are nice, comfy and clean.
Nice place. Good for families.
Second time staying at this hotel. Fantastic location and service is great. There was an issue with our room being incorrectly allocated to start with, but the lady on reception sorted it straight away and found us 2 rooms opposite each other. Lovely rooms and very good breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.
Service was amazing, food was amazing, location was perfect, my only issue was the window would forcefully shut itself unless wedged open with something and there was nowhere to refrigerate drinks despite the insanely hot weather at the time of my stay, however my trip was amazing and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

The best view in London! Staying right next to Hyde Park was a dream. The hotel is stylish, quiet, and perfectly situated for exploring the city. Special thanks to the team for the excellent hospitality.
Great location and very friendly staff who welcomed me with complimentary cookies. Disappointed, a four star hotel apparently. Staff ignored me when looking for my booking, issue due to names been mixed around. Within half an hour of been in the room there is someone coming in to finish preparing the room for guests.
