Had an enjoyable one night's stay when in London for a couple of days. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and even gave us free cookies! Would stay again!

There's a slight issue with Ctrip's search function. We wanted to book a hotel near Victoria Station, but this one is located near Royal Victoria Station, which requires two subway changes to get to. That's £3.10 * 2 every day just for commuting!!!!!!

It's a bit far from the subway. It's conveniently located right in front of a bus stop, but if you primarily use the subway, it might be a bit inconvenient. Waterloo and Lambeth subway stations are about a 10-minute walk away, but it was a bit scary at night because there were so few people there. Other than the location, it was great.

Pleasant stay, everything was clean and as described. But there wasn’t any complimentary water or hygiene products such as a tooth brush etc. in the room.

The gym and the sauna is located at the basement. The sauna is very nice. The room is clean and spaceous. Okay for 3 adults.

Not ideal location for family vacation. No restaurants or convenience stall nearby Renovation on the same staying floor should not have been allowed.

The room was a bit small. Everything else was good, the price/performance ratio was OK, and you can see the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben in just 5 minutes.

Our booking was queen size bed and a sofa bed but we only got double bed only instead. Just a night staying for an event so not too bother as the location was great! Less than 5minutes walk to Borough Market.

The hotel was nice. The location is really convenient. The hotel rooms are not really modern.

We booked a room with two double beds and stayed for three days. However, the room felt quite small for four people (two adults and two children). It was basically just large enough to fit the two beds, with very limited space to move around. There isn’t much to see or do around the hotel on the South Bank, apart from Borough Market. On a positive note, the staff were very nice and friendly.

Altogether not a bad stay apart from bathroom being so small that I couldn't sit straight and had to sit sideways. The sink was so small you couldn't wash in it. It was a cloakroom sink. Photo's are very deceiving and I certainly wouldn't give it an 8.2 / 10. You need to review that.

What lovely staff here, I am dairy free and the kitchen staff were amazing to accommodate me and offer different things for me. Also offered to cooked me separate food. Our room was also not ready when we arrived so we were given a complimentary drink for the wait. We had a wonderful stay

Service very good / helpful, problem with the temperature was quickly resolved. I was given the option of moving rooms. Bar badly stocked, no gin ! The woman at the bar said they could not restock for a week, previous guests had drunk it all 😏. I was “ room only” as I knew there were a good range of bakeries / restaurants very nearby.

Theoretically we were upgraded from a Deluxe room to a Club room. The strange thing is that the room was very small and located in the LG (Basement). Breakfast was very good and the location is excellent.

There was dust in the cupboard and a broken drawer with no front. And one of the two towels was dirty. Tv was quite a small one in the room this time. Other sane room types have bigger ones. Could be more consistent.  Other than that it was fine.

Lateish checkin but greeted with smiles and excellent service. Buffet breakfast is excellent. Rooms are really quiet. Definitely worth staying at this hotel especially if you are working or visiting this side of London. Very easy access to Liverpool Street station etc.

Hotel was clean. Small things are big things - such as having refreshing ginger drink and a hand towel at the elevator waiting area.

The lowest category room is VERY SMALL. And the “city view” is not a city view but instead it is an inner “courtyard” view which basically means facing a wall. The rooms facing the park are lovely, but the other rooms are really awful

Great location, 15 - 20 min walk to shopping areas. Close by are restaurants of which a couple are open from 6am, so helpful when one is jet lagged and want to grab a bite at the wee hours in the morning. The location is very good, it is very convenient to go to Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park, and it is also close to the subway entrance. The hotel staff are also very nice. The TV in the room had no signal, and they came over and patiently fixed it for a long time.

Very classic British hotel in Blackheath. Lovely location surrounded by greenery but easy to jump on transport to anywhere in London. The downside of the hotel is the rooms were hot. It was spring so not even summer. No aircon but we had a fan which didn’t do much.

I just live this traditional hotels, although some may say it is need to modernising, I feel its beautiful, along with the creaking floorboards. Traditional standards throughout, with really lovely staff.

Had a lovely stay at the Clarendon. We're not particularly that keen on London but, if we do have to go, we like to visit Blackheath and the location of The Clarendon is perfect. Staff are nice, breakfast is good and plentiful too and ye rooms are nice, comfy and clean.

Second time staying at this hotel. Fantastic location and service is great. There was an issue with our room being incorrectly allocated to start with, but the lady on reception sorted it straight away and found us 2 rooms opposite each other. Lovely rooms and very good breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

Service was amazing, food was amazing, location was perfect, my only issue was the window would forcefully shut itself unless wedged open with something and there was nowhere to refrigerate drinks despite the insanely hot weather at the time of my stay, however my trip was amazing and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

When I checked into the room, the bed was not made!!! The rubbish bin was filled with trash and there was a used dirty towel in the bathroom!!!  I was appalled! The on-duty manager was helpful and offered me another room.

However, my first room had a strong sewage smell, and the second room was not properly cleaned, with hair everywhere and missing basic amenities like slippers, a toothbrush, and a hairdryer. The location is near Hyde Park, but it's not very convenient. I'd recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton near Tower Bridge instead. The room windows here don't open, so the air circulation is poor. I definitely prefer the DoubleTree by Hilton by Tower Bridge.

Had breakfast at Collins Room and every dish was a hit. On the pricey side but you won’t mind once you’re stuffed. Food from room service was also really good. Staff are polite and helpful. Concierge came through with Beyoncé tickets at the very last minute (sadly didn’t get his name). A stones throw away from Harrods. Hot stone massage at the spa was exceptional!

Stayed here quite a few times now, the staff are always friendly and welcoming, the breakfast is good and reasonably priced, this hotel is 100% family friendly and there is also free overnight parking on the road directly outside. Perfect if your looking for somewhere to stay close to Central London or Westminster thats not over priced.
