The stay was generally satisfactory. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby restaurants. Check in and check out processes were smooth, and the staff were polite and professional. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable, though some furnishings showed minor signs of wear. Noise levels were acceptable, and basic amenities were provided as expected. WiFi...
I stayed here for a weekend when I was traveling by myself. This way probably my favorite hotel experience in my three weeks in Cali! Being in Chinatown leaves you decently close to a LOT of things. I was able to visit The Getty, downtown, and a few other areas without driving too long/too much traffic. The staff is incredibly nice, and the receptionists are helpful and attentive. If you’re a solo...
Really nice hotel. Booked the dragon suite king size and the quality of the room is amazing. Cool art in the room. Samsung flat screen 55 inch tv with original remote. Parking was $18/night but there's an elevator that takes you straight up to your floor, it's covered parking and very convenient. Very good deal for what you get.
Had to make an emergency stop because of a canceled bus. Room was very nice, same for the shower. Clean, efficient, I can't remember why I stayed elsewhere before I started staying at Best Western. At this particular one the night clerk was also very helpful. I forgot my meal ticket and she was nice enough to write me a new one so I didn't have to go all the way back to my room.
First, we don't mind walking so this was great for us. Close to Union station, little Tokyo and in little China. Front desk is courteous and knowledgeable and kind. They were knowledgeable about local restaurants and stores and points of interest. Cleaning staff is helpful and willing to give extras. We had three people and not enough towels. They gave us extra for our stay when we asked. The Continental...
I'm so happy I came across this hotel. It was absolutely perfect. I want to address the parking. I've read in previous reviews that people were appalled that there is an $18 charge per night. First, the other hotels charge between $50-$60 per night! Secondly, some hotels have off-site parking if they even have parking at all. I arrived Friday afternoon and thought the hotel was adorable. The two associates...

Staff and location are highlights of the stay. Have appropriate expectations helps. This is an old Los Angeles apartment complex that was turned into a hotel. As such it's older and dated which is also part of it's charm.
pros: the rooms are spacious, which is good for families that have kid's, my children loved that there was an ice cream machine and a coke machine and how nice the staff were, and that there were free snacks. Cons: the floor was a bit dirty and the tables were kinda sticky, and the things are a bit old.
Their staff is top-notch and were extremely helpful when we checked in after being checked in to another hotel without the room being cleaned.
Charming 1950s hotel just off Hollywood Boulevard. So it's very convenient and walkable to the main street. Warm and friendly staff and nice touches like complimentary snacks, soft serve, soft drinks, breakfast, laundry. And heated pool!
Room is old. Carpet old. Service good. People that work there is nice. It serves its purpose if your going next door to the Magic Castle.
Everything was amazing as always. This is our 3rd stay here. All 4 of our kids love it here. The level of customer service is unmatched.

Because our return flight is early in the morning, we decided to stay nearby PVG the day before departure. With many luggages and bags, we were so exhausted when we arrived the hotel. Surprisedly, the hotel concierge, Felix Wang was very helpful and provided an impressive service which made our trip with a great ending.
Our stay at Holiday Inn Hollywood Walk of Fame was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. On the downside, we were disappointed that there was no free drinking water provided. Something so essential, especially for travelers, yet inconveniently missing. This was made even more frustrating by the mandatory destination fee, which felt completely unjustified given the lack of basic amenities. The...
No free water in the room. $3 per bottle . Can’t believe it .
It is very convenient place to stay the Hollywood walk of fame.Front desk (Mr Alonso) was very helpful in changing the room to desired one. I felt that rooms are little slope which made me feel uneven. Hotel also has facility to store the luggage for $5 per bag per day if needed. Breakfast was great and sufficient. Great place to stay overall .

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at for my regular staycations. The rooftop is the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself and definitely a place where you can feel comfortable talking with other guests. My only annoyance was the $50 corkage fee for opening and drinking the wine that came in my room, on the rooftop. I’ll definitely be checking in a few more times this year though :) Highly...
Super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were nice but the sheets on the bed were a bit rough.
We originally booked one of the cheap rooms. But I couldn’t get over the style discrepancy. So I decided to upgrade to a red premium rooms as a surprise for my partner. Unfortunately, when I arrived, they didn’t have any knowledge of my room upgrade. We walked into the original room instead of the surprise. When we went back down to alert them to the error, I found out they’d given my room to someone...
Rude front desk staff. Not friendly or welcoming. The hotel seems outdated and is very old school. The room wasn’t cleaned that well either as there was water spots and dust. There was a try hard feel from the staff and they acted aloof, not in favor of the guest. I was unfortunately not impressed one bit and wish I would have stayed elsewhere for the price.
Good location and a nice rooftop bar. The hotel seems a little old style-wise and could use some updating.
Nice stay. Good location. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The room was very spacious, but the facilities were extremely old. The doors, carpets, and bed frame were all in an antiquated red color, and the hallway felt a bit eerie. The bathroom only had soap, no shower gel, and the water pressure was very low. However, the air conditioning worked perfectly. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to Union Station, just a ten-minute walk away....
The hotel is conveniently located 500 meters from the subway station and 50 meters from the bus stop. Many attractions, like Olvera Street and Little Tokyo, are within walking distance, making sightseeing a breeze. The lobby on the ground floor offers complimentary brewed coffee, tea bags, and hot water 24/7, though milk is not provided. They allowed us to check in over an hour early, and no deposit...
The room was spacious and clean. Given the area, I was a bit concerned about safety, so it's best to avoid walking around at night. During the day, it was perfectly fine. I'm very satisfied.
## Cleanliness The room was cleaned and tidy. However, it's a bit old, which might bother some people. ## Location It's about a 10-minute walk from Union Station, which is convenient when coming from the airport. However, it's advisable to be careful when walking around at night. ## Service There was complimentary tea at the front desk. There was also a water dispenser near the guest room elevators...
This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a five-minute walk from Union Station, which is also conveniently close to where my Western tour group disbanded. All metro lines are accessible from Union Station. The cleanliness was impressive, although the decor felt a bit dated. However, it had everything I needed, and overall, I was quite satisfied. The room was spacious enough.
The room was clean but a bit dated. The staff spoke Chinese and were quite friendly. The location is excellent, right near Chinatown and very close to Union Station.

Clean room, friendly staff, cute breakfast picnic basket, great location for neighborhood walks
Wonderful. Beautiful room but the best thing about the whole experience were the staff, all of whom were kind, friendly and helpful. We've found our new favourite LA hotel!
OK… So, this is about the cutest hotel I have ever stayed in! Was in town for one night to spend NYE with my daughter who lives locally. Starting with the staff checking us in Hector was very accommodating, fun, and knowledgeable of the property and the area. Onto the room… Super cute, vintage style, amazingly clean! The amenities were amazing to even down to the toilet toiletries! The soaps, lotions...
Staff were very friendly. LOVELY room. Cottage theme through the lobby and the room were great. I also enjoyed their breakfast basket and cookies at night. Only down side I can think of is that the room can be a bit small but overall, I'd come back and stay here again if I'm in LA.
Small and Mighty!! The rooms and outside areas are lovely. Curated for comfort and elegance, down to earth in an upscale and lovely manner. The staff was exceptional!! Hector, Louis, everyone was warm and welcoming.
The room is beautifully decorated. It’s comfy, cozy and clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Location location location. Beautiful room with amazing views. I upgraded my stay to the 1 bedroom suite. Having a separate living room was such a score. Love the historical elements left on the property. The staff was amazing. Including house keeping. They have the cutest beach cruiser bikes that you can rent for free. I can on and on about this property. 10/10 highly recommend.
Everything as I had expected was directly there. They had free bikes and I enjoyed a two hour ride. ((They needed more larger helmets)
Couldnt have asked for a better stay, beautiful view, such a cool vibe and feel just outside the front doors. Room was spotless, bed was super comfortable, would definitely go back again.
Room spotless, bed comfortable and Tess at reception was wonderful. Altogether a very pleasant stay. Thank you
Very clean and accomodative folks. They also provide bike, skateboards and umbrellas. $55 for parking seems a little high though. The beach access is amazing!
A secret gem in the heart of Venice. Located right in the middle of the action, yet quiet and clean.

We stayed at a room facing the main road. Too noisy as the hotel is a bit older and windows as well. We heard every passing car, all night long. Minimal hotel with minimal service. Location was good. Few mins. walk from the beach. Also a bit much money for what you get…
The desk clerk was friendly and efficient. We liked the room a lot, and the hotel’s location was perfect for walking around the town.
Amazing location. Amazing service. The room was large, clean, and styled very well. The common areas were also beautifully decorated. The service was second to none, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate our family anyway they could. I would 100% recommend and stay here anytime we're visiting from Australia.
The staff was courteous and willing to accommodate requests. They even offered to switch our room since the Wi-Fi was weak or not working from within our room. The person at the front desk had no issue when we wanted to leave our car in the hotel parking for a little longer after our checkout while we went to have lunch. It's a modest place, well-located and spacious rooms. Everything was clean. In our room, the street cars were loud after 6am.
Overall was a good stay. Could have been cleaner in the rooms... Staff was nice and accommodating, ac/heat worked like a charm, large rooms, plenty of parking. For the price I would say it was worth it.
The gentleman that did the check in was kind and straight forward with instructions and info. The room was roomier than anticipated, but very outdated. The bed was decent, but the room was quite cold and the blanket on the bed was useless. I had to sleep with a hoodie on. We had a great stay. The front desk was super nice and helpful, and room was clean. Not to mention location. Not sketchy at all, close to everything in culver city and easy to find street parking close to hotel. Very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.
Room was a bit small and i couldnt make it really dark to sleep because of the way the window and covering was... so that was a little weird... and also the water didnt get super hot at night... only warm... until more people were using it, i guess, because it was better in the am.
Clean rooms but strong chemical cleaner smell. Hard to air out due to windows not opening. Average comfort bed. Twin size so only good for solo travelers.
Nice little hotel in Culver City. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and bed was comfortable. Would stay again.

Very pleasant neighborhood. Several bus stops nearby. Supermarkets and small restaurants are a 5-minute walk away. The only downside is the breakfast room, which is very small and the breakfast very basic, but apparently it's typically American.
The parking space at the entrance is very narrow. The female receptionist provided good service. The room facilities are just average. Housekeeping was very prompt.
I arrived from the airport around 11am and tried to leave my luggage there until check-in, but they said my room was ready so I was able to check in right away. I was very grateful for this. Within walking distance of the hotel are supermarkets such as Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Target, CVS, and Ralphs, as well as many cafes and restaurants, and the Armand Hammer Museum. The area is also very safe...
Room was not ready 30 mins after check in time Very poor wifi connection A/C located poorly on the floor, takes a while to cool down the room
The location is excellent, 15 minutes walk to UCLA, the surrounding environment is beautiful, the accommodation is quiet and comfortable, the only drawback is that the room is small and the breakfast is simple. If you visit UCLA, this is a very good place to stay, and I will stay there next time.

Good stay clean and convenient , will recommend it for family trips, grocery stores and restaurants nearby with decent choices and prices
Advantages: 1. Relatively convenient as it's not too far from Universal Studios by car. 2. Free parking is available at the hotel entrance until 9 AM if you arrive late at night, and across the street until 10 AM. Disadvantages: 1. Poor sound insulation; you can clearly hear people walking upstairs. 2. Parking inside the hotel is paid; it costs approximately $20-30 USD for a small car.
I was very pleased with the hotel's amenities. There were no unpleasant odors. It felt very clean and tidy. Free hot chocolate and coffee were available at the front desk. Parking was free at the entrance, and we left at 9:00 AM. The only difference was that the location near the highway made it a bit noisy at night.
Always a nice stay!  Very nice people and rooms! We will be back!

The quality is consistently good, the rooms are nice and comfortable, and the view is fantastic, but they've outsourced the valet service to a private company, and the daily fee of 78 USD is excessive. If you don't use the valet service, they won't let you into the hotel's car park either; they tell you to go to the public car park by the beach, which is unacceptable.
Great check in experience - my Ambassador status with Marriott was not only recognized but benefits were offered as well. Friendly staff. Good location walking distance to Venice Beach.
I was given a room for a person who isdisabled. The bed was close to the floor, horrible room. It was obvious that I was not disabled. I stayed here in November 2025. I wasn't very impressed with the room overall because I felt that the room was a bit dirty. I wiped surfaces down and found that there was a lot of dust, dirt, and grime on handles, the remote, etc. I will say that the hotel is clearly freshly rennovated, which is nice, but there's a strong odor in the halls that doesn't do it justice. Nice, clean hotel! My room didn’t have any hidden passages! Reception was cool, calm and collected. I could hear everyone moaning at night and the cars in the road but other than that as a solo female traveller this was a good option!

Small and quaint hotel, clean and comfortably appointed, essentials, soaps, creams, coffee, tea, linens, all in room. Actual staffed lobby, easy valet parking, nice walkable location. Only negative bathroom “door” is a bifold, not very private, right next to bed. If traveling as three or 4, there is a sitting room with sofabed- but that bathroom “door” is an issue. Very polite staff/valet.
Room was great. Housekeeping service would’ve been nice maybe once while i stayed.
Good area to explore LA. Staff were great ( shout out to Gwynn for the ice ) I think it would benefit from some attention from corporate office - needs some basic maintenance and upkeep ( walls dinged up , scuffs and upkeep ) But overall a great location with good acess to public transportation . It would be nice if there were some partnership with the restaurant inside the building …
The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, the rooms were spotless, and the atmosphere was relaxing from the moment I checked in. The location was convenient for exploring the area, and the amenities made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting
This is a quaint little hotel. The staff were extremely friendly. It is very clean. The roof top terrace was peaceful and quiet even knowing there was a lot of traffic traveling by the hotel. I loved the valet. One in particular was extremely accommodating. I will definitely stay here again.
The code system for entering the building as well as my room malfunctioned repeatedly. There was no cleaning of the room, ie garbage removal, towel replacement, even though I stayed for five nights. The only thing I can say is you most likely will be disappointed as the room does not resemble to the pictures posted by them. I would not recommend nor would I stay here again. Maybe for the price, the quality is okay but all these hotels keep posting pictures that are not the same as the real thing.
The hotel was under renovation, but the finished floor we stayed on was beautiful. Our room was very updated, comfy, and had a beautiful bathroom. The beds were very comfy and the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the underground parking and the area felt safe. I will absolutely be staying here again in the future!
They are doing renovations! This hotel is not the most convenient area and there are no restaurants or bars so make sure to grab food before you check in. The parking is cheap at only $15 which is nice and they have many spots underground. However, for some reason it smells like oil or gas down there. They do have a 711 and a liquor store within walking distance. The area is quiet. Rooms were nice...
Good value for money, but....it smells
