Hotel Figueroa, Unbound Collection by Hyatt, Los Angeles1 / 30
8.3
Los Angeles, 939 S Figueroa St (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
My stay at Hotel Figueroa was just okay. Nothing bad, but nothing special either. Overall, it was fine but not memorable.
The hotel's exterior and interior had a lovely vintage feel. We rented a car and the parking lot next to the hotel was conveniently located.
Located in the heart of Los Angeles, 5 minutes walk from the Lakers home court
Located in DTLA, it is more convenient to drive around Los Angeles, but the valet parking provided by the hotel is not cheap. It is recommended to find a parking space by yourself. Finding a parking space requires patience and a lot of driving around. I like the hotel’s swimming pool~
The room is dark and much more crowded than it looks in the pictures.
The design is quite stylish, but a bit eerie, more like a vampire hotel style, and the guests are all very fashionable, avant-garde, and even pioneering. If you have a strong personality, you can try it, but if you are normal, forget it. The area doesn't feel that safe at night.

The room was decent, quite spacious by American standards. We were able to open up one large and two small suitcases without a problem. The location is excellent, right next to UCLA, with many restaurants nearby, and it's a very safe neighborhood. The hotel lobby is beautiful, and they offer a complimentary glass of wine every evening – I personally prefer the white. The hotel's own restaurant also...
Great hotel, great location in relation to UCLA
First time staying in this hotel in LA! Decent and great location! Cleanliness is not bad (compared to a lot of hotels in LA) and concierge's very helpful and friendly.

The community around the hotel is clean and safe, the room facilities are complete and comfortable, although the room is not big, the service provided is still good, such as free taxi within 3 kilometers. There are churches and Hammer Museum nearby, and it is not far from Beverly Hills.

The room (two Queen Beds for five nights) is very comfortable with a small balcony to enjoy a cup of coffee. The vibe is so chillax. The food is gorgeous at the Front Yard restaurant where I did enjoy brunch, dinner and even takeaway as well. Staff there are of very good customer service as well. Friendly reception. Beds are comfortable and hotel is clean.
Great location, amazing staff, beautifully clean and fab pool vibe x
The hotel's shuttle bus is very convenient. They also thoughtfully arranged parking for us to leave after we finished our trip to the Universal Studios, which was great.
Very beautiful hotel, very holiday feeling, the green outside the window is very comfortable to look out. There is a trolley to and from Universal Studios, which is super convenient

The bedding was a bit too soft, and the service attitude was just okay. After the room was supposedly cleaned, I found nail clippings on the bed and the carpet was dirty. The sheets were also poorly made. However, it's conveniently located for school matters, and there aren't many other options around.
Excellent facility in nice neighborhood. Parking is very confusing. An “enter here for registration on wall might be helpful.
The conference center is located on the UCLA campus, and within walking distance of Westwood village. The people at the front desk were helpful, the room was well appointed, clean, and fairly new. The service at the bar was fast. Overall it was a great experience, there was a good room rate when I booked making it less expensive than the W hotel, with larger rooms, and comparably appointed.
This trip's stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent, making transportation very convenient, and the surrounding amenities are complete. Had an amazing experience at Solaire Resort Entertainment City. The place is elegant and well-maintained, with excellent service from the staff. The rooms are comfortable, the amenities are top-notch, and the overall atmosphere feels truly luxurious. Definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy!
Great hotel with luxury rooms and amenities.
The location of the hotel is OK, but there is no parking lot. The breakfast is simple and the dishes are the same for 5 days.
The room was spacious, the largest hotel I've found in the area. The location was also convenient and safe. There's a restaurant downstairs with good food, especially the cheesecake. However, there were two minor drawbacks: the sliding window on the balcony wasn't soundproof, so traffic noise could be heard at night. The shower had no door, so water easily leaked out, leaving the floor wet.
This hotel is very good. The rooms are spacious and bright, comfortable and clean, luxurious and atmospheric. Each room has a balcony and outdoor seats, where you can enjoy the city view. Breakfast and dinner are both delicious. The hotel staff are very responsible, warm and thoughtful. If I have the opportunity to come again, I will choose this hotel again.
Very good experience, the surrounding is quiet and peaceful, there are not many security issues, but there are some **** It is about 5-6 kilometers away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. You can run or take a taxi to go there

Clean and great service. Convenient stores are nearby. Had a pleasant stay overall.
The service was perfect. And the staffs were really kind and funny. The location was so good to go all way to los angeles places. Highly recommend.
We live in far east , comparatively the hotels (including Marriott) the breakfast spread is quite vast , a lot more options to eat. But we did not get the same in Marriott Beverly Hills. It was manageable though. If the cost allows the hotel to make it better , the guest might be more happier and satisfied.
Hotel breakfasts in the US are usually quite basic, so I generally don't recommend booking with breakfast included. This hotel, however, was even more bizarre: guests who had breakfast included were still charged an extra $10 per person as a 'table fee.' On top of that, the bathroom was tiny!
The room was great! For this price and location in Beverly Hills, it's an excellent deal. The environment is also very pleasant, surpassing most hotels in the US.
Overall, the experience was a bit disappointing. There was no toilet paper in the room when we arrived, and it took a long time for it to be delivered. Parking was $70 a night, and we were double-charged by both the parking attendant and the front desk staff. This issue hasn't been resolved yet. My overall impression is just so-so.

Hotel Bel-Air - Dorchester Collection, Los Angeles1 / 30High rating
9.5
Los Angeles, 701 Stone Canyon Road (18 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I should've posted this long ago, but I have just discovered it in my drafts folder. I’ve stayed at the Beverly Hills Hotel whenever in LA over the past 35 years. I absolutely love it. The incredibly welcoming Mr Steve Boggs who is the director of global guest relations for the hotel told me that I must pay a visit to the Bel-Air. Given that my wife and I are well acquainted with Dorchester group hotels...
Our stay at the Hotel Bel-Air was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the level of care and attention to detail. Highlights from our visit: Arrival & Service: Landon at valet was incredibly welcoming and efficient, making a busy job look easy. Danny then settled us into our room, demonstrating the tech controls and lighting the fireplace. The Front Desk:...
I only intended to stay one night, however my other accommodation was disastrous, so I called the hotel at around 11:30 pm asking if they had my room available before my original arrival date, to which the gentleman said they did. I forgot his name, but he was a tall gentleman who I believe said he was a manager and works the overnight. They were kind enough to extend the original rate I booked and...
The pink palace is like a quiet oasis in the middle of Beverly Hills. You’ll feel tranquil and like you’re escaping once you enter Bel-Air. The walk across the bridge and the swan lake are a great way to be welcomed and the staff make it even better. The complex is shockingly large, with a great mix of rooms and walking paths. The rooms are clean, modern and high tech, and housekeeping is great. The...
Emma at the front desk was wonderful! She was nice, thoughtful and helpful. The property is beautiful and tranquil. The rooms are elegant, spacious and comfortable. Finally the food was consistently excellent. Our new favorite hotel in LA.
Started visiting the hotel in the 1990s and made it a point to travel to LA often just to stay here. After losing its way for a few years, the hotel is back strong. The food isn’t quite as good as it once was and the gardens aren’t as strikingly beautiful since they got rid of the hydrangeas and the bougainvillea, but the charm has returned and the service was perfect. This will always be a special...

Our favorite hotel in LA. Pool and food are amazing!
This place offers an amazing location, making it convenient and enjoyable for visitors. The staff members are very good, always friendly, attentive, and helpful, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout their stay. The combination of a prime location and excellent service creates a truly satisfying overall experience.
The lighting was a bit dim, and the light switches were confusing and hard to figure out. Adjusting the hot water was also a bit tricky. Overall, it was still pretty good.
Atmospheric decor with a nice vibe and super helpful staff. Destination fee is charged in addition to room fee.
The location is excellent, the facilities are top-notch, and it's very new. However, once you arrive at the hotel, you'll need to pay several tens of dollars per day. Please note this.
The staff are friendly and the cafe on the first floor and rooftop pool are great. It's in an affiliated building and is small, but it has a working room which is very convenient. Be careful about the price as there will be additional payments and destination fees charged on site.

I didn't stay here but I ate at Dante's on the 9th floor. I went for the $10 martinis and did not disappoint. The view above Beverly Hills while sipping a martini was an experience. This is where the stars dine because we saw J.Lo just causally eating at booth with a friend. Great service!
One of the most unique and memorable experiences I’ve ever had. I had the opportunity to stay here, and the property is absolutely stunning. I had a wedding at the Maybourne back in October 18, 2025. And I have to say that it was an absolutely amazing venue overall. It is absolutely beautiful from the terrace to the indoor ballroom. I would highly recommend getting drapes as it makes a huge difference in achieving a “lavish” feel for the ballroom. We had multiple hotel rooms that weekend, as well as a rehearsal dinner at the Terrace restaurant...
I did not stay here, I went to the Dante, on the rooftop for dinner. The vibe was cool, the view was great, and the food was pretty good as well. Its in Beverly hills but I wouldnt say its a great location. Its kind of hiding in the crowd of other buildings. But it is a nice hotel by the looks of it.
Amazing customer service !! Everyone is so wonderful and provided excellent customer service. What a great experience spending a weekend at this luxury hotel. So clean and meticulously decorated! Their food quality and views are perfect! Their spa is so special with the magnesium hot tub and services that they offer. I highly recommend!
Overall a fine stay, but there were lots of little misses, that shouldn’t have happened at a property of this caliber: Mini fridge did not work and one of the bathroom outlets was broken. During turn down service toilet paper wasn’t replaced, hand towel was removed and not replaced, used glassware was left.

Helpful concierge. The location is good with bus stop and car rental. The hotel feels safe and just next to comedy store. Check on the carpark price at hotel before renting a car.

I chose this hotel because I was going to a show. It's also very close to the airport, which made getting there and back super convenient. There's plenty of parking space. Right across from the hotel, there's a shopping mall and supermarket, both within walking distance. Hygiene: Clean.
The best part was the location. It was next to a mall, making it convenient for shopping and dining, and it was also close to the airport, which was convenient. Our experience at this hotel was extremely mixed. I’ll list the good points first, and then mention issues we had, as they were quite significant. Pros: The location was great, close to the airport (about a 12 minute drive) and also right next to a huge mall with a Target and many restaurants, several grocery stories, Starbucks, etc. Super convenient for flying in/out of LAX and also getting around...

We arrived very late night on Nov 30th, 2025. The staff on duty was not very happy. No welcome, no greeting, rather cold… making me a little uncomfortable. It is completely different from other staff I encountered during the two stays in the hotel.
Very close to USC just short walking distance to reach the university. Good service.
The hotel is very near to USC and it make parents easy to settle their children schooling stuff. Everything is good except the overnight parking is very expensive at $40.
Excellent service and great location for LAFC close to BMO

All the staff members are super friendly and helpful. Close to Hollywood sites. I can see why ear plugs are in the room. The walls are paper thin. Could hear every conversation in nearby rooms and every door closing, every car driving by. Couldn't get the coffee maker to work.

Despite being close to tourist spots, it's surprisingly quiet, a nice escape from the usual hustle and bustle and the homeless population often found near such areas. The hotel's location is decent, but the rooms are generally small. My double room felt really cramped; there was no space to open my 28-inch suitcase, and even a 24-inch one would have been a struggle. We both loved the hotel. It was very clean. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The complimentary Uber service is very nice too! Thank you again!
Close to UCLA. Rooms are clean and comfortable but Near the feeeway, can be noisy. Require valet parking $45 per day, expensive and inconvenient. Breakfast a the best, only pay tip.
5 minutes from Getty & 20 minutes from Rodeo. Great location. 4-5pm complimentary wine, 4-6pm happy hour, and complimentary breakfast at 17th floor. You can enjoy sky line of a whole West Hollywood & LA.
The $45 parking fee is way too expensive; you can find free street parking nearby. Just remember to take your valuables with you to prevent theft. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and any issues I had were quickly resolved by Ctrip. Be aware that there are homeless people in the vicinity, so stay safe.
The room was spacious and very clean. We were also offered a free early check-in. The hotel environment is excellent, and they provide a free shuttle to the Getty Center, along with complimentary breakfast. The rooftop restaurant has a nice view. The only drawback is that the room isn't very soundproof, so there was some noise from outside at night.
