For a four-star hotel with a $65 nightly parking fee, the lack of basic in-room amenities like a kettle or coffee maker was disappointing. However it's a solid hotel given the area. The room cleanliness is decent and the amenities are good. It's a solid 3.5. Not sure why they can't put a kettle in the room.

I think hotel desk staff need to be trained in hospitality. Try borrowing an umbrella on a rainy day. When returning it, make sure to tie the string tightly, otherwise they will make a waving motion to instruct you. For years, this hotel was the designated hotel for my company. I don’t feel it’s Hilton level. The rooms are just standard, some are noisy. The service quality varies from a guy for member checkin who was professional and friendly. At normal checkin the service was simply bad and somehow did not like me or probably any customer. For 250 usd a night, it’s not worth it.

A decent hotel in Marina del Rey the rooms are small, but comfortable and appear to have been renovated over the last few years. The hallway looks a bit dated and some of the infrastructure such as the elevators certainly look quite dated. They have a nice pool and a bar area to watch games. The location is very convenient with a 10 minute Uber or drive to Venice.
