I'm giving a two star review only because it wasn't the worst place that I've ever stayed in Miami. My friends and I shared a room here after being "upgraded" by Expedia and thankfully we only booked one night.

About the actual room itself:
My main issue was with the bathroom and how cheap and run down everything looked. The stand that the sink was on was made of cheap particle board and the outer finishing had been ripped off in some places. There was a shoe print on the wall for some reason and some of the hinges on the door were blatantly hanging off. A few of our towels also had some sketchy looking stains on them.

About the staff:
The guy who originally checked us in was nice and helpful and I wished that I had gotten his name. The guy who was working the next morning was not as great. We were going to the beach and the hotel offered a set of beach towels with the reservation. On our way to the front desk we noticed that there was a very simple breakfast of plain bagels, toast, and cereal being served so we each grabbed a croissant. The breakfast apparently wasn't free and the guy at the front desk was very condescending about how we "needed to ask if we could eat breakfast". He essentially treated us like children and it was not appreciated. We also asked to get some more regular towels for our room after we came back from the beach because apparently they don't have any house keeping in the mornings.

I will never stay here again! The person at the front desk at night could have cared less about anything. The floor in our room was coming up and sinking at such an angle that you felt like you were sleeping head down on a hill. Nearly every towel we got was stained in some way. The room was swollen with furniture, with barely enough space to get to the bathroom. Speaking of bathroom; the of the sink area were rusted and the shower handles were corroded and nasty. The bathtub/shower had rust and other things growing. The beds are only provided with a thin silk-like cover over your sheets, until you look and find a thin blanket in one of the drawers, however the blanket provided is stained with what looks like cum stains. The experience at this hotel is one of the worst in my many travel. Never Again.
