Nice enough room for an efficiency, but much like other reviewers did not have hot water in the room for showers. Let the front desk know and they said they would talk to the manager and reverse the resort fee. Never followed through or called us. The water heaters in rooms not working is a known issue, the front desk acknowledged that, so it’s even more disappointing that it has not been corrected.
Also, watch your hotel bar tab, the bartender overcharged us significantly for a drink which we unfortunately did not notice until it was too late.

The hotel is great, close to everything on the hillside. Only the parking in the area is expensive, but there are cheaper options a few minutes' walk away.

Checkin and friendliness of staff (Julie) was great! Only issue from inside room 402 we could hear all outside noises. Room location was not great.

Staff were excellent. Room was amazingly clean and beautiful. Unfortunately, we could hear other guests in the hallway at night, so the walls aren't terribly soundproof.

The hotel is nice. The $100 surcharge for a 4kg dog is absolutely unacceptable and out of line.

A fine hotel with a wonderful and welcoming staff. We were only there for two nights but if I had plans for longer then staying at the Hotel Greystone would be thoroughly enjoyable. The public areas are sleek, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. The rooms themselves are equally modern and well-suited for a real Miami Beach experience. Much of what MB has to offer is very close -- three minutes to the beach, blocks away from good restaurants, and Lincoln Road has lots of shops ranging from drugstores, to tourist needs, to upscale outlets of national brands. Ocean Ave is close by to see the great and historic Art Deco hotels of the past that just barely escaped demolition.
The hotel staff is extremely warm and will take pains to ensure that your time in MB is a great experience. The rooftop pool was fun, as was the terrace room we had with its spiral staircase up to the private sunbathing area and hot tub. A real gem. The only downside for me was across the whole of Miami Beach and that is the incessantly loud music. But the Greystone provided a nice oasis from this vibrant and active area.

Buffet was horrible. Old food, not fresh, warmed up for like hours. The drinks were horrible and the sweets were left in room temperature for hours. But the staff was pretty great.

As a frequent diner of fine restaurants around the world, I can tell you that this restaurant is not what you think fine dining is. These guys are clueless on real customer service. Unnecessary additude. Laughable. Sloppy. Impolite. “Fake Politeness”

Not sure how the reviews are so bad.. have been to most of the best restaurants in Miami and the service here was the best by a mile. Food was good and the staff were all amazing. One of the only restaurants that don't automatically take 20%+ service charge off the bill as well but definitely deserve a good tip.

I am thoroughly disgusted with my NYE experience at this hotel's pool "wet". Only one small poolside bathroom was allowed to be used for over 2000 people. I imagine people staying in the hotel we're going up to there rooms. It didn't even feel like a concert as no one was dancing the entire night. You couldn't expect people to dance because they care more about making money then people enjoying there experience. No joke, there was no dedicated area or dance floor and my girlfriend and I were told to dance between the reserved bottle service tables. At one point I addressed a bouncer because somebody grabbed her multiple times only to be yelled at and escorted out by approximately 7 bouncers out of the club that I agreed to leave on my own after this terrible experience. As I was leaving, a bouncer informed me that he could beat me up and I was shoved by them from behind.
I don't know what this place is like a normal basis, but if you are planning to go for NYE, I STRONGLY suggest anywhere else on earth.
