The March Hotel in Miami Beach

Great, walkable location, but the overall experience fell short. Parking is off-site and my parking fob didn’t work on arrival, with no staff available after 4 PM to help—only text support.

There was a noticeable damp, mouldy smell in the hallway and room, and soundproofing is very poor (you can hear conversations and furniture moving in neighbouring units). Cleanliness was also disappointing: stained bedding and towels, and hairs in the shower even after the cleaner returned.

The manager initially reached out, but follow-up has been difficult and the promised resolutions haven’t been delivered.

Awful experience. Do not stay here. I drove 5 hours to this hotel and upon arrival I was told there was no parking. I called the hotel (who didn’t answer the phone so I had to leave a voicemail). Instead I was greeted 10 mins later with an uninformed agent through TEXT-Not even the courtesy of a phone call- to let me know parking is limited and they were sold out. I asked if valet was available, also no. I was suggested to find a nearby public garage, the one suggested by the uninformed agent had a 5 hour maximum.

Limited parking is NOT mentioned on their website (screenshot attached). the only thing they mention is valet so I figured at a MINIMUM I could pay for valet . I drove around for an hour and a half just to find there’s no parking nearby and couldn’t even go to the hotel. Now I’m driving 5 hours back home at 6 PM. This was an awful experience.

The parking situation is not something a guest should be surprised about upon arrival. This is disgusting.

The only reason I’m giving it 1 star is because of the lady at the front desk, Rochelle. She was as helpful as she can be. if you can’t afford anything else, stay here, but for peace of mind, avoid it. They have no staff after 4pm, it’s all virtual check in, which can be efficient, but they don’t do it well. We waited to long (after a long day of travel) to get a text back. The pics are misleading, the rooms are SMALL. it smells musky like a wet sock. On the 2nd night, our AC broke. it was a nightmare and they didn’t even give us a fan until we requested one. The maintenance did their best, but no one spoke English so we had to call our friend to translate. Having no staff onsite when you have issues often is nuts. They moved us to another room on our final night, which was nice. They also said they’d message us about compensating us for one night, but they still haven’t sent anything. If you want a comfortable place to stay, just book a chain. Not worth it

Checked into the room at 7pm and found the bedding wet! Had to text their virtual front desk to inform them as this property doesn’t have any onsite staff. We were sent a code to a storage room where bedding was supposed to be - but nothing in there but towels.
We stripped the bed and now noticed that the bed was wet from the sheets and the room smelt musky. Texted them again and requested a new room but were told they didn’t have any available. It’s clear that the cleaning staff put wet sheets on the bed. With nobody returning our calls and only communicating through text we decided to leave this hotel and go to a different one across the street.
Mistakes happen but it is how this hotel is handling the aftermath that should scare you away. The employee named Niccolo was rude and intimidating and would only agree to refund our stay if we didn’t write a bad review. I told him the refund should not be contingent on my review. They refused to refund our stay and hung up on me. This is not the way to handle a situation. I would never recommend this hotel.
