This luxury hotel from the 1990s is very old. The facilities are intact but not advanced. If you like classical style, you can consider it. The service is average, and the key is that the calculation is wrong. I may not choose this hotel again at the same price.

The bathroom is well decorated, but the room lacks furniture, no tables or chairs, and no sofas, which is a bit unacceptable as a terrace room. I could only move two chairs from the terrace to put clothes.

The hotel photos are very different from the actual situation, and the service staff are very unfriendly to Chinese tourists! The room is very small and the soundproofing is so poor! The hotel is in a good location, 5 minutes away from the beach. There is an exclusive area on the beach, which is of course not comparable to hotels directly on the beach, but the price/performance ratio is still very high. It is also only a 10-minute walk from Miami's shopping street.

Everything was good. The room was clean, not pico bello clean, but it was clean enough. TV only had the regular channels, no options for Netflix, Amazon Prime or anything, so we had to spend a rainy day flipping through the channels, but overall the stay was very good. Ice machine on the 6th floor is a nice touch, as well as pool and gym. I’d definitely recommend it

The location is convenient, restaurants and bars are within walking distance, you can get to the center by taxi for 10 dollars. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. My room overlooked the main road, it was noisy at times. The hotel has a delicious breakfast and coffee for an additional fee (about 15 dollars). There is a lot of greenery on the hotel grounds and around the hotel.

The Meridian Hotel is very well located, impeccably clean, with lots of vegetation. It has a nice chill-out room and a decorative swimming pool. That said, it is a little overpriced. The staff at the front desk could be friendlier.

I traveled with two kids and searched for hotels with swimming pool. Essex House came up with the pool filter, however Essex House does not have a swimming pool - and the adjacent Clevelander pool we supposedly should have access to was for adults only. I suggest "pool" should be removed from the list of amenities when kids are added to the booking, to avoid very disappointed under age travelers!

A very convenient location, right behind the beach. Friendly concierge staff, smooth luggage storage service. However the room is a bit smelly, which should not happen in a four star hotel.

Very small, old room with very little amenities. The towels were so rough that it left my skin raw. My first night there was a bunch of screaming that kept me up. The only benefit is the beach is across the street. No toiletries offered except for toilet paper. For the proce, this is not worth it. The closet smelled and had a musty odor. We only stayed one night there, didn't have a chance to use their amenities. The room we had want facing a very busy street, so it was pretty loud. They have a bar downstairs that is open 24/7 which is very convenient but also is pretty noisy. No coffee machine or kettle in the room.

This a very nice hotel in an awesome location with a secluded pool outside and access to the beach right behind it. Its decor is straight vintage and has that art deco Miami feel to it. I've never stayed here because I live close enough to Miami that I usually just make a day trip of it. But I love to stop here for a classic mojito and sit at the bar outside by the pool. It's shady and pretty, and makes lovely place to take a break after walking for a while in South Beach.

The main advantage of this hotel is the location. We had a room with two bedrooms and a living room with an open kitchen. The room was clean and equipped with everything you need.
