The room was just renovated with partial sea view. Excellent pool with jacuzzi. Good location- very close to everything. Much recommended

Great location, very close to the beach and the shopping area. The room was clean, but the bathroom was a bit small.

Renovation is great, but bathrooms are tiny! Only one can fit and it would have to be a thin person. Otherwise, the room is good, but walls are thin. There's also a charge for everything. Early checkin was $75, even though a room was ready. Great location and nightly rate is more reasoable than most, so for those reasons I'd recommend staying here

Overall, had a nice stay and can recommend it! The room was just the right size, really nice bed and fairly well equipped. Would've liked some additional amenities and a kettle but got it sent up to the room after a quick request to the front desk.
The immediate vicinity of the hotel has what you might want, a bunch of supermarkets and restaurants and isn't too noisy.
Would've been a perfect stay if it wasn't for the construction ground blocking the view to the ocean (no bigger issue with noise, in case someone would be concerned).
Oh, also the gym present on the premises was much more well equipped than I would've expected and should be enough for the typical gym rat to flex a little bit before going to the beach(not enough for a serious session ofc).

Keebong is hands down the best server I've ever had in my life. He checked consistently on how I was as the meal progressed, gave great conversation and was overall extremely positive friendly and polite. The food was a little pricey but the portion sizes, taste, and service made it all well worth it. Can't wait to go back and try the Mac Daddy Pancake challenge

Where to start with this place? It's an insanely expensive diner with regular diner food. I do not get it's appeal at all! Went in one night, sat at the bar, and ordered soup, a grilled cheese sandwich and a drink and it cost me $25! There is nothing special about the atmosphere, the service, nor the food that would separate it from any other run of the mill diner. Their "claim to fame" is the MAC Daddy challenge - eat 5lbs of pancakes and you get your picture on a wall. If you aren't interested in that, save your time and your money and go somewhere else! I get it's Waikiki and they are charging a premium, but this is just a rip off.

The hostess was very nice, the restaurant was clean but besides that it was pretty much down hill. I was going to order a burger but decided not to when I was told they aren't made fresh. I changed to the pulled pork sandwich and my wife got the fish tacos. The Tacos looked nice when they came out but the fish was dry and hard so my wife only ate one of the three. My pulled pork sandwich wasn't much better, I ate most of it but it had no flavor and was fatty.

We were staying at the hotel for several nights and actually ate TWICE here we liked it so much. First and foremost, while I really wanted to do the pancake challenge -- it did not happen for me.
Both times we ate here -- we found the food to be delicious and fresh, with hearty portions -- items we tried: fish tacos, double decker grilled cheese, Fried Lobster Mac & Cheese Bites, Onion Rings. Everything was great. They also do Happy Hour in here, which we took advantage of and indulged in $7 glasses of champagne.
We had Todd as our server the first visit -- he was awesome and drew us a map of all kinds of free fun stuff to do the next day as we were planning our drive around Oahu.

Home of the 5lb Pancake Challenge. Eat it all in 90 minutes and it's free! We failed.
Great Home-style comfort food of all types. They had chicken and waffles, country fried steak to Loco Moco and Fried Mac and Cheese.
Everything comes in generous portions so be prepared to share a plate or bring a huge appetite.
Great last stop for grub after a night in Waikiki. Valet parking available and recommended at this hotel.
