Decent, clean rooms. Helpful and polite staff. Great location for the price!

Honestly don't have any complaints about our stay. Everything is within walking distance for Waikiki. The rooms aren't anything fancy but they're clean, the beds are comfy, and if you're in Hawaii you shouldn't be spending too much time in your room anyways.

Only real drawback is the parking price: $45 per day.

Highly recommend this cute aqua boutique hotel. Complementary coffee and filtered water. Front desk staffing and housekeeping all so very friendly. Absolutely love that they use HAWAIIAN TROPICS in the rooms. Ask for room 924 we had amazing views of Diamond Head and ocean views on the lanai. Small refrigerator in the room with a coffee maker. They also have an ice machine, plus offer laundry. Free street parking around the corner, but check the hours for street sweeping you’ll get towed. Probably my favorite was free entry for two to the Bishop Museum 9am-5pm, and the Honolulu Museum Of Arts 10am-6pm Wednesday-Sunday This is big savings and really worth going. Walking to all my money mall haha (Ala Moana Mall) is so easy and the prettiest end door outdoor mall. There’s a great market on the corner for everything you need. Sunny's Local Grind just around the corner also highly recommend. Have a wonderful time visiting Waikīkī Aloha

My wife and I stayed at Aqua Palms Waikiki for our honeymoon, and the experience turned out to be absolutely wonderful.

When we first arrived, we were placed in a room with two separate beds, which wasn’t ideal for a honeymoon. However, this was quickly turned around thanks to the incredible help of the receptionist, Kasey. She went above and beyond to help us move into an amazing room with a king-size bed and a stunning view of both the city and the ocean. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made a huge difference and set the tone for our entire stay.

Later that same day, after moving into the new room, we were pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful gift from the hotel — champagne and delicious Hawaiian chocolate. It was such a warm and touching gesture that made us feel truly welcomed and celebrated as honeymooners.

The location of the hotel is extremely convenient — close to Waikiki attractions, beaches, and dining, yet peaceful and comfortable. The rooms themselves are cozy, clean, and well-designed, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring the island.

We are deeply grateful to the Aqua Palms Waikiki team for their hospitality, attention to detail, and excellent service. This hotel played a special role in making our honeymoon unforgettable, and we would happily return again in the future.

Cheaper than other hotels in the area, but it’s totally fine. I stayed there on a business trip. The location is great — close to the Convention Center and also not far from the beach, right in between. There are plenty of places to eat nearby (I also recommend the food trucks nearby — just a 5-minute walk away.). The rooms are very nice, though the bathtub was a downside — very old, with a dirty rubber stopper.

I appreciate the cleaning staff. The hallways and doors are quite old and unattractive. On the positive side, there’s a vending machine with snacks in the hallway. When I reported that the coffee machine was broken, they quickly brought out a coffee urn for guests — really efficient service!

The staff aren’t pushy or tip-hungry, which I really value. I appreciate discretion and a peaceful stay. There’s a bus stop right by the hotel, and also a laundry room.

If my goal had been just a vacation, I might have chosen something closer to the main Waikiki Beach, but if you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel and don’t mind walking a bit, I 100% recommend it.

I stayed here, 3 times. The lobby is not impressive. However, the rooms were always great. Don't pay for the ocean view. Get an upper floor rear view, it is n impressive view of the other hotels and the mountains as you sip a beverage on your balcony. The in house Kona coffee provided for your coffee maker is the best I have ever had in a hotel. The lobby is the only thing keeping this from 5 stars.

The room was better than most I've stayed at on Oahu. decently clean, an air conditioner that will actually cool the room, and a fridge. The shower was horrible though. It was the handicap accessible type shower head, in a normal tub. The shower hose was situated upwards, so gravity would make it kink unless you wrapped it around the top post of the holder, and the head would pop out of the holder and spray everything unless you had it wrapped around the hand hold underneath it, then tightly placed in its holder.. Also it was about chest level, and I'm only 5'7. The parking garage was good, plenty of spots to park, I only had to ever go to the second floor. but the passageways were very narrow ,and had blind corners, so watch out for that. I'll probably stay here again, just because I didn't get screwed out of parking. I come here every 6 months for work, always have a vehicle, and need to make it to work on time, and cannot walk far to get to my car, so it's very important to me.

We ate at the IHOP restaurant. Food was great! Waitress was fantastic. We had to wait to be seated because the hostess was fixing problems with a take out order. But once we were seated, it was great!
