Three nights here during Halloween and the NYC Marathon was a slice of heaven. From the front desk, housekeeping, bartenders, and doormen; the staff was friendly and helpful beyond expectation
Ideally located in the Bowery, the entire city is accessible right outside their doors. We love the doormen here who are always welcoming and helpful
Clubby, cozy ambience in public areas. Gorgeously decorated. Room was huge and amenities flawless. Absolutely love this place and will be back.
Couple NYC trip
We spent three nights here and would definitely stay here again. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We also loved the bar and restaurant.
Incredible stay — attentive staff and everyone was so welcoming! The room was divine — cozy and warm. A perfect escape from the city.
Front desk staff was great, friendly and helpful. Room very clean, great bedding and lots of bathroom products.

They dod everything to help me and accomodate me and mainly, I got the real impression that they CARED. I love this place and when you're visiting the greatest city on earth TBA is my sincerest recommendation
The cleanliness was great; someone came to clean every day. Plus, every day (except check-out day), we got a 25 credit for water and snacks downstairs
The hotel location is also super convenient and feels quite safe at night since there are always plenty of people around
Frendly reseption, fast paperwork preparation and keys recieving. Wifi at the room working very well. Very clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee at the room. Tv - lots of chanals
The Hotel had a renovation ! Everything is fresh and comfortable . Area is close to Time square and Central Park ..
This hotel is very good. First of all, it is located around the Manhattan so wonderful.

Staff was great, loved our room. Super clean! Be aware that when they parking is limited, its actually very limited! We were lucky to find the last spot still available!
A good location in a relatively quiet neighbourhood, mit access to Bus stations and to subway stations. I preferred the whole time to ride with the subway from Flushing Avenue
The breakfast was so-so, and the surrounding environment was so-so.
We were promised complimentary breakfast for 2 mornings, only to find out, via a sign in the hotel elevator, that breakfast is only served Sunday-Thursday, and we were booked for an entire weekend from Friday to Sunday
Friendly welcome, large room with kitchen (no equipment), but poor breakfast.
We booked a twin suite that was advertised as having separate bedroom, living room with sofa, cable TV with premium channels and kitchenette. The kitchenette led to the bedroom

We were there to sight see before Christmas and the location was very convenient to get to the subways. Roof top Suite was a perfect spot for my husband and I and our two sons
Although the room price is small, everything is included. Ms. Chen at the front desk is enthusiastic and proactive in her service. She patiently solves the needs of the guests. Thumbs up to her! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
From our check in until our check out, my family and I had a great stay! Hotel is modest but perfect for a few nights in NYC
Loved it here! Convenient & felt safe with my family. Great price! Also walking distance from Golden Diner NY!
We would definitely stay at this hotel again
Small but clean room, very friendly staff. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, ok for day walking but I’d be indoors by dark. Location is within walking distance to attractions like the Brooklyn Bridge and 9/11 Memorial.

I had no trouble sleeping undisturbed through the night. This is very specific but I really liked the soap/etc. pumps installed into the bathroom/shower walls
My girlfriend and I were staying for Spring Break and kept saying how much we enjoyed BKLYN house. The location is great, being about two minutes from the subway, and a great deli w/beer
It was a nice stay. Checkout was at 12 pm so we had enough time. They have hot water, tea & coffee downstaurs for free. It was nice overall
Service was amazing! Both the check-in and check-out processes were easy. The person at check-in was particularly kind and friendly. Yes, it can be loud outside but it's also Brooklyn
Far less wasteful than those little soaps that other hotels have. I would definitely stay again and probably will again soon!
Friendly and helpful front desk. However, room cleanliness could be improved. Would stay again!
We really enjoyed The Franklin. Our room was cozy, clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect for sightseeing, close to subway station and walking distance to Central Park
Our room was small but immaculate, functional and very comfortable. The rooms, hallways, and elevator have amazing pre-war vibes. The people who work there are so welcoming and helpful
As an IHG member I stayed at this property for the first time. The hotel provided just what I was looking for. a clean, comfortable and cozy experience during my stay
The location was very important and this property met my needs. 2 min walk to Sturbucks, 5 min walk to Whole Foods and 15 min walk to Lanox Hill Hospital
And staying on the upper east side is much, much nicer than staying in Midtown (which is easily accessible by the 6 Train which is steps away)
It was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had a nice shower with good water pressure. I felt very safe in this quiet, lovely hotel
It was relatively quiet, clean, and a really great location for our first time in NYC! There’s a variety of food places around (a ton of them within a 10 min walk), easy to get everywhere as there are subway stations very close, and felt pretty safe as well
The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the majority of the staff provided outstanding service. Unfortunately, our initial check-in experience was impacted by one staff member who was noticeably rude and condescending
Definitely an older hotel, so furnishings and that are a bit dated/old/damaged to a degree but nothing that really impacts the overall stay
You still have everything you need and we were really only there to sleep anyways
The lobby is not very welcoming, more like a motel. its all a bit tired, the plastic flowers on the hall landing onwards. The facicilties are basic, but clean. My tap leaked. Minimal toiletries.
Aside from this incident, the remaining staff consistently demonstrated professionalism and made every effort to ensure we felt welcomed throughout our stay! Additionally, we greatly appreciated the beautiful view from our room!
Besides the location and view,
even though it's a high-rise building, there were no issues using the elevator. The room was spacious enough for my luggage, and
the washer and dryer were very convenient
The surrounding area boasts vibrant shopping and dining options, is safe for nighttime outings, and is conveniently located near subway and bus stops. The rooms are small but offer stunning views
Also, there was no electric kettle, so I requested one, but the one I received was rusty inside, making it unusable. Despite a few shortcomings, I still recommend this hotel
It was a double, not a queen (it was listed, but I didn't see it). I'm not sure of the exact size of the single bed, but it definitely felt smaller than my bed at home
Located in Midtown Manhattan, the hotel is within walking distance of landmarks such as Central Park, Times Square, the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), and Broadway
The room was on a high floor, very quiet and clean, everything was great. The bed was very comfortable, perfect for jet lag. The staff were friendly and helpful
The water pressure was great! I had never stayed here before but I had read the reviews and I'm glad to see that the reviews were correct - this is a good place to stay and I will gladly stay here again!
Room was always clean at the end of the day, the staff were nice, and we loved the location - walking distance to a lot of great food options and not far from the subway
Clean, spacious room with quick access to the subways and both Chinatown and little Italy. We would stay here when visiting NYC again
The staff was friendly, the common areas and room spotless. The bed was great! In Chinatown and 10 minutes from Little Italy.
Very quiet! Staff was friendly. As others have said, it is somewhat dated but rooms are a good size for NYC.
This place was clean, spacious (by NYC standards), the check in was easy and the staff was courteous
The staff were welcoming upon our arrival and check-in was quick. We found our room spotless and appreciated the complimentary gifts such as the water bottles and the toiletries
our stay here was great, it was only for one night, for a concert at Barclay center. The front desk agent was amazing, super friendly, talkative, knowledgeable
The only issue with the room was the malfunctioning steam iron. Beyond that, the elevator would take considerable time to make it to the 5th floor
Just wish there were some nice restaurants in walking distance but overall, would def stay there again
All in all, though, it was a great place for the price point—good night’s sleep in a spotless room
Room was very clean lovely good prepared the staff wasn't friendly but could pass very small parking lobby stinks from wheed

Yes the carpets in the common areas could use a cleaning, but this property is in midtown Manhattan and had tons of traffic. No complaints at all! Staff is really friendly, housekeeping is efficient
I've seen some poor reviews of the property. We stayed for a week in 1603, a 35th street facing room
Nice place to stay in Manhattan. Very courteous and clean. Continental Breakfast is good. Close to many sites. About a block from Macy's. Compared to other Hotels you have good sized rooms. Not small.
Great, central location! The room is showing some wear but it's clean and comfortable. The king bed is nice! Bathroom fan, at least in my room, is very loud and annoying. Shower pressure is really nice
The hot breakfast portion was not very good. ended up just eating oatmeal every morning. The location to MSG and other attractions, and to the subway is what i like the most
The location and affordability are key, and rooms were pretty clean (bath tub had some stains). That's all we really needed for our short-notice two night stay, so my expectations were met

The folks running the Belnord Hotel were friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small, just large enough for the bed, two small night stands and one person to walk around it at a time
But, your in NYC so it's not a big deal. The amenities included a rooftop outdoor area that was really nice. Next to the outdoor rooftop area was a kitchen that included free coffee and tea and a snack machine
You can sit on the toilet and literally brush your teeth in the sink at the same time. I like to multitask so I enjoyed that. The location is safe and near everything
I booked this bc I couldn't do hostiles while traveling with my mother. For a whole hotel room, the price point is great. Everything is clean and looks newly renovated. no bad smells, comfortable temperature
If you want a quaint inexpensive upper west side room, this is the place. The rooms are tiny so if you’re a big person this may not be the place for you
Had a lovely stay here for 7 nights. Facilities are fairly basic but the hotel is very clean and comfortable, and great value compared to other hotels in NYC. Free coffee/tea/hot chocolate 24/7
Americana Inn was having work done so we were sent to sister hotel Belvedere where we were upgraded to king size bed with private bathroom. Fabulous! View from top floor was great.
This an absolute five star for its price range, it is very affordable with an excellent location walking distance from times square. The staff is very kind and respectful
The rooms don’t have a private bathroom but does have a sink. This wasn’t a problem for us since there are many restrooms available which are very clean
everything is ok except i can hear the noice out the hotel. the widow is not sound proof i have to wear my earplugs while sleeping :(
Excellent service! Realised I left my AirPods in the room after checkout and they managed to find them under the bed!! Great location as well
It was nice that the bathroom was clean, and I didn't run into other guests during my stay. The staff are kind.

I would definitely stay here again, so close to Katz deli and so many other restaurants. Great bathroom. Clean room. More space in the room than other hotels in the area.
Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. Great location close to subway and easy to get around
It was such an amazing stay. It was in a great location. Found our new favorite hotel to stay at in the city.
Clean rooms and comfortable beds! This area has so much to see so the Redmond was perfectly located for us.
Perfect location and helpful staff!
Atendentes simpáticos. Ótima localização, próximo ao metrô. Única parte negativa é que o tamanho do quarto é muito pequeno, bom para 2 pessoas. Já para 4 pessoas fica bem apertado.

Much bigger than expected! Three of us fit comfortably in two beds - one twin and one full. It was a little too warm for me but I couldn’t change the temperature. The bedding was sparkling clean and looked relatively new
The towels were white and clean …. Great find right in midtown!
Midtown West Hotel is a decent choice in NYC. The rooms were quite nice and the hotel's location was really handy for getting around. The service was alright, but didn't detract from an otherwise pleasant stay
Definitely recommend it for its good rooms and central spot
Unfortunately, the heat was on full blast in the room and we had no control over it in the room. The bathroom was so small you couldn’t even stand in front of the sink. Convenient location, but not a great place
Basic, clean, great and seemingly safe location. No elevator and staff don't offer to help so will need to carry your own luggage upstairs so only for fit and able people to stay or have minimal luggage
Over the past 10 years, Wythe hotel has become a beloved classic. This must have been my 10th or 12th stay and it just gets better and better. Beautiful spacious rooms with incredible views of the New York skyline
Absolutely a wonderful experience. Had my daughter’s wedding there and stayed two nights. From soup to nuts it was amazing. The venue was beautiful, the rooms were great, everyone was so accommodating
Absolutely loved my stay at the Wythe Hotel! The room was beautiful, the staff incredibly kind and attentive, and every detail, from design to service, made the experience feel special. Can’t wait to come back!
Screening room after party for Karaoke was a big hit. Brunch at bar blondeau topped the wedding off
I loved everything about this hotel. The 2 restaurants, friendly staff, great location, the high ceilings in the room, the old beams, brick walls, Manhattan skyline views from the 6th floor bar, the huge shower....
The hotel was beautiful, immaculate and the restaurant food delicious. The bed was SO comfortable ….especially the sheets. If I were to stay in Brooklyn again I would definitely stay there.

We put a towel on the floor to help with the water inevitability landing on the floor and it was manageable
I stayed at Hotel Shocard for a week and, after reading some previous reviews, I’ll admit I arrived feeling quite apprehensive. However, I can honestly say I had a completely positive experience and zero complaints
The room size was absolutely perfect for two people — especially by New York standards. It was comfortable, well laid out, and gave us enough space to properly settle in for the week without feeling cramped
For the price we paid, the value for money was genuinely excellent, especially in New York where hotel costs can be eye-watering. If you’re feeling nervous because of past reviews, don’t be
Cleanliness was spot on: fresh linens, spotless bathroom, and no issues whatsoever with water, heating, or facilities during our stay. The staff were friendly and professional throughout
We experienced none of the issues mentioned in some older reviews — no flooding, no water problems, no alarms, and no housekeeping concerns. Everything felt well managed and organised

The location is unbeatable, there are so many great food spots and shops within walking distance. The area was really lively and packed with people on the weekend, if you’re into nightlife this is the spot for you
Beautiful & cozy room on the 11th floor. We had a corner room with views of East River & Empire State Bldg (facing North) Close to all amenities, bars, restaurants and subways. Alway love staying in the LES
We were on the 5th floor and were able to hear noise from the streets (mostly cars honking at eachother) and the rooms are pretty tiny, but this is NYC so you can’t really complain about that too much
The service, location, and views are easily 5star. And my wife was thrilled to see "bath and bodyworks" shower gel and lotion in the room. If i come back to NYC this is where i will stay
Loony was charming, a total Lower Eastside vibe. Staff was friendly & welcoming
Bathroom inside the room was a plus. I would stay here again in a heartbeat
We loved our stay in this hotel, the staff were so friendly and approachable and the room had everything we needed for a few nights stay. We were thankful for the lockers at reception as they were great for our final day
Pleasantly surprised by how spacious the suite was. Will definitely be back if I need to be in Tribeca.
TL DR: only get this place if you only care about location, have reasonable independence, want privacy, and DO NOT NEED HOTEL AMENITIES. Full review:
The main reason to book this hotel would be for its location
Room was fine, location was great. They didn’t charge the sheets once whilst we were there, didn’t restock room amenities like coffee or toilet roll a few times - my husband had to ask where to get it himself
The cleaner threw away food/snacks we had brought in which was annoying as we hadn’t even checked out. For the price we paid and considering we booked this for our honeymoon, we expected a lot better
Its location in Tribeca is awesome. A number of destinations, particularly, wall street, the Brooklyn bridge, and the world trade center memorial, are walking distance

I had a very late check in and the property was able to accommodate my arrival in a timely manner. There are mentions of room being too small and poor noise damping but considering the price, i have no complaints
The room was clean, the mattress perfect. Loved that it had a good sized refrigerator, a microwave, coffee maker, two mugs, and two plates. The location is great, very close to the subway, buses, and shops.
I arrived late and left early, so I didn't see any staff, but the room was clean and in good shape and the instructions were clear. There was a little noise from the nearby subway, but it wasn't a problem
Overall, it was clean, convenient and affordable in such an expensive city. I'd recommend if you're a solo traveler looking for a price friendly crash pad
When compared to other hostels like lodging in NYC, it had the basic amenities that most are missing. V, air conditioner and private bathroom
It was clean, spacious, and the staff was very helpful! No parking attached, so be mindful if you are traveling with a car. Only a few blocks away from both commuter trains and subway stations
