Sorry The upstairs pool area is lovely and the view and sunset were wonderful. Also the doorman were helpful with direction and with the elevator
Excellent location in Williamsburg. Nice bar and restaurant options. Rooms are on the smaller side but are very nice and have everything you need (fridge, safe, hair dryer, clothes steamer, coffee making kit)
The breakfasts were excellent, and the room was very comfortable. Unfortunately the pool was closed and the rooftop bar appeared to have a 70's disco in it, so we didn't hang out there for too long
We stayed here as a family and had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything felt well taken care of. Great value for the price and easy for family travel.”
The room was spotless, bed perfect and bathroom and amenities on target! The room was small and cozy and we had a lovely stay!
I’ve stayed multiple times and would return

This was my first time in New York and the location of the hotel was perfect to get around and many restaurants in the location. Thank you for your excellent service and I will tell others and I will be back
The location is great, about a 15-minute walk to the Rockefeller Center and a 29-minute walk to Central Park. The area is relatively safe and not noisy, and the breakfast was good
I thought it was a bit old, but upon entering, the facilities were surprisingly clean. And the location was excellent, so I was very satisfied. I plan to stay here again.
The hotel is in an excellent location, cost-effective, the room is small but clean, there is no hot water, and there is a self-service laundry room
OMG the food in New York, you can die for - Yummy to my tummy!💞
I'd definitely consider staying here again

Dinner He’s extremely kind, welcoming, and friendly, which is something as someone from California was a little bit nervous to not have experienced. Him and the other hotel staff truly made this stay amazing
Good thing the executive lounge was open all day, so breakfast, lunch, and dinner were covered. We booked two executive rooms and stayed for 20 days, spending almost 300,000 in total
The cleaning staff made sure our room was spotless. Every time we left the room and even the complementary breakfast in the morning was really good for a complementary breakfast
We had a great stay at The Evelyn! Our first stop for NY and everything had a great vibe; the rooms were beautiful and the Tusk Bar was the perfect way to unwind
It was terrifying, absolutely terrifying. The prices in the US are just unbelievably high
I would definitely recommend your stay here, especially someone that might be nervous to travel to Manhattan because they truly do make the stay amazing. Made my birthday special as well, thank you

Was so genuinely surprised by how amazing my experience here was! I came up for a girls trip and it was one of my friend's birthdays and the staff went above and beyond to provide us with things to make it even more special! From the balloons, champagne, and cake, to the wonderful assistant front desk manager Saloua who basically looked after us our entire stay, it made me feel so welcomed and prioritized
The hotel is in a great location and was super convenient to get to all of the fun tourist spots we wanted to conquer this weekend! The room was adorable and the overall vibe and aesthetic of this place is absolutely lovely
And, personally, traveling to JFK from California, we hit part of the late January storm causing popular delay! The hotel did the late arrival, over the phone with a return email. The driver knew where it was and said, "
Bus boys who "have the waiters backs" and front desk commanders that say things like, "You know our supervisor is here and she can untangle that for you; she's great. What? I was amazed at the performance of everyone
At the planning, start of the trip, and at many times during the experience, the hotel would gain sensational marks. Everyone that I encountered had wonderful comments about their stay
The interior is stylish and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful with everything, from sightseeing recommendations to arranging our airport transfer

This hotel has an amazing location, it was very convenient to walk around many places. The room is good and has all the necessary things in it. It is silent and has a great bed
Absolutely banger of a deal for the location. The rooms are dated and tiny but clean. Service is phenomenal! and they have a place to store your bags even after you check out
The room is quite spacious, and the cleanliness is acceptable. There's no breakfast provided. It's located near Koreatown, making dining very convenient.
Many places around it to have breakfast and dinner. Walking distance from the biggest Macy's and the train station
The hotel room was a bit small, but its location in Koreatown made it super convenient for exploring the area! The staff were all very friendly, and they even offered free luggage storage on the day of checkout, which was incredibly helpful
Only one thing sad about this hotel is the elevator is taking too long to wait but staff are nice and location is good.

The Lexington brass was nice, food was great & no problems. I'd recommend this hotel for a few days stay
Charming! Me and business partners appreciated the welcome.
We absolutely loved our stay here from start to finish. Everyone was so kind and caring, they went out of their way to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible
The staff was great and provided exceptional customer service. The rooms could use additional detail in cleaning the walls, which had visible dirt, and under the bed, it seemed that they didn't vacuum underneath
The view was disappointing, definitely vary from the pictures vs reality. Clean bed sheets and towels room is tidy, small reception, bug polite and professional staff
Very good location, close to grand central. Quick check in and checkout, everyday change towels. Staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended 👌

Excellent hotel at a reasonable price. My family of four stayed in a one-bedroom suite with a living room, and the rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds, including the pull-out sofa, were perfect
I recently stayed at the San Carlos for the third time in just over a year. I recommend it highly!
The decor was perhaps a little outdated but very clean with all the facilities you might need. We did not eat at the property. We had a most enjoyable stay and very good value considering the location
We really enjoyed our stay at the San Carlos! Our family of 4 stayed a suite with a pull out couch. The room was spacious, affordable and clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming
The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the room that we had was everything that had been outlined in the brochure. The hotel was very neat and impeccably clean
We did not eat at the hotel but the immediate hinterland was well provided with eating places. We would have no hesitation in recommending the San Carlos to anyone visiting New York

It's in a great location, but the surrounding area is quiet, so I think it's a great hotel for a relaxing stay. The room was clean and comfortable.
The hotel has a great location, a quiet place in a busy area, and many places can be reached on foot. Although the hotel facilities are old, they are well maintained and the bedding is comfortable
This is considered a very good hotel in downtown New York City. It's also very safe to walk around at night. It's very close to Central Station, about a 5-minute walk. There's a super delicious breakfast shop next door
Recommended to friends in need
It was our first family trip to New York, so it was reassuring to have staff who could speak Japanese. The hotel has a historic feel, but the rooms were clean and the service was excellent
The hotel I booked for the New York Marathon is within walking distance of the bus meeting point for the departure. It is also very close to Grand Central Station and Times Square. It is clean and has Washlet facilities.

Third stay at the Lucerne. Great as always. Perfect location close to Central Park and the museums. Well maintained, v good housekeeping. Try to get a corner room if going for executive double double room - better layout
Nice hotel. Large room. Very convenient
Breakfast is served at the restaurant downstairs in the hotel and requires an additional fee. In-house guests receive a 15% discount. The subway is quite convenient and the doorman is very enthusiastic to open the door
I lived in New York many years ago. This time I brought my children to play and stayed here again. The price has indeed increased a lot, almost doubling, but it is still the most cost-effective in the Upper West Side
We enjoyed our stay, have recommended the Lucerne to family and friends and will stay there again for our next NYC visit. UPDATE: Since writing that review three years ago we've stayed at the Lucerne many times
We spent four nights at the Lucerne this summer while visiting our daughter, who lives in a shoebox-sized apartment nearby. While the hotel is not luxurious it was clean, well-maintained, quiet and comfortable

I had the most wonderful stay at the Baccarat following a brief stop in NYC after returning from Paris. From the moment I arrived, I was met with genuine warmth and attentive care
The place was beautiful although we sat for 45 minutes before we were ever waited on in the dining area. Apparently yoy were understaffed. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and I would like to say your massage therapist
The room is beautiful, not large, but the bathroom is very spacious and comfortable. They provide a Dyson hairdryer and excellent toiletries
The service throughout my stay was flawless—attentive, thoughtful, and always accompanied by a sincere smile from every member of the team
Breakfast fromroom service was perfection, and the restaurant and bar alone are worth a visit. I left feeling refreshed and pampered

We liked the fact that staff were pleasant, left us alone (which we like) but were there when you needed them for questions etc. when we made requests they were followed through efficiently and effectively by the staff
We have stayed at this hotel a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. The front desk check-in was polite, quick, and easy. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the breakfast was very good
Shout out to the friendly doorman. The one thing we didn’t like was the breakfast that comes as part of the resort/facilities fee of our stay. Doughnuts were a week old and stale
We would happily stay here again
We booked two rooms, and one of them was extremely small. My sister‑in‑law could barely move around the bed due to the lack of space, and the bathroom was also far too small to be considered adequate
I am writing to share my disappointment following my recent stay. Unfortunately, several aspects of the experience fell well below the standard I expect—particularly as a Platinum member

This was our second time staying at the hotel, and the staff remembered us upon arrival The friendliness of the staff , great breakfast at Felice , proximity to PACE universityand ease to Fulton station make this hotel a perfect spot
We even received complimentary fruit and wine for being repeat customers. The rooms are cozy and very clean, and the additional products throughout the room provide anything you may need while staying in the hotel
This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at in Manhattan. The service is fantastic and all guest service members make you feel as though you are staying at a home away from home
Staff was attentive, room was clean and comfortable. Did not notice any amenities aside from a rather bogus Nespresso machine. Felice restaurant was a delight
Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Front desk staff was the friendliest and offered a free upgrade. Room was quiet, cozy, and clean
The staff was welcoming and friendly; very helpful. Room was spotless and lovely. We loved everything about this hotel!

They had a rooftop bar which I thought was really cool, but we never got a chance to go up there because we were so busy exploring everything else in the city, we were so exhausted when we got back to the hotel and it was so late I guess , it was already closed for the night
Super helpful and friendly staff. Close enough to walk to many major attractions including the Empire State, Bryant Park and Time Square but in a more quiet area with plenty of local amenities nearby
I hadn't stayed there in over a year. Chuck greeted me at the door upon my arrival and arranged for my transportation when I left. Barbara was efficient at the front desk. My room was spacious and immaculate
lots of fast food places nearby with great choices to choose from. A reliable laundry place less than 5 mins away. Definitely will be coming back!!!
Without being asked, he came outside the hotel and offered to take a group photo so that all of us could be in the frame. That simple act captured the joy of our gathering
The room was very comfortable, safe and secure. Staff was so helpful and always willing to assist. from the time we arrived to the time we left

New York, 224 West 49th Street (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Facilities: A decent hotel with an excellent location. Times Square is just a few minutes' walk to the right from the exit, and there are many convenient supermarkets downstairs. Cleanliness: It's quite clean
Although the room isn't very large, it's perfectly acceptable. Ambiance: There's also a bar and various atmospheric restaurants
Service: The service is very warm and enthusiastic; they proactively help out, which is great
My only minor complaint was a lack of space to properly store my luggage or all my clothes
A lot of dust in the room. But apart from that it is all good.
The reason why I'm asking about the prices of everything in the hotel is because one day I would love to go but I could tell you that a few of my friends and family went there and they had a great time but they had thought that the prices were a little high but they had fun and they want me to have a good time if I ever go there may the hotel keep on thriving in the Lord's name Amen

This is such a lovely sanctuary with the absolute best staff. The folks that work here are so helpful and engaging, and I always love coming back to the Maritime
Good service and friendly staff. The rooms are a bit small, but comfortable and include all the standard amenities, including a mini fridge tucked away in the closet
Friendly, efficient staff provided a welcoming atmosphere. Location is very central for Chelsea, High Line etc and the breakfast was plentiful. A unique find!
Fantastic hotel, The staff made out stay super special Not noisy at night and super nice size room Being close to Chelsea market was a huge plus
The blue and wood tones are soothing in sharp contrast the grey and black of the city outside. Everything is very thoughtful and beautifully designed. The restaurant/bar is one of the best I’ve been in

From the moment we arrived, the doorman and front desk team greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism. A special thank you to Margaret, who truly made our stay exceptional
Was in NYC for an unexpected family emergency. Julio was the shining light for our very stressful stay. His smile, his compassion, and care made the days feel lighter
From the moment we arrived, they set the tone with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. They were not only incredibly efficient with our luggage, but also proactive, attentive, and sincerely kind
It’s rare to encounter service that feels both polished and personal, but Miguel and Julio strike that balance effortlessly. They are true ambassadors of the hotel and a big reason we will absolutely return to The Surrey
I didn’t get a chance to eat at Casa Tua, their on-site restaurant, but the lounge floor plan was great for entertaining my business colleagues. The room was spacious for New York and very comfortable
They were very attentive and took care of our every need. If you get a chance, I highly recommend staying at Surrey. One of the best Hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at! Thank You !!!

You can keep to yourself, or wander down to the very good bar (there's actually two, and we liked the restaraunt bar best) and chat with many guests who are on their third, fourth or fifth stay at this well kept secret of a place
Really enjoyed stay, fantastic location, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast options were pretty good. The available free walking tour with Sonya was wonderful.
Easy walk from Grand Central, located between 5th & 6th Ave. Quick walk to Rockefeller, Times Square and Broadway. Staff is extremely nice and available. Would stay again.
and the staff were one of the best new york has to offer. from the handsome tall dude during the day w specs ( sorry i cant rem uour name) to daniel in the evening
Amadu (sp) was also a great bar tender, mixing us cocktails at the end of a long day. Nothing was too much, and he really knows his stuff. All the staff were friendly, and attentive
Front desk, lounge and breakfast service was all 5 stars. Only thing that prevents the hotel from being 5 stars is there is a bit of the old hotel smell in the rooms

The hotel is located right off of the park near 6th Ave and is perfect for walking around the village/ restaurants. The hotel itself was very clean yet had an unusual layout with twists and turns inside
The room was clean and adequate yet on the small side. It's a little noisey from the hallway but not terribly. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels and a good assortment of baked goods
Great location! We appreciated the friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Complimentary tea, coffee and pastries in the morning was a nice perk. Very clean and comfortable room.
Excellent location near NYU where my daughter was graduating. The front desk staff was very courteous, professional and accomodating of special requests
Nice comfortable room. Really nice breakfasts and coffee.
Not to mention it was at the end of a hallway where the door to the stairwell slammed loudly enough to shake the room all day long while staff were constantly using it.  A very ugly way to treat a loyal customer

Maybe not the best place for elders but 10 minute walk is actually pretty good for nyc. We mostly walked back around 9pm and it was safe. They also called for our cab the next morning
It’s not the fanciest hotel, but as I said—clean, comfortable, and a calm place to stay in one of the busiest cities in the world
Well we would stay here again, rooms were definitely clean and big enough, staff was so friendly and helpful
However, there isn’t a subway station that’s easily accessible without walking a few blocks uphill
Aside from that, the breakfast was abundant (though the seating area couldn’t quite keep up with the demand), the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the view of the city from our room wasn’t bad at all
