Austin, 1900 University Avenue (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Room and property was clean as usual, we have stayed here 4 times. ******* folks don’t count on room upgrade. I know this is a nice perk, but I know at checkout none are available even though you can see the rooms available in the web. We got the tickets for the free drinks although we couldn’t use as the bar closed early with no prior notice or signage posted. We received the probation a few days...
I was a little disappointed during this stay. I’ve stayed here before and it used to be my favorite hotel, but this visit fell short. The toilet tank was loose and looked like it was about to fall, which scared me a couple of times. There’s also construction going on, so it’s definitely better to be out of the room during the day. I qualified for an upgrade, but it wasn’t offered to me, which was...
Always love staying at the AT&T Hotel & Conference Center. The best part is the little coffee stand. Friendly & great service!
Great staff and location. Walkable distance to both on and off campus activities. Bars, restuaarants, shops.
I really enjoyed how clean everything was. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, asking any questions I had. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend.
For $500/night I’d expect complimentary coffee and water at minimum and really should include breakfast. Even Comfort Inn offers free bottles of water these days, but this place has a smart water bottle in the room with a price tag of $5. There is just one small coffee stand near the lobby where we had to wait 15 minutes for a drip coffee. Common areas and grounds are nice but rooms are desperately...

Super clean room, towels and linens. Loved the free parking at Nordstrom. Only con was a tiny bit of road n noise.
The room was not what was expected. Lights did not work, shower was broken and drapes do not close. Would have expected more for the price point.
Stayed here for work. Hard to get decent sleep with the noise from the trash trucks, leaf blowers, and power washing on the street below — and I was on the 7th floor. Also, deck fireplace not working. A lot of money spent for a property that was so-so.
This is definitely a Five Star property !! Everyone goes beyond to make your stay Excellent !! We will return…
Room very clean and well laid out. Bed very comfortable. Gym and pool area were clean well kept. Bar lounge was very inviting. Perfectly located to stores an fine dining
This hotel was great! Perfect location for those that want to do some shopping and have walking-distance access to many food options. It was very clean and modern and the staff were all very helpful.

The Wyndham was a good hotel for a 5 day business trip to Austin as it was located very near the central business and entertainment areas with lots of dining choices nearby. The staff was always friendly and helpful.
the room was very clean and comfortable. For me, the best part was that the room stayed cool at the temperature I set it at throughout the night. I loved that they provided soft pillows and also a set of firmer pillows. The staff was very attentive and very kind. The only suggestion I would make would be to place the shampoo, creme rinse and body wash in dispensers in the shower; the small bottles...
The staff was wonderful, as they always are. The rooms are always clean. The location is really good for me as it's less than 10 minutes away from my daughter when I visit. For the second consecutive stay there was a major problem in a room on the first floor. This time it was no air conditioner and the tv couldn't receive any signal. The hot water never got warmer than lukewarm. The time before it...
I’m thinking maybe the hotel was dead because of holiday week? Good room rate. I asked for medium well burger but it was too rare. Staff I conversed with were friendly. Nice shuttle service to airport. It was great walking distance location (0.7 miles) to my daily activity.
The staff was very courteous and helpful- the two casita rooms worked great for our family
All the staff were nice, the room was clean, just smelt very gross on the third floor like old carpet. Also, it says free breakfast but they don’t have free breakfast. But overall good place to stay.

I love the whole vibe of this hotel. The lobby signature scent is divine. Love the room decor and spaciousness. Never expected to compliment a shower, but it’s not probably the best hotel shower I’ve encountered in a long time.
Friendly staff: spotless, comfortable room: coffee every morning on each floor; attentive valets fetch your car quickly; lovely pool area
Gorgeous clean room, excellent customer service from staff, and the amenities like the shuttle was great to have. We definitely recommend Hotel ZaZa!
Staff was amazing. Hotel was extremely clean, snacks and coffee were great. Would definitely stay again.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel ZaZa for 5 days and 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful, stylish, and very comfortable. My room was spotless, and the staff was friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. The location was perfect and made everything easily accessible. I truly enjoyed my experience and would definitely stay here again.
Some really nice touches and a nice room. But maybe don’t rent out your feature amenities so guests can’t even use them.

Our favorite staycation and our go-to to getaway close to home!
What an awesome little hotel! Very cool decor, nice room, amazing staff!!! It felt very unique and provided that experience I was hoping for.
We had a lovely stay and were truly impressed by the beautiful grounds, lush landscaping, and peaceful atmosphere. We’re big fans of design-forward boutique hotels like Chateau Marmont and The Bowery, so we were excited for a similarly curated experience here — and the aesthetic and ambiance absolutely delivered. Charming touches like the in-room record player and thoughtful interiors made the property...
great staff.....great room, well stocked except for the vodka...someone refilled with water so when I went for a drink. Nice area.
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Loved everything. Only complaint is that the pool was too cold. It didn’t stop me from swimming but it would have been much more enjoyable if warm. Other than that, the hotel was amazing and we will definitely be back!

The "Breakfast Credits" were an interesting way to approach it, but I may prefer this to the same, questionable breakfasts at nearby, and nearly all hotels with breakfast included. Great, regular ALoft experience.
I was very impressed with our stay. This was our first time staying at an Aloft hotel since we booked our trip on a whim. It was clean, great customer service, had awesome amenities for the price, a nice gym and outdoor area and indoor area. We even forgot our toothpaste and the front desk gave us a whole kit that included toothpaste, toothbrush, and mouthwash. I loved the food section that is 24 hrs...
Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Excellent service and ideally located for enjoying the Domain.
Room was great. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Great location for shopping at the Domain.
This was our second stay here and we always love how quiet & clean it is. Great location and the people who work there are always so friendly and accomodating!

My husband and I had a wonderful sray. Went walking on lady bird lake and got see so much of nature. Thank you for a wonderful and safe place to stay. Clean quite and relaxing.
This hotel is convenient to Town Lake located along I 35. Unfortunately room location was terrible. I had a view of the garage wall and traffic noise off I 35.was aplifirhed.  Truck and motorcycles are very loud. We got very little sleep. I would not recommend this hotel if you think you might get a restful sleep.
Facilities old but renovated, well-kept, clean, & friendly staffs. Comfortable bed, decent bathroom but windows could use more sound proofing as it is nearby freeway.
It was a really nice hotel and with a beautiful view in the morning
Great location, but rooms felt a bit gloomy The hotel is in a really convenient spot — right by the lake and close to downtown, which made it easy to get around and explore Austin. That said, the room we had was a bit of a letdown. It was pretty small and didn’t get much natural light, so it felt kind of dark and cramped. Not terrible, but not the most comfortable for hanging out. Still, if you're...
Clean rooms and comfortable stay. We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked good and fairly priced. They have a shuttle bus if you need to go somewhere which is convenient. Pool was out of order for cleaning but not a big deal as there are plenty of places to swim in Austin.

Courteous staff, spotless room, good amenities, wonderful 11th floor deck/lounge with 270 degree views of Austin skyline. I'll stay here again
Room was clean. Staff were friendly. Only problem was this strange groaning sound coming from the heat ducts. It was really loud and distracting.
The staff were all friendly from check in, check out, cleaning … all friendly. The room was very stylish and clean and comfortable. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Thank you
I go to Austin frequently and stay a different Marriott properties. I really enjoyed my stay at the AC Hotel. It was super clean and the room is streamlined. Not fussy. No carpet. Simple modern layout. The front desk was nice. Easy parking and super convenient to campus.
The staff was courteous and the amenities were great. We really enjoyed both restaurants in the hotel and the location was great.
The room is small but the view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows is OK. The price is high, the service is average, nothing bad, it's OK to stay occasionally. The picture is of the Austin campus, which is different from what you see in the hotel.

Great experience at this hotel. The room was very clean, well equipped, and very comfortable — perfect for resting after a long day exploring Austin. The staff was always friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. Although the hotel does not have its own parking, there is a public parking lot just one block away where I was able to leave my car without any issues. The cost was very reasonable...

If you are looking for a nice practical hotel in a walkable location this one is for you. It is more retro than fancy, but a great vibe for Austin. The staff was great and loved the free Lone Star at check-in.
Great hotel. We just had a recent visit and all went well. Only down fall is now they charge for parking which they do not last time. $25 a night. I feel like they charge enough to not have to charge for parking.
This hotel was so really. Check-in we were offered water and root beer. The fire pits were going which was perfect as the first cold night came in the night before. There were s’more kits available too. The shopping area was convenient. The parking lot was lit and safe. Food truck available mornings and evenings. Would definitely recommend.
We adore this hotel and try to stay there whenever we are in Austin. It’s beautiful, they have well designed facilities and amenities throughout, it’s super clean and everyone is very nice. We really love the court yard with the pool, fire pits and outdoor seating and the beautiful balconies overlooking it. This is one of the coolest hotels in the area. We highly recommend it
Wonderful property. Lovely room. Full size fridge is a major plus. Close to major restaurants. Food truck area is fantastic. Only thing missing is microwave in room or a common area. Otherwise a great stay.
The hotel was unique. The breakfast was slow because of limited personnel. The biggest disappointment was the a/c in my room. I couldn’t set the temperature. It seemed to be permanently set at 75 degrees and alternating between what I set and the “permanent” setting through out the night. The room was too warm overall. The building was under renovation. The internet was open so most people could not use it. I stayed 4 nights and they never cleaned my room. Breakfast was the best part of the day......
Room was perfect. Very nice shower! Check in was easy and staff very friendly. Will stay here again!
Showing some wear and tear, there is some renovation going on. Generally nice place with decent breakfast.
Our room was spacious & very clean. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. There was a great variety of breakfast foods & they were very good at bringing fresh food out as it got low.
The room was good. It was clean. It smelled good, not musty like a competitors hotel nearby. The price was also better than the competitor. Was it perfect, no. It was recently remodled, and the glass doors in the shower would not stay closed and were installed incorrectly. The toilet seat needed to be tightened as it was loose. Next time, get soft-close, nobody likes it when the seat gets dropped...

The room was pretty large, but the lights were out in the outdoor hallways and on the staircase which made it very difficult to see at night. They also didn't have any foam pillows, just the pillows on the bed.
Great location, friendly staff and just a cool place to hang out. We had some problems due to their switch over of reservation systems, but the figured it out.
This was not our first visit to this hotel. It is good for a 1 or 2 night stay, but not for the 5 nights we stayed. The rooms are generally smaller and not well it. Best place we have stayed in in a while. Quality service and construction / decor
We stayed in the spring suite at this wonderful hotel. The staff is always amazing! The spring suite has a beautiful screened in porch on the upper floors. The hotel is so nestled into the trees and is right off the main drag of SOuth Congress Ave. Lots of shops, restaurants, music.
The location is nice if you want to be in the middle of South Congress and the noise. If you are on the first floor you can hear loud walking and talking upstairs and all around you. Not good for a couples getaway. More of a business trip or party atmosphere

This place is loud during the weekends, and it should be. I was offered a quieter room if requested, but I didn't come to Austin Texas for a quiet room. No frills room, but it was clean and tidy and the staff was pleasant. Good place for the money.
Overall upkeep of the property was poor. There were holes in the walls of the room that had been poorly patched up. When I showered, the roof of the shower started leaking. I found a blood stain on the comforter… I’d avoid this property if possible

The Carpenter was a great stay. Very cool. Writing this mainly to shout out one front desk staff member in particular - Bianca! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and settled. Thank you Bianca for your care.
Stayed here for a “staycation” weekend and had a nice time. The rooms are pretty standard and small but everything is redone / new (especially the bathrooms). The room also has a nice patio. Everything was very intentionally done and clear to use (I.e. the board outlining all the amenities). The overall grounds are really nice with a pool, coffee shop, and a place to eat. We loved the plant aesthetic...
Overall I had a nice stay. Property was beautiful and vibey, staff was friendly, great location walkable to the trail and Zilker park. Couple issues that seem fixable for the future: - Was disappointed by the lack of any substantial vegan-friendly food options on the premises. The hotel took care of us really well especially during the blizzard. The rooms had great insulation and were quiet. The rooms were spacious with concrete floors (so maybe ask for slippers?).
