Helpful service! There is free delicious pancakes provided every morning. Very nice location in DC. Super convenient to all the attractions

I stayed at this hostel for three nights and had a great value stay. It's in a great location, within walking distance of the subway station and the White House, and supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby, making it convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The free breakfast (pancakes) also saves you money on food. It's also a no-shoes hostel, so cleanliness is a priority. There's a black man at the reception who speaks Japanese, so Japanese guests feel especially at ease. The only downside is that it's a privately run hostel, so attention to detail isn't always as important. Those seeking hotel quality may find it inconvenient or uncomfortable, but I recommend it for those who want to save on accommodation and food and prioritize sightseeing in Washington DC.

The neighborhood is safe, and it's not dangerous even if you go out late at night. It's within a 10-minute walk from the station, and there are no security issues there either. The facilities and cleanliness, such as the bathroom, are not the best, but it won't bother you for a few days. There is some creaking of the bed and stairs, and noise from outside, so people who are sensitive to noise may find it bothersome.
However, I think it's quite satisfactory compared to the price.

I stayed in a 12-person mixed-gender room. The bed was comfortable, but it made noise when I moved, so I couldn't turn over much.
Many people were relaxing in the shared dining room and living room. The kitchen and eating space were crowded at breakfast time. I recommend going early.

This hotel is actually a youth hostel, and most rooms are shared. This is not fully indicated on Ctrip's hotel booking app. I hope the platform can optimize this.

The room and corridor are very clean and spacious, but the kitchen is a bit shabby. I hope it can be improved.

This time I stayed in their new hotel next door. It was clean and new, great!
The location is great, very convenient to the airport or attractions.
The staff are friendly, the access control is enforced very seriously, and the guests are all well-behaved ~ it is really safe here!
Finally, I would like to praise the waffles for breakfast - I will miss them!

Breakfast is so simple. But kitchen is available so the guest can buy food in supermarket and do cooking. Price of the bed is still very expensive. If travelling with 1 or 2 more definitely it will be cheaper to get a proper bed room than just one bed.

Even though I had sent my request in advance via "email to accommodation" on the trip.com website, it didn't get through to them, and they were not able to respond in Japanese, even though they said they could. Also, the room type I reserved was a room with two bunk beds, but I ended up with a room with three. What does that mean?
The accommodation building is divided into the front and main building and a detached building, and because it is a detached building, you have to go outside and walk along the street to the main building to go to breakfast or to take your luggage to the baggage storage, so I think it makes a big difference which building you can stay in.
Also, the only amenities were one bath towel for two nights and hand soap.
However, the pancakes included with breakfast were delicious, they also stored my luggage for free after check-out, and the location is close to the main tourist spots, so it wasn't a hassle to walk around downtown and back to my accommodation.
