Phu Quoc Island, Bai Xep - Ong Lang Hamlet 🧭 Map
I was able to relax in a quiet environment. Although it's a small resort hotel, I was able to enjoy a sophisticated time surrounded by nature. For breakfast, you can freely choose the fruit in front of you to make your own fresh juice. It was delicious.
The room is located in a quiet and somewhat secluded private area by the sea. There are only a few rooms in total, so it's very peaceful and undisturbed, allowing you to fully enjoy a different lifestyle. I was very lucky to get an upgrade; the experience of a beachfront villa was so much better. The view of the ocean right from the room door was quite breathtaking, with sunshine and sand.
I stayed at three or four different hotels in Vietnam this time, experiencing the romance and vibrancy of the sunset town, and also feeling the lively atmosphere of central Phu Quoc Island (I even met an angelic little dog named Qiuqiu at my guesthouse). But unsurprisingly, for the last two days, I fell in love with the unique tranquility and freedom of Chen Sea.
Perhaps it was the spacious lobby...
This is a very unique resort. Chocolates are placed on the bedside table as a welcome gift. The beds also have mosquito nets, creating a very atmospheric feel. The room fragrance is also very distinctive. The only downside is that during peak shower times, there might be no hot water; even after half an hour, the bathwater was still cold. However, from the terrace outside, you can hear the sound of...
The room was a bit basic, but the service was excellent.
The hotel was great! My only minor quibble is the poorly maintained road leading up to the entrance; it would be absolutely perfect if that could be fixed. Still, it didn't significantly affect our overall experience.

I have no problems at all with the service here. Staffs are very friendly and attentive. We stayed here for a 8 days and 7 nights. Upon checking in, we were offered free transportation back to the airport at the date of checking out. Wonderful! Ok, the facilities may be a bit outdated, and the breakfast is the same everyday. But the location is great, right by the beach and it's easy to walk to the...
Great hotel, perfect location staff are unbelievable helpful. I didn't get the older mans name at the pool but he is the best! He kept a bed free for us every day.
We stayed at the garden bungalow and could do with a lick of paint but that's nothing major.
The beds are hard as a rock compared to where weve all been traveling around Veitnam.
The property is right beside the sea with a decent swimming pool. There are various categories of rooms including sea view rooms which are bang on the sea shore. The place has a great ambience. Wonderful to sit by the beach in the evening or late night to spend time in solitude. The breakfast buffet is not that great though (For Indian food). The spread is ditto 😅 everyday.
I stayed in the beach front hotel and absolutely loved the location, right on the beach and next to awesome beach bars and clubs. Highly recommend this hotel, the breakfast was delicious and staff were all lovely. Special thanks to Mandy Tan who went above and beyond to help us during our stay. We can't wait to come back!
We really enjoyed our few days. Clean spacious rooms, fresh towels and daily servicing. Good breakfast options. Beach Bar with snacks. Lovely pool. Good value for money compared to others in area. Right on beach and close to shops and town.
Suggest to have somewhere to hang wet swim clothes on veranda/room. Bridge into pool area bit spiky for bare feet.
The staff is so wonderful, the breakfast buffet- couldn’t ask for more. The bungalow large and airy with gigantic shower aria. Bed big and perfect I every need. Beautiful and well taken care of garden with lovely beach near by. Clean and fresh all over an a great pool area as well. I didn’t miss anything. I could live here for the rest of my life.

Big and clean room at a good location. There even a bathtub. There are many restaurants nearby. Have a nice swimming pool.
The owner was a top man. Gave us lots of local food to try on our first night. Location was good enough, easy to get to the beach.
The hotel's location is pretty nice, and it's comfy plus the staff is nice. Faced issues with washroom as it had some shower problem. Nevertheless it's clean, comfortable and at a reasonable price.
Excellent hotel. Spacious room. Friendly staff. They provide all the essentials: slippers, bathrobes, shower gel, shampoo, towels, water, tea, coffee, and sugar. As promised, laundry and ironing facilities are available for free. You can also rent a motorbike.
Small ants might appear at night if you leave sweets on the table.
The room was cleaned daily.
I really liked the log cabin-style room; it had a great vibe! The bathroom was clean, but the shower only had cold water, so I ended up using the bathtub. The floor was a bit slanted, which was certainly a unique experience, but overall it felt like a livable room.
Mosquitoes were an issue and the bed sheet could be cleaner, but it was affordable place, if you’re on a tight budget, so overall fair for the price. Everything was sold for the NY eve, so the next day I changed to another hotel.

A decent budget hotel with a great location. There's a bus stop right outside, offering free rides around the city and to the airport. King Kong supermarket is nearby, and the night market isn't far either. The room was quite clean, and towels were changed daily. Breakfasts were a bit repetitive and didn't offer much variety, but we never went hungry.
Good hotel. Everything you need is nearby. The rooms are clean and new.
Location was great. Everything needed was within walking distance. Centrally located to be able to go see the main sites without having to be from one end to the other.
The hotel is new and in a good location.
The price/quality ratio is 10 out of 10. The hotel's location is excellent. We stayed in different parts of the island and still came back here.
The room is clean and there is a bus right outside. It's very convenient nearby. King Kong Supermarket is also very close. There is also a swimming pool 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Staff are poorly trained, limited selection of breakfast. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Staff knock at every door really loudly at 9AM for room cleaning. We had breakfast in the restaurant and hours later when we came back for lunch, the dirty dishes and cups we had for breakfast were still not taken away. One staff brought us the food and forgot to serve many things for the meal like cutleries, tissue...
Great service and very tasty, affordable local and European food.
Nice affordable seafood restaurant.
If you are OK with squids, I recommend you Seafood Fried Rice and Stir Fried noodle.
I like this restaurant.
Anyway, many local people(?) was eating hotpot... It’s hot place but Why eating hot food ??
New hotel. Good view on the walking area. Need more care on the room.

If you want an authentic Vietnam experience with the comforts and “rustic luxury” of a resort this place is for you. Good AC! Clean! Comfy bed! Excellent bed! Pools! Service with a smile!!! I don’t know why anyone would come all this way and stay at one of the mega resorts. You have your own little sanctuary away from the hubbub and smells of the nearby fishing village. I would 100% recommend this...
Although it is not 5 stars resort, Peppercorn resort is the best place we've been so far. The place is quiet and gives You intimacy and calmness for enjoying the tropical surroundings of the resort. The fact it is situated in the north of Phu Quoc, helps escaping crowded and noisy south. The kitchen is delicous, the beach is clean. Unlike the Sao Beach the water and the Peppercorn Beach are clean....
The Beach Bungalows are really good. It's definitively a nice and relaxing place next to a charming and authentic village. The breakfast is outstanding and the service is one of the best I've seen so far in Vietnam. The beach is cleaned every day, kayaking is for free and there ist also a good snorkeling spot (weather dependant) very close. If you want to avoid some high cost for food or drinks in...
stayed 5 nights late November, beginning of the good season.
Lovely little beach resort 5 minutes walking from the village and the market.
Not fully booked, they kindly upgraded us to a beach front room.
Friendly and helpful staff, great food, especially the breakfast buffet.
They catered really well for my gluten free diet.
Tasteful decor.
Nice swimming pool. No real beach, but a large sandy border...
We spent a total of 5 nights at this beautiful resort — and we absolutely loved it! The place is idyllic, peaceful, and surrounded by nature — the perfect spot to truly relax.

This resort was the place where I finally felt like I could truly unwind and relax. Throughout our time on the island, we hadn't encountered such professional and attentive staff as we found here. Our only regret is that our stay was too short.

Had a bungalow room by the pool. This is a lot nicer location than the other rooms.
The bed was good. I liked the bathroom behind and outside.
The breakfast was fresh and good but smaller selection.
Great pancakes, egg station bacon fresh bead ham vagables and jam and boiled eggs and more. I rented a scooter so easy to get around.
The staff said yes offcause to every request I had.
Wonderful cozy hotel. We rented a scooter, so getting around was easy, even though it's located a little bit up a hill. It's about a 15-minute walk to the sea, or 5 minutes by scooter. The breakfasts are delicious, the pool is cleaned every day, and room cleaning and towel changes are daily. You can also get fresh beach towels every day. I recommend this hotel! 👍
The hotel is great, not new, but very charming. Be careful with the pool, the tiles are a bit sharp, but we didn't get cut. The dogs nearby are calm :) We caught an amazing view from the balcony.
Staying at this hotel during Chinese New Year for just over 300 a night was an absolute steal! The only downside is its location down an alley a little off the main street. There's a wider path accessible by car and a narrower one for pedestrians, but it only takes a few minutes to walk out. The hotel breakfast is a satisfying buffet, and you can order pho and omelets. The watermelon juice was incredibly...

Super dacha! My eyes and soul got a real rest. Everything was great, except for the pool which was just so-so. Didn't swim, didn't even feel like it. But overall, it's green, just drowning in greenery.
If you're used to good hotels, this one isn't for you. We wanted to stay in a bungalow with our family, and after reading reviews, I booked this hotel. People wrote about a clean pool, but that's not true. My kids swam in it and were sick all night. Breakfast was also terrible. The beach is accessed through a construction site and is very dirty. I do not recommend this hotel.
Every thing is as it should be in a hotel. It's a little expensive to stay here well it is for me because IAM traveling for 4 months and have a budget of 25 pound max for hotel a night . I could not find any thing in this location so had to pay . breakfast ok not the best but ok . Would stay here again. Staff friendly and willing to help you just ask.
The hotel has a great location, with everything you need nearby, and the sea is just a 15-minute walk away.
Everything was great! The breakfast was delicious and varied. The rooms are spacious, and they clean daily, changing towels and disposable toothbrushes. We also got two bottles of water every day. The only downside was that the bed linen wasn't changed once during our 11-night stay. There are lots of cafes and shops nearby, and the beach is close too.
I stayed here with my family and had a great experience. We rented a motorbike directly from the hotel, which made it very convenient to explore the surrounding area. There are several restaurants and shops nearby, and although the area is not very crowded, it feels calm and comfortable. The location is excellent—close to everything—and the price is very reasonable. We really enjoyed our stay and would...

Good position near many animated places
A budget-friendly hotel with a convenient location. The staff was friendly.
I stayed for one night. Everything was fine. Geckos were running along the wall, adding to the ambiance but not causing any disturbance, so those who don't like critters should take note.
The room we were assigned to was full of trash and had a broken air conditioner, some of the furniture was broken, and the Wi-Fi in the room didn't work; we connected to the room next door. They apologized for the mess and moved us to a clean room with working air conditioning, but the Wi-Fi in that room didn't work either. They promised to fix it the next day (they didn't). The location is good, across from Long Beach Center. The bungalow is quite far from reception. The room is large, as is the bathroom. On the downside, the bed linens seem stale, and there are insects everywhere.

It is close to downtown Duong Dong. It is about a 6-minute walk from King Kong Mart.

The hotel is located not far from the main road. It has a nice small area with a swimming pool. The room itself was quite decent, with towels, slippers, bathrobes, and toiletries provided. I had a wonderful 1.5 months at this hotel; everything about it was excellent.

Good value for money. Best it is the people who work there, reality gentle and helpful. Bed is comfortable, there is no noise. Near night market.
They have mold problem in some rooms. Mold is very dangerous for health. You should not accept a room with mold. They didn't get my point, but they were super gentle finding another room for me.

The location is super convenient. After arriving at the airport at night, we checked into the hotel, dropped off our luggage, and then just walked a few minutes downstairs to the night market.
