OK stay Just not my type of hotel. Friendly staff, but there is an incredible damp/moldy smell in all the rooms. I am used to hard beds, but this one really messed up my shoulders. Wanted to getaway from the city in Hue and head to the beach for a few hours. This is a great spot and probably the only spot. Food is good and beach is clean though water is choppy. You pay VND 150k up entry fee then they deduct it off your food and drink bill.

Not only were the bedsheets dusty, but the whole room felt dirty, making my skin itch. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken, so it was really awkward after using the toilet with no ventilation. The area around the main entrance was quite bad, but luckily, it was quiet at night for sleeping.

We had a great day with Ze from Sapa sisters trekking over Dragon Mountain straight from Sa Pa centre to her village in the Muong Hoa valley. The weather and therefore views were excellent. The location is a bit hard to find, as it's tucked away perpendicularly from the main street. It might have been a coincidence, but I got a windowless room on the 6th floor.
