To be honest felt a bit cat fished by this hotel. Had a lovely warm welcome from the lady at reception. However, when we entered our room, the first thing we saw was signs of rising damp in the corner, we even moved the big arm chair so it wouldn’t be in eyesight. i cannot disagree this is a very convenient hotel. however, the only concern i have is the cleanliness of the bed. i had skin allergy in my 2 final nights, so it’s either bed bugs or dust mites. The hotel overbooked and we had to move out on the last night. Even though they offered us another hotel for the last night but we are not satisfied with the system and arrangement. Bringing my 84 years old father we had to pack and move has caused such inconveniences. Overall we are not happy about it as it has disrupted our holidays.

This is a return trip after 3-4 years. Arrived late at about 1am but staff was still very understanding. Checked out early at 5am and was handed a simple pre-packed breakfast. Thought it was very thoughtful of the staff.

We expected a proper 4-star experience but left disappointed—many 3-star hotels offer better value in both price and quality. They had laundry services, which was great and the location is very close to the beach and to the dragon bridge. Rooms were very moldy, bedsheets were dirty and the bath/shower was in a terrible condition. People also didn’t speak English.

We loved staying here it had a lovely feel to the place beautiful gardens and a nice pool pool. It is located down a peaceful lane next to the river. The staff were all brilliant and the breakfast was great with ba good selection of both European and Asian dishes. There are loads of good coffee shops and restraints within a few minutes walk and about 10 to 15 mins by grap into Ancient town

The hotel is located by the road, but the car noise wasn't bothersome, although the windows faced the road. The room was quite cool; only the air conditioning, set to 29 degrees, helped, but it didn't start working immediately. The refrigerator wasn't functional, and the shower water was warm but not hot. This was a very clean hotel! The front desk staff were also very friendly. I requested a massage on the evening of my stay, and they were able to book one for me just 30 minutes later. It was also very affordable, especially considering it was an in-house hotel massage. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Ninh Binh!

Important notice about "small room" at the hotel. They have a room called "small room" whose ceiling is lower than the regular room. It was roughly 160cm-180cm, and the door is also 165cm.
