Wonderful hotel! Stayed there with my mother during our trip. Of all the hotels we have been to, this hotel was our favorite! Generally a very underrated hotel. If the owners add a little soul, it has every chance of becoming a hotel 1 star higher.

The staff were friendly. The location is ambiguous. The hotel is too dark and there is a temple right in front. The morning bell rings without fail at 4 a.m. and it is very noisy. The facilities are very poor. First of all, the hotel is saving electricity, so it is very dark.

I stayed here for three nights on my trip in Sapa. Excellent location, amazing rooms, facilitates and most of all great staff, especially Hien. Came to this hotel in a crisis, the apartment we rented having been a scam. The staff were nice, the wifi was good and the location was okay. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The room was in the basement and they sneak this past you in the booking you really need to read the fine print when making a booking to see if the room has a window because we had no idea it didn’t say it. I stayed for a night for business purpose. The customer service was excellent. I arrived late and was greeted with warmest welcome from staff. Same went for staff in restaurant at breakfast. Make sure you ask for extra (usually free) stuff in room.

From the moment I arrived I was welcomed and made comfortable. Of particular note was the personal service I was given in choosing tours. I now feel that I have seen much of Vietnam and Hanoi and that has been a priceless experience. With luck I will return to Hanoi and would definitely choose the Camellia Boutique Hotel. We reserved the superior twin room with balcon. The room was enough espace for two. And the balcon was big and nice. At breakfast many choices. But the door of the toilet, room and balcon was difficult to open and close. That was only problem.
