I would say on the overall it was ok for the price and for my kids to experience a pool villa, but the entire Vinpearl complex is dated and kinda eerie. Staff were helpful and nice

The pool water was also a bit dirty, with quite a lot of dead bugs in it. The main pool was also small for a hotel this scale

The hotel comprise of 2-4 bedroom villas and the landscaping has a tv drama suburban vibe to it. The villas are spacious but the hygiene was just fair

Our kids developed rashes after frequent contact with the couches, which looked quite dated. The amenities were also so so, no body lotion / insect repellent as most hotels would have provided

A great hotel for families! The rooms are well-equipped with excellent facilities, and the private pool is a lot of fun. Service was always prompt whenever we needed anything, and the hotel breakfast was delicious.

The door lock wasn’t working properly, which made entering the room inconvenient and a bit unsafe. Even worse, the bed sheet had a visible blood stain, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel

Overall, the food was great, but the service and room cleanliness need serious improvement. Even though， I won't give any bad score to the front house staff

The breakfast at the hotel was good — plenty of variety and everything tasted fresh. Unfortunately, the rest of the stay didn’t match that standard

It’s very clear that the management team is more focused on how much money they can earn rather than providing proper service

You can really feel that they are cutting costs everywhere — from reduced facilities to poor maintenance

The hotel is huge, and it took us an hour to check in during the Chinese New Year. We also had to wait a long time for the golf cart, even though we had a reservation

Shuttles to the beach or lobby were quick to arrive. It was hot during the day, but mornings and evenings were very pleasant. There's an infinity pool, and they even have a foam party in the afternoon

The resort is quite large, with beautiful scenery and great air quality. We booked a two-bedroom villa with a private pool. Our room was conveniently located very close to the activity center, within walking distance

The hotel grounds are expansive, so you need to take a golf cart to get around. My villa had two floors, three bathrooms, and a private pool right outside

When it was too hot to go out, just playing in our private pool was a great option

The friendliness of the staff was impressive. The hotel pool and beach are really great. The only downside is that the twin beds are too narrow. A family of three should definitely opt for a king-sized bed

Maybe because it was peak season, breakfast was incredibly crowded, and there was always a long queue for coffee. The hotel's pool, beach, and other recreational facilities were great

Staff was very friendly and helpful as far as they understood English. Breakfast buffet was ok but dinner buffet and also the a-la-carte restaurant was a nightmare - especially for the requested prices

I recommend everyone to drive to the cable car island station: there you get more choice, better quality and all this for 30-50% of the hotel price

All the facilities including the pool, even though the weather was not proper to use it, were enough to relieve my stress at work. Especially the service they gave was really enjoyable while my stay there

I was pleasantly surprised to receive an upgraded upon check-in. The hotel features a nice swimming pool at the rooftop, a decent weight room for basic workout exercise, and my room was spacious.

A full 5☆ for the amazing, efficient service in all areas which made it a perfect stay for the New Year celebrations. The pool & views from floor 40 are outstanding & a must whilst staying at this beautiful hotel

The sea view room wasn't quite what I expected; it was pretty far from the sea, and you could only see a tiny bit of the ocean

The hotel does not allow take away food, not very convenient, other than that its a great place to stay

I had an amazing time at this villa. The view was beautiful, and the staff were very kind and polite. The food was delicious and also felt healthy. There were many swimming pools, and they were clean and well maintained

You can swim in almost every pool. Problem is, we wanted to swim into the sea but they wouldn’t allow us to go 🥲, over all it’s a good experience. Nice food at the hotel and in front of the beach

The dining area was extremely crowded, and there appeared to be no crowd control in place. There were many children running around, creating a chaotic and unpleasant environment for guests trying to enjoy their meal

Clearly we were there to check-in but there was no greeting or eye contact; instead, we were simply asked for our passports without any courtesy. Additionally, we were traveling with six pieces of luggage

Very nice resort. The food was good. The view and pool were awesome. Silent and peaceful. You will just want to stay in the resort all day but not going out.

The place is very spacious, and Building 3 is quite new. Many large conferences are held here. I didn't have time to go swimming because my schedule was too tight.

Main feedback that quite annoyed me was that everytime I book a grab bike or grab food it will be delivered OUTSIDE the hotel as the hotel refuses entry to any grab bikes

even tho was under renovation, didn’t affect the stay, food good, awesome trampolim at kids club so my kids were extra happy and the staff was beyond friendly ! I’m definitely coming back !!

If they could clean up the beach, it would be next level. The waves were quite strong, not really suitable for swimming in the sea, so it's more for playing by the shore

- The resort environment was good; the lawns and greenery were well-maintained. The beach had quite a few impurities like twigs, leaves, shells, and cigarette butts

The seawater wasn't very clear either; the sea near JW Marriott to the south is clearer. - Plenty of bath towels were provided

Perhaps it's just the local vibe, but they weren't overly enthusiastic, though you'd occasionally find some friendly staff. However, if you had a request, they could generally sort it out

The sun loungers tended to be reserved, but if no one was there, you could temporarily sit on one. If you're bringing kids and planning to visit the amusement park or zoo, staying here is convenient for getting around

Hotel needs some training for waiters and staff in the restaurants (they can’t speak English at all, the food in pool restaurant is not so good) Great location close to the all activities like safari park and water park

We were given free upgrade to suite. My trip 2nd day breakfast was great! The location is beside ******, night entertainment is covered.  Overall massage, avocado and coconut ice cream was very nice in Phu Quoc. 😊

The location of the resort is the USP. They have a wonderful swimming pool, there is a decent indoor kids play area

Our second stay at Swandor Cam Ranh and it was even better as we went during a better season. Perfect sunshine with pools and the beach. The shows were great and the food just as good as last time

Traveling with my kids and parents this time, I skipped the bustling city and island hopping. The hotel's all-inclusive package was absolutely perfect for me! The beach was clean and uncrowded

Plus, unlimited drinks! 🤭🤭🤭 Just a tip for the grilled meats and steaks, please don't overcook them! They were practically impossible to chew

We added an extra bed and were upgraded to a triple room. The hotel's pool, beach, and kids' water park are all great, and there's a kids' club available

Really quaint and lovely resort which is just the right size without having to walk too much from room to pools or beach. Tbh, as online reviews go, Housekeeping is really meh, despite best efforts

The hotel facilities are very comprehensive; even after checking out, there are still public amenities like the kids' club, a pool with public showers, a game room, and a lounge where you can pass the time, which was a huge plus

Initially, we booked an apartment building, which had a pure business style with no sea view. It had a kitchen but no cooking utensils, and a washing machine but no outdoor drying rack, making it feel a bit impractical

The Sea Shack restaurant had a lot of flies, and the breakfast was basic. Overall, the environment is excellent, and the service is warm

Resort credit for meals is a good deal. There is a marina with good local dishes 5 minutes along the beachside walk, which we really recommend. Overall recommend if you are not absolutely anal about hygiene

Don't bother spending extra on a sea view balcony room. It's a completely obstructed 'gap sea view' balcony. You pay more, and you can only see a tiny sliver of the ocean

There were a lot of Koreans, and they had a Chinese-speaking staff member, which was great

And everything they prepare is very greasy; not everyone can eat it. It's completely unclear how to eat with a child. There was never enough coffee; two people would take it and the kettle would be empty again

We had to great game there and the views were fantastic, good value overall we enjoyed the hotel and the food was good, so we will go back and play another round of golf there and stay again

It is connected to the golf club and golfers will be transported by electric buggies. As it is located on elevated grounds, it is easier to get in n out of the hotel via taxi or private car

Rooms are massive and spacious. Despite it being a old hotel, it remains well maintained. Buffet breakfast area is large and the selections are varied

We stayed in the Grand Suite Ocean View room, and it was beautiful enough that we even extended our stay by two extra nights. However, the service did not match the standard you would expect from a luxury hotel

A basic level of friendliness and professionalism would go a long way. Another issue was the temperature in the reception area and corridors. They were extremely hot, with no air conditioning

We reported this, and although an engineer was sent, we were told that the temperature could not be adjusted. Despite these issues, the room itself really is the highlight

The bathroom drain tends to fill up before slowly draining during showers, and the water temperature never gets properly hot

Stayed here for my last night of trip in phu quoc because I’d visited the aura beach club a number of times during my stay on the island. I was so impressed by the beach club and service that I thought I’d treat myself

I prefer the other pool at the main hotel because it’s attached to the beach but it’s actually a bit quieter at the Residences pool

The hotel also provides a shuttle to the beach, and guests can use the facilities of the Movenpick property next door. The hotel's spa is also very relaxing

I booked the Residences which is a separate building to the main hotel that houses the beach club. The room was spacious quiet and just what I needed

The location is perfect: only 5 minutes’ walk to the beach, and there’s a 24-hour convenience store right downstairs, which is so convenient. The ocean-view pool has beautiful views and clean water
