This was the highest overall rating I've ever received among the 4-star hotels I've stayed at in the Bai Chay area. Many Japanese tourists also stayed there during the few days I was there, so I assume this hotel is one of those recommended by travel agencies. I've never been satisfied with similar hotels in the same area, but this was a stay that made me want to stay here again.

This hotel is located halfway up the mountain in Halong City. The sea view room has a great view. You can see the cruise ships on the beach, people playing parasailing, and the Halong Night Market. However, due to too many people staying, they are a bit neglected to take care of the tourists.

The rooms were okay, but the decor wasn't great. Some rooms didn't have windows, so they weren't very well-ventilated. There was only one bottle of water in the room, which wasn't enough. Calling the front desk was also difficult. The stool was already broken, and I almost had to pay extra for it.

The hotel environment was nice, but when I went to check in with my confirmed booking, they said there was no reservation. I waited in the lobby for 30 to 40 minutes. Then the front desk told us we'd get a free room upgrade, but instead of the 1.2-meter room with a single bed we booked, they upgraded us to a 0.9-meter room. I was speechless. Great location! Ideally located right in the heart of the bustling Old Town. The staff were friendly and service-minded. Breakfast was okay, if a little uninspiring. Rooms were clean, beds were decent, and the duvets and pillows were good. While the decor was a bit older in style, it felt fresh and well-maintained overall.
