The rooms are similar to those for business trips to Japan, but they're more friendly to first-timers. There's a Japanese town and a Rakuten supermarket nearby, making it very convenient. There's also a rooftop hot spring! ♨️

The hotel building is old, but Japanese is spoken there, which is very satisfying.

We got 3 rooms here this December and it was a lovely experience to be in the heart of the Old Quarter. The head receptionists are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet is also mouth-watering. Since we got several bags, the staff is very helpful and attentive to us in carrying our luggage. This is near to the Vet Restaurant and there is also a nearby ATM.

A wonderfully clean hotel, the staff is fantastic, everything is there, even the shower tiles. This is the first time I've seen a hotel provide such service. It's a 4-star hotel, but the service is as good as a 7-star hotel.

It was quite a pleasant surprise. The view from the top floor of this hotel is very good, and the gym is also quite good facing the West Lake. However, the breakfast was a bit lackluster, with very few varieties.

We spent 2 nights @this hotel n check out on 19/9/18, clean and friendly staffs. Convinient as is near old district and plenty of local food, shopping, etc. On our last day, we left the hotel for some last minute shopping. Very well located near the old city. Rooms are spacious and calm, beds comfortable and the breakfast buffet is large and caters for all tastes both Asian and Western. The swimming pool is standard but essential for the high temperatures in Hanoi. Staff are very helpful and made many arrangements during our stay this was highly appreciated.

Hotel room was clean but toilet amenities cld be better. Hot water was on n off until we figure out to tighten the loose knob. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel's environment and hygiene were just okay and could use some improvement. However, the views were excellent. The hotel service was also just average. For a little more money, you could find better options. But the location was very good.

In terms of location, it is located in a strategic location. Which from hotel to Sun Plaza just walk around 5 - 8 minutes. Along the way also a lot of shops for shopping. We stayed 2 nights in four Deluxe Fansipan Mountain View rooms, but unfortunately the view was mostly covered by fog. The location is great, within walking distance to Sun Plaza with many shops nearby. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. However, there was an unpleasant smell in the lobby, the service was average, and the uphill access makes it difficult to carry luggage.

Great location with convenient transportation. There's a supermarket a few kilometers away, making it easy to get around. The room windows are sealed, which keeps it quiet. It's clean, the mattress is comfortable, and the water pressure is good. Very nice!

The hotel is close to the Ha Long Bay wharf and the beach, which is convenient. There are also free bicycles. The front desk manager is enthusiastic and can communicate in simple Chinese and English. The buffet breakfast is also very good.

I'm really not sure why this hotel is so highly rated and ranked so high. The facilities are old, the room is tiny, and the soundproofing is terrible. Being right by the road makes it even worse, and the air conditioner unit right above the bed is incredibly loud.
