We were two couples; the hotel was in a superb location. The staff were warm and very respectful, always there to help or provide information. Ben and Harry at reception were fantastic

Damsay, Wahiba, and Rudy are very good entertainers, with great games that really get the party going. You also have direct access to the beach, which is super pretty. The hotel lends you towels at reception

We simply wanted a room so we could walk down to the pool in the morning without worrying about the road. We took it anyway because otherwise, there was no other option

By the pool, there are two pools, a large one and a smaller one for children… a very nice pool

The Jumbo entertainment team was present but not intrusive; we loved it, thank you to them!

Upon arrival, we were told the hotel was full and there were no rooms available. We expressed our dissatisfaction, but to no avail. We were put in a family room 200 meters from the hotel, but it wasn't what we had wanted

We spend one night in the roof top deluxe jacuzzi suite. May be a little dark in deco. You can see the sea but it‘s about 20 minutes by foot

This isn‘t a beach resort although offering 2 large outside pools that are not heated. Unfortunately you have to reserve the use of the indoorpool??which is difficult to understand

We had breakfast à la carte as it was low season. Good quality with friendly staff. Sometimes difficult to communicate in english

Air conditioning in the room is pre set at 23C , and you cant adjust it either way, contrary to the list of available services in the room that states AC can be adjusted 3 degrees up or down

I had the absolute best stay at Hotel Villa Pascucci – everything was beyond perfect! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome and treated me with the utmost care and professionalism

Disgusting, I do not recommend it at all(( But the Royal G hotel itself left only pleasant impressions, and despite my love to vacation in a new country, city and hotel every time, I will choose this hotel with pleasure if I come to Albania again)

My stay at Royal G Deluxe Hotel & Spa in Durres was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism that instantly made me feel at home

We have sat by the pool and in the main dining room, and all the locations are very comfortable. Everything at Royal has been great, but the service really puts it over the top

We did not stay at the hotel, but have had some excellent meals at their restaurant. I kicked off my weekend-long birthday celebration with the seafood platter for four, and everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly

The beachfront location is simply stunning, waking up to the sound of the sea and enjoying the view right from the hotel is an experience on its own

Although it is very close to the terminal building and should only be a few minutes to walk to, due to extensive road works going on and a wire fence between the terminal building and the hotel, it was a bit tricky walking to it

Tirana International Airport is officially named Tirana International Airport “Mother Teresa. ”The name honors Mother Teresa (Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu)— a globally respected humanitarian and Catholic nun of Albanian heritage

There were multiple atms to withdraw the local currency and 1 atm for withdrawing Euro. Lot of food joints were there. Some of them even having traditional desserts of Tirana. The security check was also smooth

The airport was modern, clean, and easy to navigate, with clear signage that guided me effortlessly through check-in and security. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the process quick and straightforward

It reflects Albania’s respect for her legacy and introduces travelers to an important cultural figure from the moment they arrive. There is also a statue of Mother Teresa at the airport

Depending on the traffic, it takes just around 25-50min to reach the city centre. There are hourly buses to and from the airport. Buses to city centre cost around €4 or 400 lek. Taxis cost around €11 or 1000-1200 lek

Proximity to the lake shore is definitely an asset of the hotel, although I suspect if sunbathing is your thing, you have to get up early to claim a free sunbed! You are also served by a small shop a few hundred metres up the road (turn left at end of car park) and restaurants nearby - can recommend pizza place next door

The restaurant is great, the food is amazing. The view from the restaurant is beautiful and the lake is right in front of the hotel, making it very easy to go there. The service is nice and the staff was very helpful

I recommend this hotel to everyone. It's possibly the best hotel in Pogradec

One setting on the shower made water spray everywhere! Wifi in the room was best nearest the door and intermittent on the far side of the room. Otherwise, I would describe the room as functional and impersonal

Stayed here as part of a group tour. Our room was in the same building as reception at the back of the hotel, overlooking gardens and mountains. The room was large with two beds, one double, one single

My stay at Olivia’s Hill Hotel was absolutely wonderful! 🌸 The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, kind, and always smiling, which made every day special and full of positive energy

I will always remember my time here with great fondness, and I’m sure I’ll return to Albania to discover more beautiful places — but I will definitely choose Olivia’s Hill again

Additionally, the shower does not have a door, and since the shower area is completely open, it is almost impossible to avoid getting water outside and making a bit of a mess

The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, and the hotel’s location near the sea is a huge advantage for anyone seeking rest and relaxation

Excellent service, very friendly staff. The highligts were the nice beach and the large swimming pool. At the farthest south extreme of Himare, much quieter than other Spots closer to the town‘s center, perfect to relax

Would recommend bringing swim shoes as the beaches are shingle not sand so not so easy on your feet! Really nice pool area and lovely friendly staff

It takes just a few minutes to walk to the beach and Rapo’s have their own sun loungers with towels provided

Great pool and beach, but small and dated rooms I really wanted to like this hotel, as it was quite expensive

We spent 3 nights at Rapo’s in September 2025. The hotel is situated in the Potam area of Himare and is a quieter location than in the main town. It took us around 15 minutes to walk into the town and the walk is fine

We ate at Taverna Pirosia which was delicious and excellent value for money and we had lunch at Taverna Stolis again lovely setting and really nice food. Would recommend both restaurants

It was also a bit noisy, but the Shkodra Carnival was happening in the park right in front of the hotel, so that’s completely understandable. On a normal day, I’m sure it would be perfectly fine

The bathroom was especially spacious, which I really appreciated. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent. Having parking available is also a big plus

I had a great stay at Grand Hotel Europa. The hotel has been newly refurbished and it feels very fresh and modern. The rooms were clean, well designed, and very comfortable

There were just a couple of small, insignificant details — like not enough instant coffee and tea options in the room

Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again

We’ve stayed here three times while traveling from London, and it is truly my favourite hotel. I travel often with my family, and we have consistently had the best experience every single time

Hotel was nice but the shower is by the toilet and there is no barrier so everytime you shower you have to dry everything and all your towels will be very wet. You can't kkep the toilet paper roll near toilet

The restaurant is really amazing, loved all the delicious dishes! We will never forget the taste of pizza! (We haven't tried it even in Italy) Special thanks to Mara, Elsie, Violetta and the whole wonderful team of Alion! You made our holiday the best!

Front desk and restaurant people were great and helpful. The beach section look sooo sad in the off season. Didn't know about the small playground on the beach in front of the hotel. Only one for miles (can get noisy)

This is a very nice new hotel on a good location. The beach is perfect and the water is transperant. Good food and comfortable rooms. Excellent reception and restaurant staff. Very nice place for the summer holidays.

location atmosphere and rooms is good ,value is perfect but clean not so the cleaners didn’t clean our room like 2 days until i asked them ,service at restaurant is perfect but the food may change some days cause i go crazy with same good nice hotel but you may change food and fire the cleaners and get good cleaners

The first day we did not have enough towels. There is no safe and tea and coffee making facilities. If possible, take a room on the higher floors because there are buildings with about 7 floors around

The pool is cleaned every day. Neat and with a considerable number of sun loungers. The beach is not far from the hotel

The hotel is located in a peaceful area, yet still close to everything you might need. What stood out to me the most was the delicious and varied breakfast served each morning

Within walking distance of the bustling town center. A comprehensive breakfast buffet, albeit served in Albanian style. The owner is (almost) always present and more than friendly and helpful

I have never seen such a responsible owners! The rooms were very spacious and clean, the bed sheets were changed almost every day. The pool and the sun beds area were nice and clean, perfect for relax after beach

It is customary in Albania to smoke in every corner. In the hotel smoking from the lobby floor goes up to the rooms and it's just unbearable. It's hard to breathe. The clothes stinked, even in the room.

There was a kettle, etc, for hot drinks, but only tea? There was a bit of a glitch when we went to book in; our rooms were not ready, and I felt that the receptionist wasn't very engaging

The location is really great for everything - but noisy from construktionwork right outside and the music from the restaurants, so remember earplugs. Our room was nice and very clean

The smoke from the smoking in the bar and in the restaurant in the evening (owner??) was so heavy - we could smell it on the 4. It is not okay, when we have a non-smoking room

She told us it would be about 10 - 15 mins, 1 hour later, we were still waiting with no real apology. Although I will say that she apologised at checkout then

Spacious, clean room with a lovely view; higher floors are preferable. The restaurant is rather dreary, the outdoor facilities need renovation, and there's a general lack of maintenance outside.

Great to have the use of a pool and loungers on the sea front. Conveniently located. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

They even left stones in the corners of the stairs, showing little attention to detail. The pool was dirty most of the time and was only cleaned on the second-to-last day of our stay

We also had the impression that we were given two of the worst rooms, as the staff often left other room doors open and those seemed larger and in better condition than ours

The carpet in the hallways leading to the rooms is just horrible, the walls are poorly finished, and the silicone around the bathroom sinks gives a dirty impression

The spa was fantastic, pool, steam room, ice bucket and sauna all cleaned regularly

A special mention for Sinan who went out of his way to help. My car tyres were low in pressure, and he volunteered to bring his own air compressor and filled my tyres with air. He also checked them again twice

For the evenings our dietary needs were met and the staff went over and above to ensure we were totally satisfied. We also made full use of the pool, sauna, and steam room. I had a very good massage during our stay

The hotel management should be proud of the staff they have, as they made our stay such a happy and memorable one, and to those staff members we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and hopefully we shall return and see you all again

Bit weird to drive on a bike path to get to the parking area though plenty of parking and free. Check in was sime enough and staff were friendly enough. Pool was not open due to an issue which was a shame
