Aghababyan's Hotel in Yerevan

This hotel is supposed to be a 4 or 5 star but is a 3, at best. Reason for the 2 star is primarily because of 1 absolutely rude female front desk personnel and the overall lack of English speaking staff- minus the front desk.
We had issues with the air conditioning in the room and apparently, so did a few others.
While the person managing the bar was super friendly and sweet, he wasn't able to understand what we wanted even after pointing out to something on the menu. Also, considering the price of wine everywhere else, a glass of wine here seemed over priced.
Breakfast was pretty good but is only served at 9am. However, since we had a booking with a holiday group, a request was made to have breakfast at 8.30.
The location is strictly alright with not much of a view. In hindsight, it would be preferable to stay closer to the town center as the options for things to see and do are much higher.
Lastly, the poor rating is primarily for the one personnel from front desk who was unbelievably rude. I would have to admit that there was a misunderstanding on our part about the check out time but coming from a service industry, it could have been handled so much better. That alone brings this rating down from a 3 to a 4. If Mira or whatever her name is learns the basics of hospitality, then the rating gets back to a 3!!
