Fantastic hotel with a great location and amazing views over the Bund and the Huangpu River. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the historic charm of the building makes the stay special. The staff is friendly and professional, always ready to help. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Shanghai.

The Broadway Mansions Hotel is a highly Shanghai-style hotel with a rich 'Haipai' (Shanghai-style) feel. Its location is superb; Waibaidu Bridge is right at its doorstep, and the Bund Source is just a stone's throw away, making it very convenient for a city walk.

The hotel staff are professional, meticulous, and thoughtful in their service.

The rooms are comfortable, and the views are excellent. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices.

Having just completed my second stay at the Broadway Mansions Hotel, I can confidently say it remains a uniquely captivating choice. It’s the blend of iconic Art Deco history and a prime location overlooking the Suzhou River and the Bund that truly draws me back.

The rooms are spacious, and the service consistently meets a genuine five-star standard—attentive, polished, and warm.

A delightful surprise was the complimentary photoshoot included with our room. The photographer guided us to the 18th-floor viewing platform, offering stunning cityskyline as the backdrop. That was a memorable touch.

Had a great stay! I think my room got a free upgrade this time, it was much more comfortable and spacious than my last visit – impressively large, actually. The only downside was the air conditioning was a bit noisy.

The front desk staff were excellent and gave us an upgraded room. The hotel's location is also superb, with breathtaking views.

The main drawback was the hotel's tour service. I had expected a guided tour, but I later found out at the observation deck that it's only for photos. The actual guided tour is downstairs and not offered daily. It would have been better if this information was provided upfront, as I was really looking forward to learning about the historical building.

Everything else was quite good.

For my mother's 90th birthday (***** calendar age), our family had already celebrated. This winter, we decided not to go to Sanya for a warm getaway, but instead chose the iconic Broadway Mansions Hotel to once again admire the beautiful Bund. I'd like to extend special thanks to Manager Shen from the department and Manager Huang at the front desk for their exceptional arrangements and thoughtful care. From the concierge to the front desk, guest rooms, and restaurants, every department provided polite, enthusiastic, and attentive service. The breakfast on the second floor offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, and on weekends, it's extended until 10:30 AM, perfect for leisurely local and international tourists. The afternoon tea and evening happy hour on the 14th floor are quite charming, with exquisite pastries accompanied by coffee. I was pleasantly surprised to find snacks like smoked salmon and braised pork skewers in the evening. Furthermore, while the room decor isn't luxurious, it's warm and comfortable, and the panoramic views of both sides of the Huangpu River are absolutely stunning. You can watch the sunrise over the east from your room, or take in the sunset over the Suzhou Creek in front of the Post Office Building. Overlooking the Russian Consulate, where I frequently went for visa applications decades ago, and the old Foreign Trade Association building across at the Bund Origin, I can't help but feel how time flies. I'll definitely return to Broadway Mansions Hotel if I get the chance!

This hotel is historic and boasts an excellent location; the Bund and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street are both within walking distance. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Our family had a fantastic stay!

This hotel is great, with nearly a century of history. If your twin room faces an inner street, the view might be a bit lacking. However, the room itself is quite comfortable, though the facilities and equipment show their age.

It's very convenient for getting around, with plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and activities nearby. Plus, you can see the Huangpu River from breakfast, which is a really nice view.

As a local from Shanghai, this is my third time booking this hotel on the Bund. My Christmas Eve gift to myself was to admire the Bund's night view, quietly appreciating its beauty. Room 1211 has an excellent location, offering breathtaking views day and night. My husband even said he loved the room's decor and color scheme! 👍💕👍

Opened in 1934, Broadway Mansions is almost a century old and is a key national cultural heritage site, now managed by Jin Jiang Hotels. Its location is superb, just north of the Waibaidu Bridge, offering convenient access to both Pudong and the Bund while avoiding excessive crowds. The lobby displays many century-old artifacts contemporary with the building.

Our suite was a corner room, and opening the window revealed stunning views of the Bund and the Lujiazui 'three-piece set' (referring to its three iconic skyscrapers), perfect for enjoying the night view and sunrise from the room.

While the facilities are aged, they are well-maintained. The bed firmness was just right, and it even had a genuine buckwheat pillow, which is a great blessing for those with neck issues. The air conditioning and heating were very strong, something a 'northerner' (someone from northern China, where cold winters are common) would highly appreciate! I'm not a fan of the old-fashioned bathtub-style showers, and various sockets require bringing your own adapters, as there are no direct USB ports. The breakfast offered everything expected, but the taste was unremarkable, with no particular highlights.

The service awareness and attitude of the front desk, restaurant, and door staff were all excellent.

The value for money is incredibly high. Overall, I felt the stay was much better than other Jin Jiang Hotels I've experienced. I would choose to stay here again.
