Pullman Shanghai Central in Shanghai

Excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. The front desk service was very polite and professional. Especially, there was a slim young man with glasses at the front desk who was particularly enthusiastic.

The hotel has an elegant ambiance, and the front desk service is attentive and thorough. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options. A particular shout-out to the young man at the front desk with silver-rimmed glasses; his service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Every corner of this hotel exudes an artistic vibe. The front desk service was superb, and the breakfast spread was incredibly diverse. The facilities were comprehensive and practical, and the hygiene was impeccable. It offers excellent value for money; I'll definitely be back!

I came to Shanghai for a boring May Day holiday and booked a Pullman suite.

The hotel was very busy, which really tested their reception capacity.

Accor Pullman in France is pretty good, with a nice design, and the aromatherapy scent is the same as in Hong Kong.

Facilities: Higher floor rooms would be better; try to choose a high-floor room to avoid the smell of mugwort from downstairs.

Transportation: Downstairs are Sun & Moon Light, Tianzifang, and the subway, so coming directly is very convenient for city work.

24th Floor Executive Lounge Supreme Experience: The executive lounge is great, with high-altitude views.

Dining: Both breakfast and the executive lounge are good, but there are too many foreigners – mostly Koreans and Westerners. The noodle chef even paused for a moment when he heard me speak Chinese, and then switched his language system. Koreans were coolly showing off watermelon, taking five plates at a time.

We had a very pleasant stay. My child's college entrance exam was nearby, making it very convenient to get to and from the venue. We chose the Pullman Hotel, and I'm very grateful to the front desk staff for allowing us to check in early when they found out it was for the college entrance exam. The hotel is super close to the exam venue, just a few hundred meters away. The hotel facilities are very comfortable, the room is spacious, and the overall experience was fantastic! 👍

Excellent hotel, excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfasts, veranda (breakfast by the fountain and pond is very nice), clean, fresh room, cleaning every day! We recommend staying and spending time in Shanghai and having a positive experience!

🏨 Pullman Shanghai Central *** This stay was about location and practicality.

Pullman Shanghai Central is centrally located, making it easy to get around Shanghai without feeling too far from everything. For a big city like Shanghai, the pricing is quite reasonable, especially considering the size of the hotel and its location.

Elite recognition was present but limited — a small upgrade and minimal amenities, nothing over the top.

There were, however, some clear positives:
• Free breakfast
• Lounge access
• Late checkout granted without much discussion

The late checkout, in particular, impressed me. It was handled smoothly, without questions or pushback, which made the stay much more comfortable.

Breakfast was not served in the lounge, so we had it at the hotel’s restaurant instead. As with many Asian hotels, the breakfast spread was generous, with a wide range of choices. Plenty to pick from, and no complaints there.

The main downside was the lounge setup. It isn’t an independent space but is shared with a restaurant / F&B area, which can be a little frustrating. I often had to explain that I had lounge access and was just looking for a quiet place to rest.

Other than that, service throughout the stay was impeccable. Requests were handled efficiently, and the late checkout was granted with minimal fuss — a pleasant surprise.

A practical, comfortable stay in central Shanghai — not flashy, but it delivered where it mattered.

This stay was excellent! The room was very clean and I was completely satisfied with the experience. Steven at the front desk provided great service, and the breakfast selection was quite rich too.

Fantastic overall experience! The room was spotless and tidy, and the bedding was so soft I slept like a baby. Great soundproofing too, very quiet. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were friendly and patient. It's also super convenient for getting around. Excellent value for money, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!
