Wow!! Returned home on 9th November after a wonderful week here. Second time in protaras but first time at this hotel. Hotel spotlessly clean and staff ao friendly and helpful. Ideal location next to the protatas pier which was so handy for a boat trip we took. 10/ 15 minute walk to the main strip but there are restaurants around the hotel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotel lobby smells amazing and is so clean. Bar staff are so efficient and friendly. Good selection of drinks on offer and reasonably priced. Nice pool area and beach virtually next to the hotel. Lots of other beaches close by to chose from.

We chose no extra package so we didn’t experience breakfast etc. but overall room was clean, reception was friendly and helpful.

Hotel is ideally located with a wide range of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Lovely beach nearby too. We stayed in a superior room with sea view. I stayed at Tofinis Apartments in September 2025 with a group of 10 people. Honestly, I was a bit worried beforehand because of some mixed reviews, but overall it was a good experience. Even after reading the positive reviews, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Firstly, Tofinis is located at the best end of the Ayia Napa beach, golden sands run into clear blue warm water without unwanted stones or seaweed. This is the best hotel I’ve ever been to well worth the money. The rooms are impressive, they have 4 restaurants that you can book once each and they are completely free and the food is unbelievable! The rooms are okay and nicely modern. The bathroom is also modern and clean, but not very well maintained — we had to shower with slippers on due to black mold on the shower floor. We have just returned home after another great holiday at the Amethyst Hotel. What makes the Amethyst really special is the staff throughout the hotel, they are all very friendly and helpful. I spent a very relaxing and funny week at the Amethyst Hotel at Aiya Napa. I need to praise the entertainer who made sure that I laugh every day. He was called by different names daily by other tourists as well. (The Buyas, The Cardinator, Pipi Johnny etc) If you choose the Amethyst Hotel dont hesitate to look for the entertainer.
