Bohemian Gardens Hotel in Protaras

Arrived at 9.50pm, quick check in by a friendly young lady. We had missed the evening meal but a sandwich and apple were left in the room for us. (Very dry) went in the bin. There was only 2 small milk pods so not enough for us to have a cuppa. Managed to get one from the bar. Breakfast had plenty of choice but only honey once throughout the full week. Due to being diabetic I have yogurt banana and honey each morning. Hubby was not impressed with cooked breakfast. Twice we did without and twice we went out for breakfast. Evening meal was much better, carved meats and different theme each evening. Soup which was lovely, if you didn’t go at 7.00 it was cold. Nice choice of bread. Salads, desserts always nice choice, also fruit and cheese. Fruit juice was not fresh. Pool, always plenty of beds but the rule about not leaving towels was not adhered to. Bali beds taken quickly with towels. There is a lifeguard.pool bar not cheap. €12 for a cocktail. Staff very friendly and work extremely hard. Our room was kept clean throughout and towels changed regularly just never enough tea/coffee/ milk.we did take our own fortunately but the chiller doesn’t keep anything cool and so milk turned by the next day. We had a room looking over the pool, other rooms overlooked the car park. Balcony was big enough, 2 chairs which were comfy and 1 table. Beds very comfortable with 2 pillows. Aircon kept room cool when we could get it to work ( instructions would be helpful). Hairdryer, kettle, chiller, telephone and Wi-Fi. Entertainment, TERRIBLE, seating uncomfortable. Big shout out to Speedy - Kavita, she runs around her full shift in every area. Always a smile always being helpful. A big asset to the hotel. There’s football matches being shown but also a pub and an Irish bar just along from hotel. We hopefully will return as there’s some nice walks along the sea front into Protaras. Or get the bus into Ayia Napa for €2. Bus stop is left out of hotel, end of rd., turn left up to roundabout, turn right & about 10yards.comes every 10-15 mins.

As returning guests we couldn’t have been looked after any better . From arrival everyone was so friendly and it always feels like coming home . We spent 6 weeks here , 2 weeks in the beautiful room 620 then 4 weeks in the swim up bungalow room 006. Spotlessly clean on both . Big shout out to the cleaning team. Restaurant team always busy , friendly and efficient , bar staff and helpers are a delight , absolutely love them all and will miss the banter and laughs. Tommy , Christos and management you have got an amazing hotel here Reception day and night staff are truly the best . Little things to think of as improvements would be iced coffee on the all inclusive, ice cream in the restaurant with the desserts, full length mirrors in the rooms and bedside tables with drawers or storage , more entertainment choices of an evening ( same acts every week got a bit monotonous ) … apart from that this hotel is one I return to again and again . Thanks for another wonderful holiday and see you all next season xxx

Stayed here on an all inclusive basis for 2 weeks, (4 adults). Hotel is nicely situated away from the centre of Protaras just €12 taxi ride away or within walking distance. Staff at the hotel were lovely, friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and functional , I found the beds comfortable too. The restaurant was large enough and never full, food was plentiful, well cooked and presented. All tastes were catered for with vegetarian options, but could be a little bit repetitive. AI drinks were restricted to local spirits but there was a reasonable variety of cocktails, soft drinks and both Keo and Leon beers, there was a Carlsberg pump but don’t know if that was included. Pool is clean and reasonably sized and no shortage of sunbeds, there are notices regarding the reservation of sunbeds during the night but everyone seemed to respect them so don’t know if they were enforced. One downside for us was the nightly entertainment which consisted of 4 nights of Karaoke and 2 nights of female singers and one of a female duo.The soloists seemed to have the same playlist and to be generous varying abilities. For this reason I have not given 5 stars.

What an amazing stay! First thing I am going to say is please ignore the bad reviews! This hotel is perfect! We stayed here for a week on a couples holiday for my birthday (first time In Cyprus) and it was just what we wanted. Facilities, room, and pool was lovely and the buffet was the best food I’ve had abroad (half board). We got the perfect beach front view and the pool is not too big and not over crowded with a pool bar open till late. I recommend the ice coffees as they are lovely. Staff are great and just what you want (ignore the reviews) We were able to have a shower and get a towel on the day we left due to our late flight home and this was so helpful. The area is located by many restaurants and the beach is a 15 min walk max. I stayed here for my birthday and they surprised me with two bottles of wine! Which was so lovely and kind. Cleaners are so helpful and never disturbed us till we were ready. Overall the only bad thing I can say is it’s a little noisy at night if you stay at the front but nothing major! Will defo be back for sure!!!!

Overall- Smaller hotel, clean, modern with friendly staff. All inclusive option is decent cocktails are good but sweet, ciders aren’t included as well as certain spirits like martini, still plenty of options. Hotel is set away from the main ***** of Protaras but plenty of bars/beach around the hotel. Tip: Hire a buggy for the day and explore the island more to Cyprus than protaras ***** and Ayia Napa, also the trip to Varosha ghost city is a must. 4/5 Rooms- Really modern and very clean beds are fairly comfy and the rooms are cleaned every day. Little on the small side but still managed to fit everything in for 2 weeks. 5/5 Pool- Clean pool and area, plenty of sun beds the toilets around the pool are immaculate too which is rare in some hotels. 5/5 Food- I’m a fussy eater but there was something to eat every night. It’s not inedible like other reviews say it’s just repetitive which is like any other AI hotel. Every night was a different theme The snack bar on an afternoon serves good food at a decent portion. 4/5 Staff- Really friendly staff shout to Max, Monica and Kabita and Tomos for making us feel welcome for 2 weeks! We will definitely be returning to Bohemian Gardens.

The hotel was so lovely and clean staff where amazing and friendly would highly recommend bohemian gardens hotel we went for our honeymoon and really enjoyed ourselves the staff just made you’re stay that much easier the food was lovely also different things for everyone. The rooms where cleaned when you wanted them to be the hotel is above and beyond 4 stars feels more like 5 stars we will he back 100% thank you again for a lovely stay.

We came as a group of 7 family and friends and we were all really impressed with the hotel. It was super clean, everything ran like clockwork and the staff really did make our stay. Max is an absolute asset to your team! We had lots of fun and laughs with him and his drinks were spot on, thanks Max! Kabita is a total ray of sunshine and works her socks off, we hope this is recognised :) We all commented on the excellent quality of food, gorgeous salads, loads of choice and the meat eaters really enjoyed what was on offer each day. Also, I NEVER eat desserts on holiday as they always seem the same but this time I was stuck into tiramisu and tasty cakes every day . Compliments to the chefs! The restaurant staff worked really efficiently, quick to take drinks orders and clear away plates. No sunbed wars at a ridiculous hour, either! The only issue we came up with was a lack of a full length mirror in the rooms - that would be a great addition! Thanks for an excellent stay, we all had an amazing holiday xx

Returning guests for our second year, and it was incredible to see the changes that had been made from our previous visit. Staff work incredibly hard to ensure that you have the best possible experience, the hotel is spotless and the food was plentiful with lots of choice.Big shout out to kabita who always had a big smile no matter how busy she was,Max was the best and Isobella in the restaurant always went above and beyond so that you had an amazing experience. Look forward to returning the future.

I had a wonderful stay at Bohemian Gardens Hotel in Cyprus. Everything was enjoyable. The cleanliness and the room was spotless the staff was kind and friendly Check-in and check-out were efficient. Overall, I was very satisfied………………..

Just came home today from 10 nights at Bohemian Gardens. The hotel is stunning and extremely clean. Reception area has a lovely aroma which hits you as soon as you walk in. We stayed in room 503 which is sea view, room was very modern and have to say the cleaners do a great job with room being cleaned by 9.30am every day. Pool area is lovely and is easy enough to get a sunbed as long as you get down before 9.30am. I did notice as the days went on the hotel got busier which made a difference to amount of sunbeds available which is to be expected with more guests. Food is very nice, we stayed all inclusive and was always plenty of variety and tasted great. I do not understand the moaners on here i could not fault the food at all. All inclusive drinks were also very good and generous with the alcohol beware three drinks got me very drunk very quickly haha. One point which I wouldn't say negative but I feel I need to mention is, it was very noticeable to us how different we were treated by the bar staff and restaurant staff in comparison to returning guests. There was a young lady who worked the bar who would have a stern face with no smile when serving, we observed this on several occasions and when returning guests ordered she was full of smiles and compliments. I actually put this to the test one day and sadly this proved my point she was smiling minutes before then as soon as serving us her face changed and she was borderline rude as if it was an effort to get us two drinks as paying guests! I have to say the two ladies on reception were wonderful and always very helpful and the night time bar man was also very welcoming. I did give the benefit of the doubt that some of the staff may be stressed or hot working in the heat but when I witnessed the change in demeanor, it was a bit of a shame as we really liked the hotel but this being honest really annoyed us to the point we spent our last 3 daytimes at the beach instead. Overall wonderful holiday, area has plenty of restaurants but some are tucked away so make sure you explore all nearby roads and cut down between hotels as it took us a couple of days to find our way around.
