Sunrise Oasis Hotel & Waterpark in Protaras

I live here with my eight-year-old son and can truly recommend it for both couples and families, diffrent pool areas makes it easy to chose. It’s a great hotel where everything is easily accessible—the distance to the sea and shopping is just a minute or so. There is a wide variety of food that suits everyone. A bonus is that you can book different restaurants to dine at even if you have all-inclusive, and you’re also assigned sun loungers that are yours for the entire stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, The whole hotel, pool and the room is fresh and clean.

Fabulous hotel, easy to access everything locally. Rooms are beautiful and the hotel is spotless. Food/drink is really nice much better than your usual all inclusive. Staff can't do enough for you. Can't find a fault at all, the hotel is great.

The hotel and its staff excel in every way. The staff work so hard to ensure your holiday is the best. The slides are great, as is the pool, but maybe a little cold. The food was plentiful, tasty and had a good variety. We ate at the Grill, the Italian and Greek. All had the same excellent service and good quality food. The hotel is one the cleanest hotels I’ve ever been to! Entertainment in the evenings was good, we always enjoyed, especially the magic act, he was great. Daytime, the entertainment team did well to engage and get everyone involved. The daytime magic show was so funny! Hotel is an easy, straightforward walk to the Protaras *****, and less than 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches. We had a good sized room, with a beautiful view. (Storage in the room was a little on the smaller size though) We travelled as a family, with an 8 yr old. All 3 of us say the same, that this hotel is one of the best we’ve been to! Thank you so much to the staff at this hotel that made our holiday so enjoyable.

Excellent hotel. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The bar staff in the lobby are so lovely and attentive . Food is great could be a little warmer in main restaurant at times. The dining out option is a great bonus. Snack bar at the pool is excellent . I’m very fussy and I was well fed all holiday. Branded drinks , milkshakes and slushes all available. The icecream Is delicious. Honestly couldn’t find any faults with the hotel. It’s extremely clean and in a great location near the ***** and Beach. Fig tree bay is also a short walk. Entertainment is typical kids disco and show . Great for young children. There’s a games room and kids club. For us the daytime activities were just right not too much and no pressure to get involved. We’ve been to Cyprus many times and this is Definetly the best hotel we’ve stayed in . We will Definitely use sunrise again. Thank you for an excellent holiday we didn’t want to leave!

This is very well run hotel and we had an enjoyable stay as a family of 4. - Sun bed allocation is a game changer, and makes for a much more relaxing stay. - Bar service good with good quality products - I've experienced High end 5 star all inclusive buffets and really cheap and nasty buffets this one is good, its modest selection but prepared well from good ingredients, we all found something tasty every meal. - We tried two of the dine out restaurants that you can book as part of the all inclusive package .. the greek and the pan asian - these were excellent (You can pick a 3 course meal from the standard menu and 2 drinks) just make sure you try and book them on the day you arrive. - Staff were all great, smiley and happy to help .. but it was the first week of the season. The only negative point is that in April the entertainment and bar action was inside so you were basically sat in the hotel reception in harsh bright lighting. I'm guessing in the summer season that action spills out around the pool bar area which is probably better. You are within easy walking distance of the main ***** of Protaras and the beautiful fig tree bay beach ... and there is a lidl next door.

We was meant to be going to a different hotel, but easyJet changed our hotel last minute to somewhere that looked terrible so we paid extra to come to the Sunrise Oasis instead. After a stressful start to the holiday (thanks easyJet!) this hotel was our saving grace! The hotel itself is kept clean and well maintained, the staff are so friendly and the entertainment team are just lovely! They cater well for families, they even looked after our boys for a few hours while we went to the spa at their neighbour hotel! Our room was nice and spacious, beds were comfortable. The food is really nice and tastey and you have the chance to go to their other restaurants on the *****. All are very good and you get a lot! You also get 2 drinks each included. We particularly loved the Greek restaurant. The drinks at the hotel are brilliant, this is the only all inclusive hotel I’ve been to where the beer tastes like proper beer and the cocktails and spirits are proper alcoholic. Strawberry daiquiri is amazing! The main pool was heated and the water park was good fun! You allocate a sunbed for your stay so no need to rush down at 6am to fight for one! Last but not least, the location is great, the ***** is just across the road, 3min ish! And the beach another 5. Don’t think twice about coming to this hotel, just book it! It really is a lovely hotel

Everything and I mean everything down to the cleanliness, the facilities, food and most importantly ALL the staff was absolutely spectacular. Most importantly the head of entertainment she was amazing with the 2 children in our family always putting so much care and effort in to making them smile. The bar staff were all so friendly and made the place have such a happy and amazing atmosphere. We was greated with a smile constantly by EVERY member of staff. Couldn't recommend enough for a family holiday! I will be a hundred percent be returning next year.

We’ve just had the most incredible stay at Oasis Sunrise. Every single staff member has been amazing so friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our holiday special. From the restaurant team constantly keeping everything spotless and clearing plates so efficiently, to the entertainment and bar staff who truly made the experience unforgettable, we couldn’t have asked for more.

The food has been some of the best we’ve ever had in a hotel, with so much variety and consistently high quality. As well as great food at the hotel they also give you the option to dine out of the hotel twice during our 5 night stay at a choice of 4 different restaurants on the ***** which was about a 5 minute walk, we visited the Lemongrass Asian restaurant and the Marcello’s Italian restaurant and the food at both these restaurants were really high quality and again the staff were lovely

Although every staff member we met was wonderful, we’d love to give a special mention to a few who really stood out:

• Nisan and Roy at the main bar – always so welcoming, attentive, and full of energy.
• Raj at the pool bar – brilliant service and such a friendly presence.
• Raj on the door – he made us smile every single evening, especially dancing along with the kids’ disco.
• Tunder, Martin, and Oliver from the entertainment team – honestly some of the best hotel entertainment we’ve ever experienced.
• Tracy at reception – always cheerful, helpful, and happy to assist with anything.


The whole team at Oasis Sunrise made our holiday one to remember. We can’t thank them enough and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic, welcoming, and fun-filled stay.

The hotel is spotless and the staff are welcoming and attentive. The rooms are a little basic and lacking in 'design' charm but they are large, in good order and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds are comfy and air con works well. The Waterpark is brilliant and it was great that it was heated during October. The main pool was on the cold side but ok when you get in. Gym was decent enough for a basic workout and the kids football pitch is a great addition. We thought the drinks were really good and loved the cocktails they had on offer. The ice cream around the pool was also really good. The Resturant buffet for all 3 meals was just ok, we've done a few all Inclusive now's and this lines up with most of the average ones. We've had much better but paid much more for those. It was always kept well stocked up but aside from the pizza I wouldn't describe any of it as great. At breakfast the omelettes are ready made rather than cooked fresh. The selection of fruit, bread and pastries is on the small side and only basic cereals are offered. Lunch and dinner was essentially the same, some meats / fish in a sauce and then some sort of potato's or rice to go with it. The dessert selection was limited and quite repetitive. The pizza is fresh and excellent though so if they did more of this style prep I'm sure it could be improved. We also ate at the American, Greek and Brazilian and we loved all three, it's a huge plus point for this hotel. Overall it was a perfect 1 week winter break, weather was superb and as we booked direct with the hotel it was a absolute bargain at £2000 for 4 of us for a week during half term.

Beautiful location,rooms were nice and roomy and spotlessly clean. ALL the staff were exceptionally friendly,polite and helpful, We were all inclusive, Restaurant was excellent,from the staff,service to food! Lunch and evening meal was varied,plentiful and delicious . We were pleased with the fact that the sunbeds and towels were allocated by the room number,so no scramble for a sunbed every day as we had the same one's all through our stay. I unfortunately had a fall one day at the beach, but back at the hotel a Restaurant staff member called for there 1st aid person,who was also a lifeguard named George,he was attentive and caring and looked after me...thank you so much George! Almost forgot to mention that there was entertainment every night too, I haven't any negatives to say about this Hotel, All around Excellence! Oh I forgot to mention the water park on site too.
