This property is misleadingly presented as a hotel, but in reality it is not managed like one at all. There was no proper hotel reception handling our booking. We had to walk around multiple buildings because no block number or clear check-in instructions were provided.
When we finally found a reception, they refused to help and told us to contact a private apartment owner instead. On arrival, we were even asked to pay cash, which was very unprofessional.
Breakfast was included in our booking, but it was never provided. Reception refused service and redirected us again to the host, who was unreachable.
The room itself had a strong unpleasant smell and was not clean, which is unacceptable. This experience does not match the description or the star rating advertised online.
The only positive point is the location, but overall this was a very stressful and disappointing stay, especially for a family.
This was without question the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I have traveled a lot.
The location itself already feels depressing. The entire area looks like a construction zone that was never finished. Half-built buildings, cars parked everywhere with absolutely no place to park, constant chaos, stressed and tired people, and zero sense of order or hospitality.
It started with the hotel sending us to the wrong building via message, including a location pin. We parked there, took all our luggage out, and then had to walk around the entire complex for about 15 minutes to finally find the correct block, D2-Block. By then we were already frustrated and exhausted.
When we finally arrived at the 23th floor, we found what can only be described as a makeshift reception area inside an apartment. Four men were slouched on a couch playing FIFA, completely uninterested in guests. The guy behind the desk barely looked at us, as if our presence was an inconvenience and not even worth acknowledging.
When my girlfriend politely said she was annoyed that we had been sent to the wrong location, his response was simply: “Sorry, but that’s just how it is.”
When she mentioned that Booking.com stated parking was available, he replied: “I also can’t park. That’s it.” No apology, no effort to help, no responsibility.
Check-in was supposedly from 1 PM. We arrived at exactly 2 PM and were told the room was not ready. His explanation was that “hotels are between 1 and 4 everywhere in the world,” basically lecturing us on how the world works instead of honoring their own stated check-in time. This is the only hotel in my life where I was unable to check in at the time they themselves advertised.
Before paying, he suggested showing us the room first. That turned out to be the final dealbreaker. The room was extremely messy, unfinished, with bedding lying around, barely furnished, and honestly felt more like an abandoned apartment or a crack den than a hotel room. It was completely unacceptable.
We declined, left immediately, and were actually relieved not to stay there. As bad as the experience was, I am grateful we did not spend the night.
This place has nothing to do with hospitality, professionalism, or basic respect for guests. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else in Batumi.
Yep, we had to clean the room ourselves, take out the garbage but as I said before - it was just a rented studio.
The breakfast was brought to our room every morning by a local lady. The breakfast was very tasty balanced and sometimes even with extras (like a homemade cake). The lady was very polite and friendly.
We lived on floor 20 (the reception was on floor 15). When we needed something - we just went to the reception.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay there as the beach was nearby, the view was beautiful, there was everything you need during your holiday - once we washed all our white clothes and one more time we washed the towels, so it's just a normal rented flat where you live on your own and take of yourself. If you really need posh service, you have to choose Sheraton for example.
The location was great and we only slept in our room so nothing to complain of as the price was really low to compare to other places in Batumi.
