The Albatross Hotel in Batumi is an absolute disgrace. My wife personally spoke to the owner the day before to confirm our booking, and he promised everything was fine. We arrived only to be shoved into ONE room for FOUR adults. This is not just incompetence — it’s deception.

Now we’re stuck sitting in the lobby, wasting time and scrambling to find another hotel for the next three nights. The management is unprofessional, unreliable, and downright dishonest. Stay far, far away from this dump

A nice hotel right in the center of the old town!
The staff is polite and pleasant. Quite normal rooms, although new repairs would be good.

Very bad experience on July 29, 2023. No room offered at arrival even with a reservation confirmed for room N° 4 and already paid through Airbnb. Ieven had to go to the police to complain about the incident and present the payment receipts. The man at the front desk is a nice man but the owner is dishonest. I cannot make a comment about the hotel itself since I have not been accommodated.
