Very nice small hotel in a beautiful building and a lovely area. The rooms are modern and comfortable, the service is friendly and helpful. Parking in the area can be a problem, unless you get a spot on the hotel grounds. Public transport is close by, and the center of the city is within walking distance.

I had to cancel my booking already in advance to the following reasons:

- No customer service, as multiple emails were answered incorrectly.

- The hotel was unreachable by phone, despite several attempts.

- Completely inflexible, especially considering the room rate of €220 per night. So e.g. I wanted to extend my stay by one hour to 12:00 PM which was abslotelly undoabel for this hotel, especially since most hotels generally offer a 12:00 PM checkout time anyway.

If the service is that bad already in advance I do not want to know how it is when you are there...

Very friendly beautiful hotel in a perfect location. We stayed there for 5 nights during Christmas time. We enjoyed it a lot and will come back again. Thanks a lot to the team.

Good and courteous service. The rooms are nice and clean. It's close to the subway/metro, making it easy to get everywhere.

Excellent hotel on a quiet street even though close to the train station and the historical city center.
Post renovation, the facilities and rooms are very well designed and welcoming. The staff was helpful and the included breakfast quite good. Just the reception is not 24hours and there is no food or bar service besides breakfast.
There is parking (limited, for a feee) on premise.
I highly recommend the Hotel Uhland. it is unique and truly enjoyable.

A nice and small hotel close to the old city Munich. The rooms are fine and large enough, the location is convenient. There are various café and restaurants nearby, the old city is 20 min away walking.
There is a limited parking in the hotel itself, cheaper than a long-term street parking, but still expensive.

Beautifully renovated villa in a quiet yet central location. This hotel has been tastefully renovated with excellent attention to detail. After a long day of travel it was like a home from home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even arranged breakfast earlier than normal as we had an early flight. The breakfast itself had a lovely selection breads, cheeses,meats, cereals etc.
The rooms have loads of character and the beds are super comfortable.
The location suited us as we wanted somewhere quiet but also relatively close to the town center. The underground was only around the corner and 2 stops from the center. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel staff are friendly but having come here several times over the last few years I feel the quality is slipping. Fridge wasn't emptied from the previous guests, large cockroach and spider in the room, broken curtain, toilet takes a really long time to refill (a problem when you have a family), cleaner came into our room unexpectedly, parts of breakfast runs out quickly if you don't get there early. A truck came at midnight to load dirty laundry. Depending on the room the mattresses are firm or worn out.
Nothing the hotel can change, but I also feel like the area isn't as quiet anymore. None of these things are deal breakers for me but it's also not a cheap hotel.

If you want a good nights sleep do not stay here. Very noisy and not isolated house. And very old. Also has a Very rude and unfriendly staff. Indeed the house is charming, but it without doubt not worth the very high price! Trust me, you can find a much better place in Munich.
