Throughout my stay, the room key card failed to open the door on two or three separate days, which was very frustrating. The in-room facilities were also disappointing: the fridge didn’t work, the floor lamp was broken, and even after the maintenance staff came, nothing was fixed and nobody followed up afterward. The air conditioning didn’t function at all, making it unbearably hot at night.
Housekeeping was only available if requested one day in advance. When they did come, they neither replaced the drinking water nor cleared the trash, leaving me wondering what cleaning had actually been done. After that experience, I decided not to let them enter again.
Despite all these problems, the hotel was still busy every day, with large tour groups checking in one after another. The breakfast restaurant was already crowded with long lines from as early as 6:30 a.m.
