Where to stay in Berlin

The location of the hotel is perfect, there are many restaurants and shops and subway stations close by. We didn’t use their parking but the Contipark in front of the hotel (13€ per 24h with the PCard). The hotel is clean and looks new. The internet was good and there were USB and USB-C outlets as well.

I had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Berlin Ku’damm as a solo traveler. The location was perfect — safe, quiet, and close to public transport and shopping areas. My room was clean, modern, and very comfortable after long days exploring Berlin. The staff were friendly, and the warm cookie at check-in was a nice touch. I’d definitely stay here again for a solo trip.

Great location, just a 10-minute walk from the Zoo station, making it super convenient to get around. It's also right next to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and very close to Kurfürstendamm, so dining options are plentiful. The room was clean and the facilities were quite new. I was very satisfied with my three-night stay! Berlin is a really fun city.

I booked two connecting rooms. It was a lot of fun. The room was very clean and well-maintained. The location is very convenient. Highly recommended for a stay.

Comfy bed and great water pressure shower. Somehow thw room cleanliness so so eapecially the carpet looks dirty. The rest are ok. They have welcome cookies when chck in. As for those whos driving, parking inside cost euro35/day elae u can park at he street (10pm -9am free)

It is a good hotel for a family to stay via travelling Berlin. The hotel location is good.

Good location, large rooms. We have been to this hotel for many years, but unfortunately, this year, starting with the reception day, the smell of fried fish is terrible, like a cheap eatery. All the furniture in the room is worn out, the bed creaks a lot. For 5 stars - you need to ask for a dental kit at the reception, water-compliment put 1 small bottle for 2 people.

A hotel with many rooms, conveniently located near the zoo and a metro station. The breakfast offered a good variety and quality. Our superior room was spacious and well-equipped with all amenities. There's a wellness area with a sauna, though it was a shame the steam bath was out of order.

The hotel's decor and facilities feel a bit dated, giving it the vibe of an old local establishment. The room was very spacious, more than enough for two people, and the bathroom was also large, though the sink was quite high – perhaps for taller Europeans. Good hotel for business, all good

Good location which is like 3 minutes walk to the underground. A lot of restaurants nearby in which you will not have any problem for food. The rooms are clean and the staff are helpful.

I got an upgrade to an absolutely breathtaking suite. Upon arrival the doorman opened the cab door, took out my suitcase from the trunk of the car, and one of the porters delivered my suitcase to my suite. The suite was simply amazing, featuring a living room, a conference room, a large bedroom with a king size bed, a jacuzzi, and beautiful furniture in art deco design with a lot of attention to details...

Arrived late, around midnight. The downstairs bar was lively, and breakfast was plentiful. The room itself was very quiet, perfect for resting.

Although location was a bit off on the map, but it is relatively close to the Messe Berlin (about 15mins). The rooms were clean and looked relatively new and they served a nice breakfast spread.

I have had a very positive experience of travelling alone. The facilities are well-maintained and include a pool, gym and sauna. Breakfast is also delicious. The staff are all approachable and demonstrate a high level of professionalism. Feelings calm and safe. I am pleased to have chosen to stay here, and I would like to express my gratitude.

Clean good and near attraction Place

It's a very young and vibrant hostel. Many young people, would be kind of rowdy and loud in the common area, but the space is so big and comfortable. There's a guest kicthen to cook your meals too. Also, I actually also lost my key card and they replaced it for free!

I stayed one night only in single room with toilet and shower. Self check-in although you could use reception. I person was near the kiosks to help you if you got stuck. Nice vibe. Spacious common area to meet fellow travellers. Desks for working. Kitchen had some hot plates. The hostel is walking distance to the section of the Berlin Wall with art works. Supermarkets near by.

This was a great place to stay with KitKat Club, Tresor & Berghain nearby. Got on great with all of my dorm-mates during my 5 nights stay over the long Easter weekend. I highly recommend this hostel.

The ground floor lobby was crowded and noisy, even though they offered some entertainment facilities and dining options. The shower gel in the shower wasn't refilled in a timely manner either. However, the price was quite affordable, and there's a bus stop nearby, so the location is decent.

The Hotel was really amazing, the room was clean and smelled nice. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything you could need. Just the water pressure in the shower was relatively weak. Otherwise a really nice experience!

Do not take the rooms that have internal view on reception level as you will suffer from the noise coming from the events that are organised there in the evening.

Pillow and bed are not comfortable at all, because of this, I didn't sleep well at all and my back was hurt! Tried to ask the staff if they have other type of pillow, but they said they only have one type of pillows. If your room is facing the tram track side, good luck. You can hear so much noise in the night and bother your sleep.

Located in the city centre with U station, S station and bus stops nearby. Very convenient for city tour. The staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast is yummy with lots of variety. Definitely a good choice staying at Berlin. Will definitely come back if I visit Berlin again.

I had a fabulous stay for 4 nights and the location is near shopping mall, underground and Christmas market. The hotel has a good reputation by Hilton and you never have wrong decision. In addition, the breakfast is very good and sausages not every day served. I highly recommend.

The room rate was a bit pricey during the exhibition. While the hotel is conveniently located near Alexanderplatz and the Berlin TV Tower, it's still about an 800-meter walk. The breakfast selection was quite limited. However, the front desk staff was quite friendly.

We booked the standard room and it was little small. But it clean and everything is working. We stayed in a family room - but it was tiny - there was hardly room to move! I didn’t expect a suite, but I definitely expected a family sized room - not a double room but with extra beds - especially for the price! Was so small that it had a sliding door to the bathroom to save space, but (by design) it didn’t close properly, so there was a gap all the way round and it didn’t lock - so no privacy...

The service was very friendly and the room quality was excellent. Check-in was at 3:00 PM, so there was a long wait. There were a lot of people arriving at 3:00 PM. It's very conveniently located next to the station. The flixbus stops nearby, which is very convenient.

The room is spacious and comfortable. It's a little far from Alexander Square, but you can get there in under 10 minutes by tram. We only booked a room, so I can't comment on the food. The staff is friendly and polite.

It's alright. It's close to a tram stop where you can transfer to a train or light rail. There are many supermarkets nearby, and it's about 2 kilometers from Alexanderplatz, so transportation is quite convenient. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the airport.

We spend 3 nights in the Superior Suite. The hotel is easy to find and navigate to, the free parking is a huge benefit. Checkin went smooth, we were in our room within 10 minutes after parking so that was nice after a long drive there. Actually, this hotel is quite good, with a very high cost performance. It has two large rooms and one small room, a double bed and a sofa bed, all large beds, so you can sleep comfortably. Aircon was making weird noises intermittently. It sounded like an espresso machine. Room is a good size. The bed could be more comfortable. It is rather on the firm side. It is an ok hotel but I don’t think I would book it again. There are plenty options in the area if you need to stay close by.

We stayed 3 nights at the Holiday Inn Berlin City East Side during our weekend in Berlin and were fully satisfied with the quality of the service. Beautiful room, very flexible staff, ideal location, and great value for money. We will definitely come back if we visit Berlin again.

I was told on the reception that “check-in from 3 pm” doesn’t mean that I can check in at 3:05 pm. It means that I can’t check-in earlier than 3 pm. Waiting didn’t take long at the end, but what kind of scam is it?! Or is it a membership bonus? The room is spacious and look nice, but has quite distinctive cigarette’s smell.

The hotel is modern and very beautiful. There are some restaurants in the immediate vicinity but most of them are not great. However, one bakery is superb (at the campus only a minute walk away). Very friendly staff (the courteous Mr. Kunal checked me in). Unfortunately the coffee which I got as a welcome drink was the worst coffee I had this year (embarassing).

Clean hotel at a good location. Employee flew into a rage when i told him i parked my car at the garage and wanted to pay when leaving. Having your car parked at the day of check out is only possible until 2 pm.

The location was great, and it was convenient to store my luggage if I arrived early. I was a bit surprised when they charged a 50 euro deposit at first, but if you don't use the mini-bar, they refund it minus the city tax!

Great place and location. I could walk to most places of interests. Also many train, bus and tram services outside of hotel. The room is big, do is the toilet. But the single bed is very narrow. So worry will fall out of bed if I turn on my side. Good that 3 pillows are provided.

Although the hotel is right next to the MRT station, the soundproofing is excellent! We were even able to switch to a room with a bathtub! For breakfast, there weren't many hot food options, but there was a wide variety of choices overall. The lobby on the first floor offers free popcorn and lemon water, which really makes you feel at home! I highly recommend this hotel! They even gave me a small dessert...

Don’t know why they gave me a room for wheelchair user which I obviously am not and therefore the facilities are not ergonomic for me at all. Hotel staff called me after 10pm on my first night to ask me to go downstairs to sign a document is bizarre as it was already my bedtime. The hair dryer in the bathroom is completely useless. Breakfast has limited selection and the same food is served every morning

On the whole zero complaints about the hotel itself. The complex is gigantic and much larger than expected, and as such, made finding reception quite difficult. The ‘front’ of the hotel is actually on the other side of the building than you’d expect - I.E. from the local tram stop, the entrance is on the opposite side than the one facing you. However, I’m unsure if we’ve arrived in an ‘offseason’...

The room was quite nice. The complex is huge, but the restaurant sells the ice cubes (???), guess is not part of the hotel. It is a lit bit far from the city, but the quality of the room and toilet was great. And comfy beds as well. AC working perfectly as was quite hot weather. Staff was professional and polite. Toiletries were quite good as well and we manage to have a great stay there.

Nice big rooms, our room had a bath shower, they don’t offer kettles on the room or coffee and teas. No ammenities except shower gel and handwash. Had a nice decent tv and chairs in the room too. Check in and hotel staff seemed like they didn’t care. 15-20mins away from the Berlin central

Decent hotel, basic enough but very tidy. The reception staff were very nice , Yanit, if spelt correct looked after us and was great to deal with. A little far out from the centre of Berlin but that’s not a major issue. Shop was very expensive. Worth a visit as decent value for money to stay in.

Just one stop away from the main train station, this Mercure is a bit older compared to others. It's decent, nothing outstanding but no major flaws either. The soundproofing in the rooms isn't great; it can be a bit noisy.

Busy hotel .. everything nearby Supermarket , attractive point , transportation all in walking distance. But there is only one bottle of sparkling water for one stay. Breakfast expensive. Overall value for money.
