Regarding the associated restaurant: We arrived Friday evening and were hungry. The menu stated the restaurant was open until 8:30 p.m. Unfortunately, we were turned away. Today, Saturday. We arrived at the hotel at 7:15 p.m. and wanted to have dinner, but the chef sent us away again, saying that he had a full house and we could have Bolognese, which he still had left over. Service like that is unacceptable...

Overnight stay Service wasn't that great. We were told the restaurant would be fully booked for dinner at 5:00 PM, even though I saw almost no one there. The staff member's advice: There's a supermarket 100 meters away, and we could go to the bakery there. Then the light in the room didn't work, and the TV didn't work properly either. Hence only three stars.

The exterior is unsightly and not very inviting as a hotel. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are okay, but clearly showing their age. It's best not to look too closely. Breakfast is okay.

The place far away from the city, it is difficult to access restaurants and entertainment places like clubs, cinema etc

It was OK for the night, but I definitely wouldn't book it again. A very old but decent hotel. One power socket in the room right next to the door. But the room was very spacious.

The best thing about Monbijou Hotel is it's location. If you enjoy walking around , it's a great place to start seeing the sites. The rooms are clean and very quiet on the courtyard side but quite small. The rooftop is very beautiful and nice to lounge around and get out of your room.The breakfast was good and well balanced.

Lovely little hotel w a very nice breakfast, close to shopping and restaurants on the square. Rooms are decent w high ceilings and windows, but the bed is very hard, pillows are not great and the tiny shower door didnt seal And leaked water everywhere for each shower. My Son and I stayed at the hotel after traveling to Cottbus for surgery. We found the staff very helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay from the front desk through to the cleaners. The hotel was situated in the centre with many restaurants/bars within easy walking distance, we eat at a different place on every one of the 6 nights of our stay. The room was excellent value

I was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel right in the heart of the city. The staff at the reception and during breakfast were genuinely kind and helpful — it didn’t feel forced at all, which I really appreciated. Our room was cozy and nicely heated. Booked two rooms on the same reservation. Only one room was found when checking in which lead to a lot of waiting time, trying to figure out what happened to the other room reservation.

The interior of the hotel reminds me of the 80s or 70s that takes you back in time. I would visit here during the cool season because they don't have air-conditioning inside, although they provide you with a fan but I'm not sure if it's comfortable for consecutive days. Check-in was easy, and the location was perfect for our needs, as we needed a hotel near Wuhlheide. We easily found a parking space in the surrounding residential area in the early afternoon. Parking was not friendly and easy to miss if don’t pay attention. Room didn’t have microwave and refrigerator was very small that can hardly put leftover in it or extra drinking water.

We used this as a base for our trip to Berlin and was out all day so didn't use any hotel facilities. You have to catch a tram to Potsdam across the road from the hotel and then a train to the centre of Berlin about every 10 minutes. There are shops opposites including a supermarket

Located in the Drewitz district, it's conveniently close to the motorway and offers excellent tram connections (trams run every 10 minutes). The rooms are very spacious, even if they aren't the most contemporary in style. Daily housekeeping is still provided here. Breakfast is excellent and offers everything you could wish for. The service is also very good. The restaurant 'Journal' is highly recommended...

Met out expectations. The location the hostel is build at is not trying to win a beauty award, but the connection towards Berlin and the inner city of Potsdam is great. Also through the night Trams are available. The rooms are large and even got an hair dryer. Only the pillows lack in comfort. The crew is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hostel!

Greeted by Jerome late on a Thursday evening. Looked after us throughout our stay. Rooms are bright and clean with a huge king size bed. We had a room over looking the garden, not sure what those overlooking the main road are like but this was very quiet.

Having a lovely stay here, the reception staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Nina and Andreas. The rooms are good, we were allocated a quiet room and it worked out well. The location is next to the Berlin bus station, which is all I can think of as a good thing. The room cleanliness was so-so, and the price wasn't exactly budget-friendly.

The facilities are too old, and they feel worse than those of more than 200 hotels in China 😅, but it is indeed close to the FESPA exhibition. I walk to the exhibition every day, saving taxi fare.

The lady at the reception (Asian) was unfriendly and seemed to have no idea what she was doing. I spoke with her supervisor, and then the issues were resolved. For 10 minutes, there were no bread rolls at breakfast, and the staff seemed completely overwhelmed. However, the older cleaning lady on the 6th floor was very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel's location is excellent, super close to both the tram and U-Bahn, and only two or three stops from Berlin Central Station. The breakfast is decent, though of course, it can't compare to breakfasts at hotels in China. You have to specifically ask the front desk for room cleaning as it's not done daily. Overall, it's a good option for business travel.

 This is super close to the airport. A little far from city centre but with Tram and Trains. It's not that bad. 

This hotel is simply petty. When I booked indicating I am traveling alone, they really only left one pillow and a single blanket in the room. There was also no kettle, coffee/tea bags in the room. Small details, but shows they are quite cheap to their customers (not price, but services)

A standard business room with all the essentials, including breakfast, cost 20.50 euros. The front desk service was excellent, friendly and professional, and there was someone on duty at night. The bed seemed quite soft. You need to speak German to watch the TV.

It would be excellent if tenants could have a kettle for boiling water in the hotel rooms, to boil water in the cold winter, for drinking coffee or tea packages to warm up ourselves in the cold harsh winter, when all restaurants are closed at night. Also a washing machine facility to wash our clothes.

The parking lot has very limited parking spots with a charge of 8 euros per night . The room is big for its price , comfy and clean  . Free sparkling water bottle in room . The elevator was broken when we stayed there . Had to carry suitcases via stairs up and down .

The rooms are about the same size, but there are too many beds, which take up a lot of space. There is no kettle in the room. To boil water, you have to go to the front desk to borrow water instead of the kettle, which they don't lend. The breakfast was not as rich as described online.

It is an interesting location when you plan to visit Potsdam. Unfortunately the quick connection ti city center of Potsdam via water taxi is not running anymore. So you need to be prepared to cycle or to take your car to get of this little island. The Interieur and set up of this hotel is a little bit out dated and serves its purpose.

The room was clean and comfortable—a comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, a convenient and functional kitchen, quiet, and a nice view of the courtyard. A nice hotel located in the centre of Brandenburg city. The front facing rooms have a very nice view, overlooking the church. WiFi works fine and the room is a bit old architecture, however clean and spacious. I had issues with the air conditioning which stopped working at 2 AM. That was unpleasant. A hotel in a quiet region of brandenburg. Breakfast was a buffet with many yogurt types,bread,different types of spreads,eggs and bacon.There is also a small gym,which was a nice surprise. Our visit was a nice experience and we want to come again.

The hotel is beautifully situated in the Old Town of Brandenburg, in a quiet neughbourhood. After taking dinner in the hotel, we went for a pleasant stroll to the river and back. To be recommended!

Clean room and bathroom. Air-conditioning didn't work. Breakfast was very good. Shower occasionally went hot and cold and we had to run a lot of water to get it hot. Good position in the old town. We ate in the restaurant and this was very tasty with good vegetarian options. Putting the wifi password in the room would have been helpful.
