A very successful experience. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the comfort of the bed. A very varied and delicious breakfast. Excellent value for money.

Excellent accommodation, just 10 minutes from the airport. The hotel is new, or nearly so. Ours was a family room for four, very spacious, spotlessly clean, with two TVs, and very comfortable. Excellent! There are two or three restaurants within walking distance.

The room was clean and tidy, and there was a parking lot. The breakfast was so-so, but there was a very good Chinese buffet restaurant called Jingdixuan nearby!

It's quite close to the airport, and the room is very large, but the table is very small, which is a bit odd. It's also strange that there's no kettle in the room…

This hotel is different from the Holiday Inn across the street, but it's a budget brand in the same group. It's fine if you book with that in mind, but if you book thinking it's a Holiday Inn, you'll be disappointed. The room is impersonal and fine for just one night's stay, but there's no kettle or vending machine, which is inconvenient. I needed water, so I went to the Holiday Inn convenience store...

The bed was very comfortable, but the hotel was newly renovated and the room had a bit of a smell.

Aircon was making weird noises intermittently. It sounded like an espresso machine. Room is a good size. The bed could be more comfortable. It is rather on the firm side. It is an ok hotel but I don’t think I would book it again. There are plenty options in the area if you need to stay close by.

Really nice, modern and clean hotel in a wonderful part of the city, close to East side mall, Uber arena, subway and lots of restaurants. The staff are all great with excellent English. We stayed 3 nights at the Holiday Inn Berlin City East Side during our weekend in Berlin and were fully satisfied with the quality of the service. Beautiful room, very flexible staff, ideal location, and great value for money. We will definitely come back if we visit Berlin again.

Convenient location and nice breakfast.

I was told on the reception that “check-in from 3 pm” doesn’t mean that I can check in at 3:05 pm. It means that I can’t check-in earlier than 3 pm. Waiting didn’t take long at the end, but what kind of scam is it?! Or is it a membership bonus? The room is spacious and look nice, but has quite distinctive cigarette’s smell.

The hotel is modern and very beautiful. There are some restaurants in the immediate vicinity but most of them are not great. However, one bakery is superb (at the campus only a minute walk away). Very friendly staff (the courteous Mr. Kunal checked me in). Unfortunately the coffee which I got as a welcome drink was the worst coffee I had this year (embarassing).

Clean hotel at a good location. Employee flew into a rage when i told him i parked my car at the garage and wanted to pay when leaving. Having your car parked at the day of check out is only possible until 2 pm.

in a word: Excellent. The location is perfect, since public transport in Berlin is always available and wherever you are, it is always easy to find your way back to Ostbahnhof. Staff is friendly and helpful and it is a treat to get a drink at the 24h bar.

Pillow and bed are not comfortable at all, because of this, I didn't sleep well at all and my back was hurt! Tried to ask the staff if they have other type of pillow, but they said they only have one type of pillows. If your room is facing the tram track side, good luck. You can hear so much noise in the night and bother your sleep.

Located in the city centre with U station, S station and bus stops nearby. Very convenient for city tour. The staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast is yummy with lots of variety. Definitely a good choice staying at Berlin. Will definitely come back if I visit Berlin again.

I had a fabulous stay for 4 nights and the location is near shopping mall, underground and Christmas market. The hotel has a good reputation by Hilton and you never have wrong decision. In addition, the breakfast is very good and sausages not every day served. I highly recommend.

The room rate was a bit pricey during the exhibition. While the hotel is conveniently located near Alexanderplatz and the Berlin TV Tower, it's still about an 800-meter walk. The breakfast selection was quite limited. However, the front desk staff was quite friendly.

The location was great, and it was convenient to store my luggage if I arrived early. I was a bit surprised when they charged a 50 euro deposit at first, but if you don't use the mini-bar, they refund it minus the city tax!

Great place and location. I could walk to most places of interests. Also many train, bus and tram services outside of hotel. The room is big, do is the toilet. But the single bed is very narrow. So worry will fall out of bed if I turn on my side. Good that 3 pillows are provided.

Although the hotel is right next to the MRT station, the soundproofing is excellent! We were even able to switch to a room with a bathtub! For breakfast, there weren't many hot food options, but there was a wide variety of choices overall. Room cleaning is an issue. They came to refill drink bottles but they didnt clean the room neither they change the use towels. Breakfast is too notch. Parking is an issue.

Property is well located 5 min walk from AlexanderPlatz, and staff well trained and accommodating. My issue was that the room was basic and poorly furnished. Bedding and bathroom towels were poor quality - so 2-3 stars there. OK for an overnight stay when you just need a bed and shower .... I imagine other hotels in thr area have a better price / quality ratio.

I stayed at the property during ITB Berlin, location is perfect with direct train connection to the trade show. Building exterior is a bit outdated, however room amenities and comfy bed is all I needed and met expectations. Good breakfast variety as well.

The hotel location is superb and really worth its value. The staff are also excellent with their services. Few observations for the management: The pillows are too soft and not all travellers like soft pillows. This didn't allow me to enjoy my sleep at all. There should be an option to choose between hard and soft pillows just the way options are given between two beds or large for the queen's room...

Don’t know why they gave me a room for wheelchair user which I obviously am not and therefore the facilities are not ergonomic for me at all. Hotel staff called me after 10pm on my first night to ask me to go downstairs to sign a document is bizarre as it was already my bedtime. The hair dryer in the bathroom is completely useless. On the whole zero complaints about the hotel itself. The complex is gigantic and much larger than expected, and as such, made finding reception quite difficult. The ‘front’ of the hotel is actually on the other side of the building than you’d expect - I.E. from the local tram stop, the entrance is on the opposite side than the one facing you. However, I’m unsure if we’ve arrived in an ‘offseason’...

The room was quite nice. The complex is huge, but the restaurant sells the ice cubes (???), guess is not part of the hotel. It is a lit bit far from the city, but the quality of the room and toilet was great. And comfy beds as well. AC working perfectly as was quite hot weather. Staff was professional and polite. This hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the location was quite convenient, and the breakfast spread offered a good variety. However, the rooms themselves were rather basic and felt quite dated. While it might be fine for a solo traveler, it's definitely not ideal for families or couples. What's curious, though, is that it seemed quite popular with Western guests.

Just one stop away from the main train station, this Mercure is a bit older compared to others. It's decent, nothing outstanding but no major flaws either. The soundproofing in the rooms isn't great; it can be a bit noisy.

The location is fantastic! Right across the street, you'll find the S3 and S9 train stations, which take you directly to the Central Station. There's also a very old and well-preserved military castle nearby that's definitely worth a visit. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, but it was very clean, and the breakfast view was superb.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, there was a problem with our room because the drain did not work. I don’t understand how a hotel like this can allow such an issue, especially considering the high price. Breakfast was fine.
