Pros : Room is fancy. Location is close to city centre
Cons: Rudest/unkind staff service in the entire world. Parking is super expensive.
They should mention it on booking.com and everywhere but they leave the looking for "parking fees" as guests responsibility and looks at you like alien when asking for help finding parking spots that are free.
Who would wanna come to a hotel and pay 40-60euro per day parking? This hotel is nothing more than average 2-3star hotel in Eastern Europe. But staffs (especially long black curly haired lady) was behaving like "this is super luxury hotel & how dare you ask for help finding parking". Shouldn't it be basic expectation or consideration from hotel knowing that all their guests are coming for staying at their hotel and more way to get more customers are by being kind and helping them find what they need instead of having grumpy face and "cant be bothered to help you behavior".
In Italy, any hotel in any region i stayed never had such experiences. In Itally all hotel owners were kind enough to let guests know where we could freely park or spend as minimum as possible. Only in Cologn, the staff here won't give a shit how much you have to lose out of your pocket for stupid parking.. speechless worst experience ever. never again will I have interest in coming to Cologne

Nice hotel in Köln, clean and with comfortable beds. Rooms are in good conditions. 1km to the Dom, Nice walk by the Rhine

An incredible hotel. Parking available above ground and in a parking garage. Very safe and secure area. Walking distance to the sckholade museum (5mins) and the centre (15mins). The staff were incredible, so helpful to my partner who's in wheelchair. Lift available at a different entrance as the main entrance has steps. The rooms were great, amenities were great and the view was awesome. Also loved the aesthetic of the hotel. Overall very happy and would go back again if ever in Cologne.

Stayed at this hotel many times and the team have been brilliant every time. Shahrzad was a faultless host providing great service and wonderful recommendations throughout the stay. The rooms are well designed with beautiful artwork, the breakfast choice is ace, and the rooftop views are calming after sundown. With the chocolate museum next door and the old town a small walk away, this hotel is a brilliant location for those wanting to discover Cologne!

We booked this hotel for our long weekend stay in Cologne, and it was a good destination. Less than 15 walking mins away from the old town, situated right at the river and with lots of dining options around, it offered everything we needed. The room was very spacious, with sort of a balcony just above the canal, with comfy beds.

A good location to stay at to be able to access most central destinations with public transport. Clean rooms and nice sound proofing. I have already stayed at this hotel twice and it is my go to when coming to Cologne. The staff was helpful in facilitating a room change.

Yes it's the centre of Cologne. But that's where the positives end. There is very limited parking onsite. It wasn't available the whole time we were there. You can park in off-site carparks that are under bridges or in parks at your own risk. There is no pram/wheelchair access so be prepared to carry them up concrete steps to the entrance. The rooms are very odd! A desk at the end of your bed with loose wires hanging around isn't very safe. It also blocks the view of the TV when watching it in bed. The bathroom light is shared with the bedroom inside some wall art so if you go to the toilet in the middle of the night it brightens the whole place up. Worst of all the mattresses had blood stains on them. I don't recommend this hotel at all. For £200 a night there are much cleaner and nicer places to stay.

I had 2 days in a conference at the hotel and also spend those 2 days there. My room had a nice view to the river and was also very comfortable/big.
Everyone was super nice and the food was delightful.
There is also a terrace with an amazing view.

We got a very warm welcome by the hotel. We got early check too. The location of the hotel was superb, very close to Lindt chocolate factory. You can take a nice long walk along the canal. It was such a peaceful stay for us and we really enjoyed our time here. The hospitality, service, food, location everything was good.

Five points may be a lot for this hotel, but interesting architectural solutions and, most importantly, location still deserve a high rating. With a small accommodation price, sorry for the pun. We will come again!
