This is a lovely hotel, situated right by the main train station. The city center is easily accessible on foot. The valet parking service was reliable and extremely convenient. Plus, there's a fantastic rooftop bar.

The room itself is a bit small, but I was by myself and it fitted my needs exactly. The staff are nice and friendly and I specifically want to mention Mr. Tobias Rothmund at the reception who was helpful during my stay

An absolute must if you want to experience the Kölsche culture, locals, food. Bier is the best and made in-house. Food is typical Cologne culture and amazing. We would have loved to be able to try the entire menu

Since there is no A/C the hotel does provide a fan. The hotel is located at the south end of Heumarket inside the Altstadt. I had no problem walking to any of my locations. Just a 16 minutes walk to Köln hbf

Clean and nicely designed rooms. They dont offer daily cleaning services unless you ask for it. They said its part of their sustainability efforts which was fine by us. Excellent location and friendly staff

The only downside was that the room could get too warm at night, so sometimes I had to open the window and let some cool air in. And I added the breakfast, which was very good especially the Eier mit Speck

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel zur Malzmühle. The room was cozy, but I never hang out in my room. I use the room for sleeping and for showering. I loved my window that opened like a door

It was about 30 mins walk to the cathedral xmas market and other markets were all about 15-20 mins if you prefer to walk. There are plenty of restaurants and shops closeby

Conveniently located near Barbarossa Platz tram lines. 4 stop from the Central Station. Room was compact but modern and well appointed. Funky abd pleasant lobby. I was able to park my bike in the secured garage.

I would give it five stars, but the "small" TV only had a few channels, the breakfast (although good for a continental) was limited, and the language barrier was a small challenge

The location is surrounded by car retailers and industrial type units but there are a variety of fast food and better restaurants within a mile. Rooms were a bit hot bit beds were comfortable and very clean

The hotel is very close to the station. The stairwell is very special. It is very suitable for checking in. The room design is very high-end. The green design is very special. It is very different from other hotels

My family stayed at the Wasserturm hotel for three weeks over the Christmas holidays and had a lovely time. This was our second time staying at the hotel in 2025 and everything was exceptional
