An okay place
I suppose it was a mistake to arrive on a Sunday night when there was no one on reception. I had had to used a push button to talk to someone and then negotiate an electronic key, trice, with suitcases. I then entered a lobby with no signs. I found the lift and the room, eventually, but it soured my view of the hotel from the off. The staff were lovely... when they were there. There is no bar. The breakfast was continental and adequate. The Turkish restaurant next door is off putting as you had to endure the smoke from hookahs to get to your hotel.

The room was very clean, the bed was not too big, about the same size as a dormitory bed, and it was quite unexpected to have a small balcony. Not happy with catching a flight in the morning, when checking out the front desk said we had a room that was not paid for, and the communication took a long time. The room fee is paid before check-in, and it is ridiculous to ask for payment when checking out.

The beds!
The hotel was nice and in a quiet part of what looks like a business area, there are shops and cafes nearby and the station at Hansaring is only a 10 min walk, walking to the old town was 25mins and straight forward.
The room was nice (Suite) and nice views. The only thing that let the room down were the beds, two singles together that don’t lock and single duvets! A bit of research shows this is normal in Germany, why I’ll never know, needless to say I spent the night wrestling with the duvet and trying not to fall down the gap!

We loved our stay. Easy to find by the entrance of the shopping mall (don't go inside, the entrance is in the street) and kind receptionists. They had an iron so we could iron our clothes. The rooms are modern and very clean.

The hotel is very close to the station. The stairwell is very special. It is very suitable for checking in. The room design is very high-end. The green design is very special. It is very different from other hotels. It can be seen that there is special design.
