The room was quite spacious for European standards. Overall, my stay was very pleasant. One thing to note is that a friend told me this area might require some caution regarding safety, but since I made sure not to go out after dark, I didn't encounter any issues.

Super close to Hbf, walkable distance, and only one subway stop away. The environment is fantastic, and it's really close to the subway station. They offer daily housekeeping and you can ask the front desk for slippers! This place is a hundred years ahead of Munich!

I had a very pleasant stay at NH Düsseldorf City. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped – perfect for relaxing after a long day.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get around and go shopping. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, so it was very quiet at night. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and they were quick to respond to any requests. The cleanliness was meticulous, the facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained, and it offered great value for money. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, making for a relaxing and comfortable stay, perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I would definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone.

Very nice hotel, clean and well maintained. Staff always friendly ans helpful, no issues whatsoever. Cleaning basically every day (stayed for 5 nights). Breakfast buffet has basically everything you need including really good coffee. Nice location just 7-8 minutes walk from central station, taxi outside and very convenient with a lot of restaurants and fast food close to the hotel. I also rented a conference room over Saturday and Sunday for a business meeting and the room was great, maintained by the staff with coffee and water, clean and good size for small business meetings.

The hotel was booked in advance by my employer. Once I arrived was a bit unsure about it due to its location, which seemed a bit “sketchy” however I didn’t have any bad encounters or stares from people. After getting into the room it did feel a bit old fashioned but nothing out of the ordinary, it could use a bit of a refresh though. This part might be personal however I do prefer, when my room has an additional inside lock, which sadly I didn’t have. In the morning, breakfast was well arranged from around 7AM till 10AM and had a wide variety of food, fresh drinks and more. Finally the staff have also left a positive impression, everyone was very friendly and attentive! Would not mind coming back again.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet basic hotel standards, let alone the expectations associated with the NH brand. Several basic amenities were missing upon arrival. There was no kettle in the room and we had to request one. After that, we noticed there were no tea cups either, which again required asking. Even though the room was booked for two people, only one drinking water cup and only one teaspoon were provided. In addition, tea bags were not refilled during daily housekeeping and were only available upon request, meaning we had to ask every time whenever we wanted to have tea. The hotel key cards caused constant inconvenience. They frequently stopped working and would not open either the room door or the elevator, requiring repeated visits to reception for replacement cards. The gym and wellness facilities are very limited. The gym is extremely small, offering only one treadmill, one bike, one standing/walking bike, and a small selection of weight-training equipment. There was also no drinking water available in the gym. The sauna is only open from 16:00 to 22:00, leaving no option for guests who prefer to work out and use the sauna in the morning. The room itself felt outdated and uncomfortably warm. We informed the staff about the room temperature, and they kindly assisted us with adjusting the air conditioning settings. Unfortunately, there was no noticeable improvement. As we were both very tired after a long journey, we chose not to raise the issue again. Overall, the room and air-conditioning system clearly require modernization. The bathroom was extremely small, making it nearly impossible to get dressed there. Many elements in the room appeared worn and in poor condition. The only real positive aspect of the hotel is its location, with direct U-Stadtbahn access to Düsseldorf main station (Hbf) just within one stop away. Although we appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staffs, the overall experience did not meet basic hospitality standards and fell short of the quality expected from the NH brand.
