I’m pleasant and quiet hotel In the centre of Bochum with good transport connections

Just a nice stay but much search to find something for dinner on Sunday evening

I only stayed one night but it was really comfortable. Everything was clean and working correctly. The location was good and felt safe as a woman traveling alone. Note: My perspective is as solo traveler with only one personal bag and I was looking for a place to rest mainly. The day I arrived, there was a strike so most of the buses and U line were not working but the location was good so it allowed...

Booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child. Only 1 double bed no child bed. I asked to be moved no availability on rooms with 3 bed. I asked for a folding bed they didn't have any. So one of us had to sleep on the floor. The double bed had a single size duvet. Only thing I would say is room was clean and spacious. I wouldn't book again.

A very quaint, old-world, classy property with a nice breakfast. Our family suite was spacious and comfortable, perfect for traveling with kids. The only downside was the WiFi - the signal was either very weak or didn’t work at all. Otherwise, a pleasant and peaceful stay.

We just stayed overnight as we were travelling by car from Paris to Stockholm. The hotel was very comfortable and the surroundings are fantastic. A very good breakfast - one of the best I've had. My daughter and family have also booked Parkhotel Hohenfeld in Munster when they travel to Sweden.

Beautifully situated hotel, everything very appealing, a touch of conservatism can be detected.

The swimming pool is more than disappointing. The pictures give the impression of a much larger pool. The whole area is very outdated. We were accommodated in an annex and therefore had to change in the pool area. Unfortunately, there are no lockers for our clothes. Unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.

The hotel's breakfast was exceptional, offering a delightful start to the day. I didn't stay overnight, but went there for breakfast on the weekend. I saw an advertisement and visited. It wasn't great, but it was good enough for a leisurely weekend breakfast. Having breakfast at the hotel made me feel like I was on vacation, which was nice. I'll go back again next time to change my mood.

For my wife and I, our week in a fabulous junior suite overlooking the lake was simply fantastic. I cannot find any fault, or small detail that we were not happy with. I am still staying at this hotel, and I think it is truly wonderful. The staff are very friendly. I am Japanese and can only communicate in English, but I have had no problems communicating in English. I stay here every year during the Cologne Exhibition. The transportation is convenient and there is a Lidl supermarket next to it. The only drawback is that there is not much food nearby.

I am staying at Sauerländer Hof on a regular basis. The rooms are great, there is plenty of parking and it is a good start for a bike trip or a walk. The hosts are extremely friendly and always trying to make your stay perfect. When I am in the area, I always try to stay there. Also try the restaurant, very tasty.

5* service of the personnel and owners. Very accommodating and friendly restaurant. Our room was lovely but not all rooms are renovated. Only downside was the location at a busy road. Spa was very nice, wasn’t prepared for the naked sauna’s though as wasn’t sure whether signage meant swimwear was optional or not allowed, probably an English thing, so avoided. Naked people wasn’t a problem to us but families with children should probably be made more aware.

I was on business trip nearby, it really annoyed me that the floor was squeaking around the entrance, and the same applies for the room above my room(130). The walls sound insulation was not that great either. Other than that is ok. There isn't really anything interesting nearby as far as I could tell. It was raining ALL THE TIME! This is probably my third time staying in this hotel, and the room I was given this time was a bit small. Everything is fine, just that simple and quality feeling. It’s the simple feeling I like. fine.

The hotel offers superb value for the price. It is in excellent condition and has a fantastic location. The buffet breakfast options were good, and the staff exceeded the standards of most hotels in Germany, especially considering the challenges in finding staff. We highly recommend it and are sure that we will be back.
