Steigenberger Köln is an average business hotel. Disappointing. We expected more from the Steigenberger brand. Very noisy. A pity that there is no welness.

Great stay in this vintage hotel. I liked a lot the amenities and the staff was kind.

The only thing I can think of that was not so great. Was that in room 246 the soap dispenser in the shower was not mounted to te wall correct, sort of "dangeling" in one screw. That could result in water damage in the future.

Very close to the airport and super convenient transportation.

Near the airport, good for one night stay. They also pack the breakfast for you if your flight is very early in the morning.

A room with a terrace only makes sense if you plan to sunbathe — there’s just one lounge chair. Great 5 star hotel. Many rooms have an inner hotel foyer view which is what we got. Not recommended as no privacy unless curtains fully shut. Breakfast has a good variety but not the best.

The Dorint hotel is in a very central location with wonderful views of the cathedral. The staff were very professional (from pre-trip communication to check-in and check-out) and super friendly. The hotel is huge and has lifts to all floors. Super quiet, room is pretty cozy, shower control is kinda hard to use, 15mins wall to the station.

Great location and staff welcoming - rooms and bathroom spacious and modern, only minor complaints were pillows too soft (unless you like them that way) and TV lacked modern functions like Netflix etc for the night time to wind down. Otherwise highly recommended - I visit yearly and will continue to do so.

Although the streetcar runs in front and behind the building, the room was very quiet and I slept well. The parking lot requires a fee, so street parking is recommended. The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and everything tasted great. Overall, I think the value for money is excellent.

Well. Let say we have been to several Van der valk hotels, and this one is not so good for us. The room was fine with balcony except it was not safe if you wanted to have the door open. Plus, smokers-was allowed on the balcony.

a very pleasant stay after a long haul flight.. recommended to stay for more than 3 days

The facilities were complete, and the stay was quite comfortable. The room size was just right, and the soundproofing was surprisingly good. I was really surprised by the price and quality; it's really nice 😙 Highly recommended! The room had no unpleasant odors, and the decor was simple yet stylish—just the kind of hotel style I like.

Parking is expensive, costing €25, and there's no elevator directly to the guest rooms; you have to climb stairs. Ground-level parking is a matter of luck; you might find a spot if you're lucky.
