The room overlooks a green urban area, and is within walking distance of museums, the Rhine River, and Königssee. The location is excellent, and the room is a comfortable size. Located right in front of the station, with a BvB shop very close by. The room had an electric kettle, was clean, and comfortable to stay in. The front desk staff were also very kind.

The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the bed – it was incredibly comfortable to sleep on. Waking up to the sound of the Cologne Cathedral bells right outside the window was truly wonderful. Its close proximity to the train station makes it very convenient for transportation.

Opted for Hilton for a business trip, and as always, it was great. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy. The breakfast staff at the front desk were incredibly warm and friendly, helping you start your day off right. From the central station, it is about 3 stops, and there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and there’s first bus operated at 4.45am. The famous cathedral church is about 15 mins walk and there’s a convenience stall along the journey. The room is huge, and the breakfast is nice. Overall it worth every penny you spend. Very enjoyable stay. I came with three kids and they had plenty of space to play in the bench corner. Right next to the reception is the children's play corner, which was good to kill time while waiting in the lobby. Yes, there are investments to be made into the rooms. Especially the bathrooms. The carpets and curtains are even horrendous at times. But the entrance is grand, the breakfast absolutely ok, service very friendly and helpful and the location evidently unbeatable when the fair or stadium is your destination. 4 stars is a bit too much, but 3 isn't justified either.
