Very nice hotel, located in a very convenient location. The staff is very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dias Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome with their warm smiles and authentic Cretan hospitality. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a relaxing atmosphere after a long day. The location is excellent — peaceful yet conveniently close to everything you need. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a great variety of local flavors. What really makes Dias Hotel stand out is the attention to detail and the personal care the team shows to every guest. You can truly feel that this hotel is run with passion and love. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Crete!

Excellent location and very helpful staff!

I had a short stay with my wife for 3 nights at this new renovated hotel and I have enjoyed it very much. Relaxing and quiet new pool area, friendly staff and tasteful dishes during the day. Nice location just 100 metres from the beach and only 15 minutes from Rethymno Town!!!

We had a really lovely stay at Dias last October and would definitely go back. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the start, always happy to help with anything we needed. The hotel was clean, modern, and well looked after. Our room was comfortable and cleaned daily, and the bed was great — perfect after long, lazy days. The all-inclusive plan was a real highlight, with a varied buffet throughout the day and drinks included, which made the whole stay feel easy and relaxed. Everything was fresh and well organised, with plenty of choice. The location was convenient but still nice and quiet, making it easy to unwind. Overall, a great-value stay with a chilled, friendly vibe. Would happily recommend!

This year we stayed at the hotel we have been going to for 14 years (Dias Solimar) which is now Dias by Azul. The new company has repainted the rooms, installed new beds (improvement on the old) and revamped the bathroom, a brilliant new walk in shower, new toilet and a new sink which is massively oversized and takes up far to much of the bathroom space, a shelf would be helpful. The restaurant and reception areas have been redecorated and are far brighter/roomier. Some of the "old" Solimar staff are still at the hotel (Andriana; Manolis, Mara). The pool area has not been revamped, the bar, the toilet, the seating area are still the same. However the pool depth has been altered making the deep end less so. You are not allowed to sit around the actual bar which I think is wrong. All drinks are served in cheap plastic throw away beakers (not very green or economical) INCLUDING hot coffee! However we were informed that there will be improvements made over the off season (winter) and look forwards to seeing them next year. The Dias Emerald which was the sister hotel of the Solimar is now the Emerald Oasis (part of the Azul Group) and has been fully revamped and an excellent job has been done, however the pool bar and the VIP bar (at the domos) also use the same cheap plastic throw away beakers, such a let down for 4 star hotels. Still we will be back next year as usual.

Everything was good the food,drinks,pool,bar the bus stop was in front of the hotel so we got easily to Rethymno. The staff was really kind and helpful. The all inclusive was worth it!! Marinos is the best bartender and a good new friend! We will go back

We have just returned from this Hotel for the 2nd time in 3 years after spending 2 weeks there . We both cannot say enough for those staff there for making our hoilday a great one . From Adriana on reception to the restaurant, bar staff and cleaning staff . The food as usual was of great variety and so much of it . An abundance of fruit and cereal aswell as cooked food. Great views from out room and always cleaned and smelling great . Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are always happy to see you . If I had one negative it would be the pool bar should remain open beyond 6pm like it did originally. Would 100% recommend this hotel for food ,staff,location ,cleanliness etc. Many thanks again to all at Solimar Diias
