Junior suite by the beach Stalida Hotel in Stalis

On the negative: - Standard rooms are a bit too small - Lack of storage space - Insufficient illumination in the bathroom - Several broken sunshades at the east pool - 0.4L beer, 5,5 euros - endurable, but more than twice the price across the street... - Greek coffee is only available at the main bar after 5.30 PM ( I need good coffee in the morning, not at night ! ) - Not enough space for sunbeds, very cramped place at the beach - 5* official status means 15 euros tax per room per day, it'd be 10 with 4*, which would fit better - When I asked for check-out one hour later than usual, an exaggerated 80 euros sum was required (and politely declined...) On the positive: - Comfy mattresses and pillows - Well-working Wi-Fi and A/C - Free parking across the street - The pink sofa in the room (Copper) becomes palatable after a couple of days - You can admire your naked wife while she is showering - Superb cuisine, nicely presented, including lots of Greek dishes - 1L of water every day brought to the room, coffee for the machine as well - Attentive staff

This was my first solo holiday. It didn't disappoint. A single 50 something female, wanting a hotel that was big enough for me to blend, yet small enough for staff to care! I was anxious when I first arrived. I needed of worried. I Resort Beach was perfect! Beautiful Natalia and Pollo looked after me from the minute I arrived. Always available with information and kind smiles. Georgia at the hotel bar, made me feel equally welcome The room was perfect! Overlooking the sea. Just wonderful Facilities, perfect! Used the gym, and spa. Both pools great with superb views. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea, was my favourite place every morning. Location, perfect! In the middle of Stalis, I ran minimum of 4 miles very every morning. Felt very safe. Caught the public bus (3 min walk from hotel) to Heraklion. Had to speak with the general manager before I left, expressing my gratitude to the team. Only one issue, I wish I found this place sooner! See you in 2026. Keep up the great work!

Chloé and Joana were wonderful, they make all guests feel confortable and the shows were lot of fun. We hope to see them again next year !

Brilliant location for the beach and town. Also good for getting the bus around the island. Hotel was clean throughout which was lovely. The staff were good although the waiting staff in the buffet restaurant and the main bar seemed a bit grumpy, the felt like we were invisible sometimes when we were not asked if we wanted another drink. Maybe because it’s the end of the season. The room was lovely — we went for the land view which was fine. The shared spaces like the lobby were great, never too busy, felt relaxed. This made for a lovely stay overall. A fabulous holiday.

Hotel is very nicely decorated. On arrival there was a bottle of wine, which was nice compliment. Good food. Cleaning ladies were doing immaculate job!

Amazing hotel and experience start to finish. Chloe, Joanna and Alesandro on the entertainment team were amazing. The bar staff were exceptional by the pool and in the evening. The food was excellent, would highly recommend and would absolutely return.

This hotel is lovely. We booked a 2wk holiday all inclusive. We up graded to a full Seaview room it was worth every penny. Staff so helpful on arrival. Rooms fabulous kept lovely by house keepers. Food is excellent so much choice lovely friendly staff attending to your needs. Brilliant entertainment staff doing lots of activities. Evening entertainment is varied and enjoyable. Swimming pool area and beach kept clean and staff work hard providing drinks after taking your order. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

We really had a great time here the hotel is fantastic the food was amazing and the staff so helpful and friendly. A big thank you to the entertainment team Chloe Joanna and Alessandro who always had time to talk and have a great laugh with Ey up chuck. Mr Beveridge the name says it all great man.
