The breakfast is available on the premises. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a calm, welcoming, and well-organized place to unwind
Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. One standout moment was when they helped us celebrate my husband’s birthday by arranging a thoughtful room service surprise with fresh fruits in advance
The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable vacation. There is a supermarket nearby and some restaurant options for lunch/dinner
We had such an incredible stay. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable for six people. The area was also incredible and had everything nearby from beaches to shopping
This is a truly guest-friendly establishment, beautiful and very well located. Close to Chania and the beaches, quiet. The staff are extremely attentive and caring
The hotel is located in a peaceful area, just a 5-minute walk from the nearest beach, which was perfect for relaxing strolls and seaside time

Small beach at the bottom of hotel steps and 4 mins to Neo Chora Food was great. Cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt hot food selection and many cakes or cookies
The hotel is basic but the staff really make a difference, pleasant and friendly- nothing is too much trouble. They’re lovely! An ample breakfast is served in the morning, with great views to start the day
The breakfast choices were delicious and plentiful. Everything was within walking distance (Nea Chora literally minutes away and easily travelled to by foot or a short cab right away
Our experience at Klinakis was beyond amazing. First and foremost the staff (Konstantina, Raphaella, Maria, Katerina, Yota and all) were kind, helpful and so warm and welcoming
We stayed in a first floor family room. It was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 4 people and luggage. There is an elevator in addition to stairs to reach the rooms
We did not have a sea view room, but the hotel terrace and lounge provided space to enjoy unobstructed, wide sea views. The hotel has a great location on the beach

Beautiful place Our room /luxury apartment is brilliant we have two showers two toilets two wash basins and a separate jacuzzi amazing facilities and friendly staff, Breakfast is great and they can’t do enough for us , Highly recommended
We had a beautiful room with jacuzzi inside. It was very atmospheric and romantic. Personnel is very friendly and I will definitely come here again.
Unbelievable location, right price for what it provides, clean atmosphere and super big apartment for family We stayed 6 nights and everything was perfect!!! Whenever I come to Chania I will first look to find a room here 1 minute from the port on foot
Beautiful beautiful and comfortable! My partner and I Stayed 2 nights in mid June. It's at the edge of the old town. We took the entire 1st floor apartment. 2 rooms, 2 showers, bath, living room and bedroom
room great but unfortunately the owner is a disaster. We got keys to a room that was in a different location. The owner did not answer the phone. Complete failure. I do not recommend
Excellent location close to everything on a very quiet street. Very comfortable beds, very good shower. Excellent hydromassage in the room. Very good varied and very rich breakfast

The pool is beautiful with excellent sun loungers and umbrellas. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Channia and would personally like to thank everyone at Monte Varia for making our stay comfortable
Our third year staying at this family run hotel with three generations involved. The two sisters - Eleni and Christina supported by their parents and Eleni’s sons - Niklas and John - are so welcoming and friendly
Nothing was too much, they were the perfect hosts The large pool was stunning, the rooms airy and we had two balconies. The breakfasts were plentiful and tasty. Laundry facilities available should you wish
The hotel has a unique boutique feel about it as nothing is any problem for the owners or staff. The hotel pool is one of the best in Chania and the terrace view is the best in Chania
The hotel is situated just outside the main city of Channia which is around a 10 minute taxi ride into the city which is a stunning and beautiful place, alternatively you can get a bus that runs every 20 mins at a cost of 1
Nothing appears too much from them pertaining to special dietary requests or advice and service in general. The Montevardia hotel is spotlessly clean and the huge array of breakfast choices are a sight to behold

The only complaint for me was there was no coffee, just tea in the room and no ceramic cups they were plastic and I could taste the plastic every time I used them, also no classes for water or wine which is unusual
My room was very clean and there was a nice welcome gift waiting for me (loukoumi with some local raki). Breakfast was ok smorgasbord style with a rather standard selection of cereals, cold cuts and cheese
This is a beautiful hotel immaculately clean. The staff were lovely from the reception staff to the cleaner to breakfast staff. The room had a balcony and it was a nice size
The road is very noisy from morning till late at night but didn't bother us too much. On the whole a very nice hotel
Great hotel!! Friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous sea side views and perfect pen balconies to feel the sea breeze
The street below is very busy and a bit noisy, but the balcony door must be soundproofed because we still slept peacefully, despite the Olympiakos victory on our second to last night here!!! Woo!

Wonderful staff, always friendly and helpful. Extremely clean. Quiet and peaceful. Only a 20 minute trip on the 21 bus into Chania Town if you wanted to go into noise. Summer has a wonderful fun Greek night to join in.
We had a really good time there. The staff is amazing, they helped us in a deli ate situation. The location is good, close to a beautiful beach, good restaurants and they have a market right infront.
It’s an exceptional hotel starting from the cleaning lady, the girls in the reception, the food, the evening events, the swimming pool and the director of the hotel who makes sure we are all happy
The positive side is that the staff here are fantastic. Both the bar and pool staff, the reception, and the housekeeping team were all so kind to us. The food in the restaurant is also excellent
The hotel is cozy and well-maintained with a perfect location but it’s the people who create the real magic here. The staff is incredibly warm and helpful making us feel like we were among friends not just guests
This year we also met some amazing Greek friends the kind of people you want to stay in touch with for a long time. Porto Kalamaki is not just a hotel it’s a place where you can truly feel at home

Best location in Chania! We could walk to city center in minutes. Alex, the manager, loaned me a Hulu g pole to do Samaria Gorge - much appreciated! He found us parking and helped us navigate the city
Because of delays in travel we got there almost check in closing time. Alexander was nice enough to wait for us. He was very attentive and made sure our stay went well. He even helped us with parking
The space was spacious and did not feel crowded, it also felt very clean and comfortable. They provided a parking spot for our car which make it so easy instead of looking for parking for hours
These apartments are set around a quiet courtyard shaded by a large lemon tree. Lovely to relax in on the many tables and chairs, especially on a warm afternoon
Would recommend to any and all Kasteli Suites was perfectly located right near the port of chania. It was an easy 2-4 minutes walking before you were downtown
Lovely clean room with a nice patio. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Nice patio space. Great location by the port and archeological sites.

I had the most good sleep there. Super quiet, clean rooms and very friendly staff that welcome you like you are family. Thank you.
The host spoke very good English and gave us a lot of tips that was useful for our trip. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, a small fridge, a balcony, aircondition and a good shower
Very friendly staff, looked out for us and took his time to explain everything in the area.

We have just returned from Chania, Crete and this hotel we called it our home for about 7 nights. Our room was quite spacious with a comfy double bed, shower was perfect and so relaxing
The staff was extremely helpful, especially when I had locked myself out late in the night and had to call them for help. They not only were SUPER nice about it, they were super quick to help
The room was amazing, far exceeding my expectations (I was shocked to how big and nice it was), and it was right in the heart of Chania (2 minute walk from everything)
Really good value, pleasant rooms, with comfortable beds. The owners are very friendly, and helpful. 100% this is where I would stay, if I return to Chania.
Uniquely designed and clean spacious rooms, pretty central near the Market, around the corner to the Venetian Harbor.
A 5 minute walk from the city center. Very friendly host and a clean, spacious room. I will definitely come back!

Since our next destination was Santorini by boat from Crete, which could only depart from Heraklion port, we opted to take a boat from Athens to Chania first, and then a bus from Chania to Heraklion
The facilities were quite good, and any minor issues we raised were quickly resolved. The front desk staff were also very helpful in providing information about various places in the surrounding area
Crete has two main cities: Heraklion, the cradle of Western civilization, and Chania (also known as Chania), a city repeatedly invaded by other empires
Considering we'd be traveling by bus for the next two days, we chose this hotel close to the Chania Bus Station, less than 400 meters away
They have very friendly staff. Very clean and very relaxing place 😌 you can talk with them and take more suggestions to visit. Highly recommended.
Comfy rooms with no noise. Staff very friendly and helpful! Great location! 5 mins walk from coach station and 10 from the old town,

The hotel is in a very good area. Room was ver clean with every day housekeeping
The accommodation was perfect! Very close to the central bus station for cheap trips to the beach if desired. My accommodation was right at the old city’s centre and it was lovely
A bit noisy at night as there are singers that perform on the streets but that stops around 11 pm. The hotel staff were always present and very accommodating and nice
Will Definitely Stay Again The staff were all very friendly and plenty of them speak English
On the other hand shower cabin without door and the water splashing out, wardrobe very small with just 4 hangers, no light in the bathroom ( just small mirror light) , coffee maker without coffee provided, balcony quite small

Fantastic staff. Also very convenient all restaurants, bars, and excursion pickups are in walking distance. The house keeping cleaned the place daily.
Very comfortable and spacious room in the old city. Close to everything you need. Restaurants, shops, bus station.
Lovely Room in Great Location but Mind the Stairs The property is very centrally located, and the room was lovely and clean
Great location in the old town!
A small hotel with just a few rooms and no front desk. You get the key to the front door to open it up when you return. No elevator. But it was clean and cozy and had a teensy balcony over the little street below.

This hotel only has 7 rooms and Eleutheria and the ladies who prestar this hotel were amazing! Be advised that there is no parking around this hotel as it's in the pedestrian district of Old Town Chania so do your research about parking beforehand! Also, there is no elevator so I would advise not taking a large suitcase (as I did)
The kitchenette had everything you need to make a light meal. The room was spacious and very clean. The room had AC which was surprising! Excellent location for exploring Chania
Wonderful Old Town Location! We had a wonderful stay. The service and location are both excellent. We hope to be back again someday. I also want to thank you for your help before our arrival regarding parking our vehicle
I really felt like I was staying in someone's home here and I can't recommend this hotel enough! We rented a car but it stayed parked the whole time as everything is walkable
Parking just outside the historical walking district was complicated for us, and your guidance made things much easier by directing us to the nearest free parking
The owner, Eleutheria, was extremely welcoming and helpful, and gave great guidance for interesting things to do, places to eat etc

Excellent location step out the center. With all the restaurant and shops and Very clean. Gorgeous views if you got sea view room. Very kind and accommodate frond desk
Awesome and best location with harbour view from the room. We stayed there for two nights in sea facing room. Room size is small but bed is comfortable
Hotel staff is nice and friendly, allowed us to keep bags after checkout. Best place to experience chania old town
Anyone that comes to Chania pretty much comes to hangout in the old town so it was very convenient to just be in the centre of all. I regret not staying here longer, 2 nights was not enough
The bed is very comfortable and with the doors open at night, the sound of the waves lapping in the harbour create a great ambiance. A simple breakfast is available at €12 if you want it
Clean rooms, and the view is heavily underrated of the port. We had a centrally located room overlooking the port. Each morning I could watch the sunrise, drink my tea and stretch and exercise in the peace and quiet

We cannot recommend enough this place. Beautiful mansion that used to be old embassy, Great large grounds with magnificent pool. Amazing breakfast and staf that are extremely caring. Would love to come back!!!!
The rooms are vintage in a delightfully comfortable way. Breakfast is customized each day to your preferences and a delicious array of choices are available. The only slight downside is the pool garden
While the pool is large and dreamy, it does attract swarms of mosquitoes (the only ones we encountered during two weeks exploring Crete). All in all a wonderful property that you should not hesitate booking
Exceptional Villa with the most amazing view! The rooms are spacious and very clean! The Villa keeps the traditional style and is well kept. The outdoor pool and garden are great with plenty of shade
From fresh flowers in the room on arrival, comfortable beds, gorgeous pool and gardens to perfectly served breakfast over looking the harbour was just the best! Can’t praise this enough 🙏
The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly ; the ladies that keep the house clean and serve our breakfast are the heart and soul of the villa! The breakfast includes homemade jams and Cretan traditional food that was delicious

I happily use the Elia hotel chain when visiting Chania. Great staff, very helpful receptionists, excellent breakfast, facilities that exceed your expectations. Overall, the service is absolutely exceptional
Budget hotel in the elia hotel family. Very good value for the money. A largish room, clean, great bed, air conditioning, fridge, and all the toiletries a good hotel provides (dental, shaving, shower kits)
However, the window couldn't close completely shut, and there was a lot of noise from the many restaurants nearby. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel!
Fantastic stay at Elia Dorotheou. The location and service was AMAZING 👏 Modern room with the yummiest breakfast 😋 Looking forward to coming back next year

What made my stay especially memorable were the wonderful hosts. Alexandra and another gentleman (I believe his name was Andreas?) were incredibly warm, accommodating, and genuinely kind
La Maison Ottomane is truly a hidden gem in Chania’s Old Town. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the Venetian harbor and all the restaurants and shops
From the moment I arrived, they made me feel so welcome and at home. The breakfast each morning was homemade and freshly cooked, which was such a treat. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared
Tucked away in a quiet corner, La Maison Ottomane provided unexpected serenity and charm with great convenience to tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront
There are only THREE rooms so book this beauty in advance! Because we had to leave for the airport at 7am, Alex left breakfast in our room when she cleaned our room the day before so we could have a bite before heading to the airport
Our stay at La Maison Ottomane was lovely! It was very clean, had artwork that was unnecessarily refined and beautiful, and breakfast was a lavish experience

Great location, clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast. Special mention to Manuel the restaurant supervisor who was very courteous and helpful. Will stay here again.
No matter the room size, facilities or hotel service, they are all excellent
I will definitely come back again
If you were in a three-star hotel for 1,000 a night, I would think you were pretty good, but if you said that you were in a five-star hotel for 2,400 a night, I would find it ridiculous
