Ideal Hotel in Kokkini Khanion

Amazing hotel. Staff and service was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Food in the restaurant was beautiful-freshly cooked and lots of choice. The pizzas were a big hit with our boys. Rooms are a little basic but for the price they were clean and had everything you need. We have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will definitely return. Thank you Ideal staff for a great holiday.

Great hotel with very friendly staff. It's a family run business and has all you need. For a 2 star hotel it's not to bad, a pool, restaurant. Food is lovely.

From the first welcome, greeted off the coach, to the final goodbye, the family run apartments made for a wonderful holiday. The rooms were clean, tidy and modern. The pool area was, again, all three.
The food, available all day in the complex restaurant, was of amazing quality (and quantity!) and exceptionally good value!
My particular favourite was the seafood linguine.... Just stunning...

Very friendly place, well located near enough to the airport to give a short transfer and bus into the city and other nearby resorts. Basic self catering, clean and well serviced. Was quiet in May so lots of room around the nice pool. Attached restaurant bar was welcome and did great food too. Beds were on the firm side, but personal preference and all that!

My sister and I went backpacking across Europe and made a stop in Crete for a few days. This hotel was the best we have stayed in, the rooms are giant, the beds are comfortable, and the food is delicious. Everyone here is so nice, they are very welcoming and kind, go out of their way to great us, and ensure that we have everything we need. You get giant servings of amazing food for a very cheap price, and the restaurant is right below the hotel. It's so close to the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk, and they have a really nice swimming pool as well if you don't want to go to the beach. Could not recommend this place more! Absolutely amazing all around.

Nice hotel with restaurant attached stayed for 2 weeks . Very attentive staff. Bar open until the last customer goes. Very nice apartments , with a relaxed atmosphere. Not much in the area. But a fantastic bus route that takes you to malia and the other way herkalion.

Simple rooms with a small kitchen and bathroom, nothing special but perfect and as expected. Amazing family run business, all the staff are great and will go out of their way to make your stay better. The restaurant is also the best in Kokomo Hani by far, the food is top notch, even the homemade raki they serve you is the best you’ll come across. Only a 3 or so minute walk from the beach and a supermarket makes the location perfect.

Wow. What a great experience. Was not expecting that since the hotel was so cheap but the staff was absolutely amazing. They greeted me by name everyday. Helped me with whatever I needed. The restaurant there is sooooo delicious too. Must try the pizza🤤 the room was huge and comfortable with a nice balcony. Pool was so clean. If you have a car, there is plenty of parking on the street (it’s safe), and/or across the street (very convenient location). There are shopping areas all around, a clinic and pharmacy next door for any covid testing, a grocery store a couple blocks. And the beach is a short walk across the street. The beach offers a bed and umbrella set for 5€ (cash). They have a small bar that offers beverage, chips and simple sandwiches (would not recommend sandwiches so bring your own food). There is a man who walks around the beach selling colossal donuts which are yummy and fresh!

Everything is great here! The apartment is a great size, facilities good, access to washing facilities, very clean, excellent housekeeping, very friendly and helpful staff, location is great (outside but close to tourist area), lovely views of countryside, access to amenities… plus restaurant on site, where vegetables and salads come from their own garden!! We’ll definitely come back :-)

I have rated the Ideal Hotel with 5 stars throughout, it is not a 5 star hotel, it is a self-catering apartment hotel, but for what it is it deserves the high ratings.
It is family run, one brother George works the bar and Taverna in the evenings, another brother is the Chef, and the third brother works the bar in the morning and afternoon. There is a huge garden next to the hotel and every morning the mother, Maria gathers vegetables, for use in the kitchen, from it.
Everyone is welcoming and will do anything they can to help you.
The apartments sleep 4, and a kitchenette with table and chairs, that is equipped for basic cooking. There is also a balcony or terrace complete with table and chairs.
There is a small pool, which is ample for the size of the hotel, with ample loungers around it .
The hotel has a lovely, friendly feel as it is a small hotel.
There is a Taverna at the hotel which has a vast menu, it was so good we ate there every evening during out 14 night stay.
This is a cosy, family run hotel where everyone is welcomed and made to feel extra special to the family.
